This is a wonderfully maintained fishing, swimming, beach-hangout, dog or otherwise walking location. It's ripe for basking in the beauty of Mobile Bay, while mingling, grilling, walking, or otherwise engaging in the picturesque ocean views. Overall, it's a friendly & vibrant community with periodical festivals, & dynamic social scenes daily to satisfy any level of interaction.

Across the bridge from Mobile City, it is the best park on the east coast. It is suitable for taking wedding photos. It has the most beautiful rose garden, suitable for the elderly, middle-aged and young, and even walking children.

Great little spot with plenty of trees/shade for hammocks, picnics and space to spread out on the beach. Beautiful views of downtown Mobile and the entire bay.

Pier is free, north park charges $20/car certain times of year.

swam in the gulf. Water warm and amazing. Dolphins swam by us just a great experience. Paid $20.00 for our carload. Bucket list I didn't know i wanted. Check

This beach is nice for swimming and relaxing. It’s super quiet and pretty clean. Lots of trees line the edge of the shore for shade. Very enjoyable beach for the anti-social crowd.

Nice place to get in touch with nature, roses, take a love one. Awful that the pier restuarant is closed. Go anyway and have a nice walk on the pier, a nice walk around the water fountain, and through the rose garden. Lots of beautiful roses of all colors to see and photograph.

If you like the photos, please hit the thumbs up to say "thank you" for the nice photo. Thank you.

Could not believe the weather was so mild in January! Being from the Midwest, it was quite a delight! Very clean park. There were a few items of trash but not near enough trashcans out yet. Beautiful views!

Place is pretty cool, definitely a scenic drive and walk. On a beautiful day you can see all the way to Mobile from across the water. Nice little place to get away.

The first thing I have to say is.... this area is so CLEAN!!!!! You can actually sit on the benches and walk barefoot without having seagull poop all over. The walkways around the fountain, and beach area are all so clean. I think it is the off season as there were not a lot of people here, so it was very peaceful. There is a restaurant on the main pier and grassy areas to lay on if the sandy beach isn't your thing.

Great place for a quick trip.. we live 10 mins away, and 35 mins to the gulf.. (without beach traffic)

We had a family day here and it was the best, with no stress. Although my family did not play this time, observing social distancing, the park had covered sitting spaces with picnic tables, and a "jungle gym" area for the little ones. The time of day we went was a great time to go. Public restrooms are available (PSA: they were clean, help keep them that way). We hope to visit again soon!

It's beautiful and kids love it. Playground is currently shut down due to Covid 19, but it's still nice for walking and enjoying the beach scenery.

Great strech of beach! Was broken glass on the beach but wasn't filthy. Will definitely be returning.

I very much enjoyed this park. We sat in a shaded area and enjoyed a cool breeze as we talked with relatives that we had not seen in a few years. Good times!!

It's every bit as serene as you'd expect! It never looks quite the same because of the sun in the background.

Playground area, bench and park swings... Says $20 per car to get in but noone was at the booth so I have no idea. Kids had fun.
