Update 6/22/24-tried the tortellini today. Very good, not too much, not too little. Tasted very handmade and unique. Yum! Atmosphere is very cozy with floor to ceiling glass.

2023- We stopped by today as this is my first time my parents have visited me in Rockwall. I hadn't been to this restaurant yet but it looked really nice from the outside so I took them here. Everybody had a great meal, my father ordered the salmon and goat cheese omelette, my mother had the crab cake Benedict and I had the lobster ravioli with scallop and crab. We polished everything off with some delicious quality coffee, chocolate mousse cake as well as apple walnut pie. Everything was delicious and the service was very kind as well. Their interior atmosphere is both cozy as well as industrial modern and their prices were extremely reasonable for the quality. You can get a meal here between $15 and $25 each.

From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The service, led by the incredibly attentive and professional Bujar, is impeccable. He's not only friendly but also provided us with the best recommendations for our meals; he's a key figure in this place! Plus, apart from being super handsome 🤭😂, his charm adds to the dining experience.

But what truly sets Esta Aura apart is its exquisite food. Every dish is a masterpiece of authentic and fresh flavors. Perfectly al dente pastas with high-quality ingredients, every bite is a journey to Italy. Additionally, their wine selection perfectly complements each meal.

Such an amazing experience. It was our first time visiting, and the staff went absolutely above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I've seriously never had such incredible customer service. Thank you to Brandon and the team for making this regular dinner feel special! The food was absolutely amazing as well -- menu was broad and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. I would absolutely recommend Giovanni and hope to come back soon!

Fantastic restaurant. Being Italian,it's nice to see an Italian restaurant serving authentic foods and not the traditional Italian-American dishes everyone calls Italian food.

The selections are fabulous. Cooked to perfection and seasoned very well.

The service is outstanding. Our server, Brooke, was one of if not the best servers we ever had. Very attentive, one step ahead, and extremely professional. This is a seasoned server. We will ask for her at every visit.

Finally, the drinks are pretty well balanced with an above average bartender. It's better than most restaurants in the Rockwall area.

We went on a Thursday, and they had a Jazz trio playing, which was a very nice touch.

To finish out a great meat, don't forget dessert. It was fantastic.

GIOVANNI IS A+++ ALL THE WAY.

Food was really great and the service was equally good. I will go back to this place. Maybe on a day when it’s less crowded

Food was extremely good with a terrific atmosphere... overall great place.

They were packed, but we still were able to set a 6:45pm reservation calling on a Sat afternoon.

Came here for brunch and it was really good and I had a good time. Since moving to the area, it's been hard to find good brunch spots that don't require a drive to Dallas or Plano/Frisco but I enjoyed this restaurant.
We had sat at the bar and our bartender was super sweet and had good suggestions. We had started with the Calamari Shrimp Fritto Misto and it was so good. The cauliflower and zucchini were so delicious that we fought over them - wonderfully breaded and well seasoned. We had had a few cocktails that included a Mimosa Flight, an Espresso Martini and a very similar Carajillo, and a Mimosa that I made into a Man-Mosa (they add a shot of vodka). All of the drinks were phenomenal. The Carajillo cocktail was a suggestion from our bartender after the Espresso Martinis and initially we were skeptical about it because we thought the Licor 43 would be an overwhelming taste of almond but it all really paired well together.
When it came to the food we shared the Vegetarian Egg White Omelet, the Brioche French Toast, a side of Truffle Fries, and a side of Bacon. Everything tasted great. The French Toast was the star - one of the best French Toast's that I've ever had because it didn't deflate down or wasn't too heavy either - it had the perfect density if that makes sense and the syrup tasted amazing on top. The goat cheese in the omelet tasted great as well but we both really liked the roasted red pepper sauce that was served with the brioche toast - definitely a star next to the French Toast. I can't wait to come back here to try more on their brunch menu but also to come and try their dinner menu. Definitely a restaurant I would like to frequent!

