Ridglea West Animal Hospital

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me a small town feeling that made me comfortable. Took my bunny for a check up and to get his nails trimmed. I was impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable they were. I will not take my pets anywhere else from now on!

I Appreciate this Clinic. I brought my sister in on Friday. She never been sick before until this year and we found out that she had cancer.. My daughter immediately broke down and in so many words, the doctor was letting us know the possibilities of what could happen. And what we could do to make her feel better. But me on the other hand Knew that we just needed to get the pain meds to make her feel comfort. And Sunday morning at 7:45 AM my sister passed away. We found out she was 18 years old and human life so that made her 120 in doggies life. So she was truly blessed and highly favored. And will forever be missed and I appreciate the doctors And the staff and Miss Rebecca, she’s the reason why I was able to get my sister checked out. They were all so sweet and Helpful and I Appreciate that. Thank you so much

They have always treated my rabbit with love and care. I highly recommend them.

The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about reptile care and genuinely cared about my skink. Some of the vet techs even took pictures with her because they hadn’t seen a skink in their office before! I felt very confident in their care and Scoots has a clean bill of health.

Sara & Dr. Verwers were very gentle & kind to Salem. They provided lots of good recommendations to help keep Salem healthy.

This is my "favorite animal house" This group of amazing animal loves have taken wonderful care of all of our critters from Max the Pyrenees, to Shaggy the guinea pig to even our pet hedgehog. The special in all types of pets, not just the 4 legged kind! Can't say enough wonderful things about Ridglea West Animal Hospital!

The staff was nice, the office was clean, the vet answered any questions I had and was very informative, and my pup seemed to really like them. Very happy with overall visit!

I arrived about 15 minutes early to my appointment and was quickly checked in. I waited for my turn and when I was seen, the technicians were very quick, friendly, and accurate! I had come for a general check up on a new kitty I brought home earlier this month. I thought he was just teething, but it turns out he also had something else. The vets were quick to consult me, make decisions, and follow through. We were in and out within an hour and a half; he's home and feeling much better!! Wish Gomez a speedy recovery!!

The Doc and staff at Ridglea West gave my sick teenager kitties the love and treatment they needed! I almost lost one, but now he is thriving and happy. Kudos to the tech for sending a text photo of Round Eye, as their overnight guest. That says it all!

I've always been happy with the level of care provided to my pets. Dr. Verwers quite literally saved our Lady who had Parvo at 8 weeks old. Can never repay him.

Dr Viewers and his team know me and my dogs names and what's going on in our lives. They are always happy to see us and answer the phone even at 2 in the morning when there's an emergency! I trust no one more with my fur babies

I always have a great experience at Ridglea West Animal Hospital! They take great care of my Molly girl, communicate well with me, help us make a plan whenever needed, and don't push for us to spend unnecessary money. I came to them from another vet that didn't do a good job and have never looked back! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the doctor is great. Molly is a healthy, happy girl thanks to Ridglea West :)

This place has a small parking lot and even smaller waiting room. It was packed but I understand why. Everyone here absolutely CARES about your and your pet. They are all so kind and the doctor really listens to your concerns. They aren't in it for the money, they are here for your pets. This is the only vet that has texted the next day to check on our cat. Love that they treat reptiles too.

I took my parakeet because he had a respiratory illness. They got me in quickly. The Vet Tech was wonderful with him. The doctor checked him out & recommended meds & diet. Had a follow up which went well. Thank you Ridglea West for making this bird Mom happy. J.J. Is doing great!

We’ve visited here once with our new puppy and so far we loved it! The staff is very friendly and the vet seems to actually care unlike most other places. Also they aren’t requiring curbside which is a game changer for us. Only one person could accompany our puppy during her vaccines but that’s better than turning her over to a stranger. We just might have found Ridgea West as our vet!

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. DVM was up front and direct. Exam fees affordable. Really appreciate the way they run the clinic.

I took my cat on a sick visit to this clinic. It was his first time going to this particular clinic. They were fantastic. It was the best best vet experience we ever had. They let me in the room with my cat for his exam. They gave him treats and let him roam and get comfortable with his surroundings. They gave him love and affection and made sure he wasn't super anxious. They helped me get him back into the kennel which is always a struggle for me. They were also incredibly affordable in comparison to vets I have used in the past. I highly recommend. Would use this vet again.

I took my classroom pet bearded dragon Thorsly here because I was concerned about him not eating vegetables. While I went there for that concern the doctor informed me that he was concerned that he might have a calcium deficiency. He took x-rays and sure enough he does. He did a side by side x-ray to show me Thorslys bones compared to a bearded dragon that had a normal amount of calcium. This place is amazing and they really care about your pets. Thorsly has a follow up appointment in 2 months.

I love this place. Dr Verwers and staff are amazing. They are personable, attentive, and make you feel as if they are treating their own pets. I drive 45 minutes out of my way to go to Ridglea West because of how great they are. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I saw some reviews about Dr. Craig being rude and I was like you must be incorrect. He is firm and educated with a wonderful sense of humor. I care for several rescue animals and I am always met with respect and urgency by the staff members and Dr Craig. I am thrilled I am able to use this vet as a tool in my pocket when I need them for my animals. We recently fixed our 7 month old pitbull who we found on the streets a few months ago. That evening Craig texted me from his personal line to make sure to contact him if anything went wrong overnight or anything. He also took money off the surgery without me even asking because it was "the good boy discount"

I was beyond thrilled/moved. You simply don't get that experience elsewhere. So when you come here, treat them with care and respect. Our city is beyond overwhelmed with over population and a good vet is really hard to come by. It's an insanely difficult job to do for as long as he has!!!