Came back a different day to enjoy brunch with some friends and everything was just as delicious as the first time around. We had the Charcuterie Board (the pears were drunken and amazing), Crab Cake Benedict, Amaretto Pancakes, Truffle Fries, Brioche French Toast - and it all tasted great, no complaints!

Everything about this experience was surprising and fun. Our waitstaff, Journee, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The spinach and artichoke dip is very flavorful. The Lobster Ravioli Pescatore was the perfect sized serving. The scallops were cooked to perfection. We ate here on a Thursday expecting zero issues with parking, especially since they are located in a hotel/shopping district and were shocked that there were zero spaces available. There was a free concert in the park that we were unaware of. However, they had valet parking and were pleasantly surprised to find that Giovanni's validates! How nice!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing service and delicious food! The food presentation and atmosphere have an upscale vibe but is not overpriced at all. The drinks were also great. Me and my family had a great time.

Food was Delicious. I really liked the plate with the logo. The lamb was great, we completely devoured the tuna tartar, crab stuffed avocado was really good. Salmon was perfect!!!!!

Delicious food and a good ambience on the inside and outside. Outside always a great option, esp with nice weather bc it feels private. The menu side is average ranging with options between chicken, steaks, and seafood with surf & tuff combos. Nice appetizers and salad choices and good range of desserts + they do weekly chef specials. The flourless gluten free chocolate cake is a nice touch as well. This is my go-to spot down here in the Harbor District.

Came in for lunch. Server was a bit slammed but got to us quickly and was good throughout. Food was absolutely amazing and fair priced. Everything from apps to dessert tasted like something I'd pay twice as much for. Tiramisu was wonderful.
Highly recommend the Sangria.

We visit Giovanni a couple times a month for lunch, dinner, or brunch on Sundays. The atmosphere is upscale but casual. The Ceasar salad comes with warm, homemade polenta croutons and are gluten free. Pair that with a tuna board and a glass of wine for a quick, working lunch. For dinner ask about the specials. If they have lamb or fish, get that! Two of our favorites. Many options or substitutions to keep a meal gluten free. I have never had any issues eating here. The service is always amazing! Easy access from any of the Harbor boat slips. Be sure to wear a cover up over your bathing suit and grab some shoes or, order to go back to the boat. We've done both!

Literally my favorite upscale casual restaurant in all the DFW metroplex. The staff, the food, the price. These people are the best. Some how there's always a table available. Sean, you're the GOAT

We loved our brunch entrees. The charcuterie appetizer was very good. The steak and cheese sandwich was awesome. We also got the Cobb salad that was very fresh and flavorful. Others in our party got the crab cake eggs Benedict that looked really good. The eggs were cooked perfect. The lump crab and stuffing was very moist and fresh. The grilled chicken pesto was really good too. Can't wait to come back for dinner.

Exceptional lunch! Sean is an excellent server. He suggested the stuffed shrimp and crab cakes. They were delicious! For dessert we ordered The Tiramisu absolutely wonderful!

Love this place! We were visiting Rockwall, from out of town and couldn’t decide where to eat. We decided to stroll in here and surprisingly, no wait! We were seated and taken care of quickly, we had such a nice waitress (I wish I remembered her name) and she was very helpful on what to order! We got the Lobster Bisque which was so delicious we had to order another bowl. I don’t like Lobster Bisque but this one is so delicious, not fishy at all! I ordered the chicken alfredo which was so fresh and chicken grilled to perfection. Also ordered the stuffed crab on risotto which was DELICIOUS! The warm fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic is soooooo good! Will definitely come back here!!!!!

Stopped in and had a fantastic dinner with a couple friends! I enjoyed the Sole Parmasean with risotto, and it was amazing! We all enjoyed our meals and the service was great as well. We started with a shaved steak appetizer and I nearly ordered another for my dinner. I finished my meal off with a cup of coffee, and we split some tiramasu and lemoncello. Wow, you MUST stop in here!

Our experience at Giovannis was nothing short of amazing! Our waiter Sean was so sweet and caring! Best restaurant at the harbor hands down!
