My miniature poodle got a bout of severe pancreatitis and he spent five days at the Fort Worth emergency hospital and now he’s doing amazing. I am just so thankful to the caring doctors and vet assistant who helped w his recovery!! They told me there were no guarantees since it was so severe, but thank God he’s doing amazing!

My 2-year-old terrier mix woke up one morning and was paralyzed on her back side I took her in to my family vet and he referred me to The Specialist here who did emergency back surgery on my puppy and fixed her back somehow they had to go back in and tweak it a little bit but then with a lot of physical therapy at home my little puppy was walking again and she's 5 years old and she still walking and running and she is as crazy as ever. Chasing the cats around and wrestling with them again. We love her to death and I can't imagine what we would have done without the wonderful staff. Thank you very much for helping our little girl Mae Mae walk again 😊😇

Absolutely amazing team! Extremely kind & fast service. We were in with our boy cat who was having stomach issues, and even with a busy lobby they made sure to have multiple techs check in with us. They also gave us options for what we needed, without feeling pressured & went above & beyond to explain possible illnesses & treatment options. We left extremely happy & will be back if needed.

My daughter and I took her Pekingese in for an accessed anal gland. Steph was the Vet Tech that worked with us and she was Phenomenal. Dr Anna was the vet that cared for our fur baby and she was great. The Hospital was clean. The office staff were friendly and welcoming. The procedures, needed treatment, estimated cost of care and discharge instructions were well explained and thorough. Overall cost was very reasonable.
The following day, staff from the hospital called to check on her....the added touch of care that made us glad we went there.

When my pup started vomiting at 4am I called and was told they had a lot of patients and they referred me to 2 other emergency clinics that could maybe get me in sooner. After just not vibing with the other clinics, I called back and Miranda F to the rescue! She is so knowledgeable and knew just what to ask and told me to bring him in. We arrived shortly before shift change and she told the Tech that she had already set up for x-rays and blood collection and they quickly took him back. When I met with the Vet, she showed me the tests they ran and where he had tested positive (twice) for Parvo. I left him there and ALL the staff from the Techs to the Vets were so great in keeping us informed and even said he was doing so much better that he could probably come home the next day if everything kept going well. Mr. Beans had other plans…around 4am the following morning after they had just checked on our sleeping angel, he managed to get around the cone and access his IV line and eat it! The Vet called immediately and we discussed the next steps of watching, hoping, and praying that it would pass out of his stomach without the need of scoping or surgery. Thankfully by the next day it had moved thru and we could go pick him up. They even cheered once we got him home and I called to report that he pooped and the tubing came out! I can’t say enough thanks to all who helped us get our boy back home even though we secretly think he likes all the attention he gets and eats stupid stuff so he can go back. Thankfully I do have pet insurance but emergency veterinary care is costly and justifiably so. These people work 24/7, 365 days a year and are not there just giving vaccines or check-ups…they are providing critical care for animals that can’t communicate their needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

Unfortunately our dog Pacha had terminal cancer and had to be put to sleep Christmas morning. It was heart wrenching but the staff made everything as pleasant as possible. We had no wait time and were placed in a clean room where the vet was able to do the job quickly and peacefully. I appreciate their level of service at such a difficult time.

Welcoming and helpful staff greet you when you arrive. Our Cat Willy was an emergency, and taken back right away. While Willy was seeing the Doctor, I was led into a comfortable room, given cold water, and was treated compassionately by Steph, a phenomenal Vet Tech. Steph asked questions and listened patiently. I recommend this animal hospital highly, and would give them more than 5 stars if I could. It's truly the place you want to take a pet you love.

Rushed our 11 year old Yorkie, Coco, here after he was viciously attacked in our yard, on a leash, by a neighbors dog that had gotten out. The techs and vets were so caring and compassionate of Coco and us. Unfortunately, after emergency surgery and ICU care, his injuries were just too severe for his survival. Me and my wife, Dianne would like to think everyone for all their support, help and compassion during all of this. Bless everyone who helped us through this awful time.

Last night, we were concerned that our little Shih Tzu had ingested some pesticides or was choking on something. I called up to the ER first, and Miranda answered the phone very kindly. She was the only one working the front desk so she had to put me on a brief hold to answer another call to tell them to be on hold. But she apologized and was very professional about it. She informed me of most of the common costs ahead of time and told me there may be a wait.

We went up there and was immediately greeted by Miranda. She got all of our information and called the vet tech up to grab our little Ruthie and she was taken back within three or four minutes of us arriving. Within about five or six minutes we were given a room to wait for feedback. Within about 10 minutes of being in the room, another vet tech came in to get more information from us. She was very kind and professional. She informed us that we were just waiting on the doctor to examine our puppy. About 10 or 15 minutes after that, she came back into the room to update us and said that Ruthie was just sitting in her kennel with her in and was not showing any signs of distress like she had been before we brought her in. She appeared happy and was wagging her tail. She said we are welcome to wait for the doctor to examine her but the doctor had determined that there were other patients that needed her attention more immediately. She said that we could also take Ruthie and watch her overnight. If there were any concerns the next morning we could bring her back to the ER or take her to our normal vet. Because it was an emergency room, and we knew there were a lot of sickness going around, we took our dog back home.

When we were checking out, they were not going to charge us anything because our dog was not examined by the doctor. I had offered to pay something since they had still taking her back, but they did not want to charge us anything.

From Miranda upfront to go to the vet techs that we visited with, Everyone was very professional and kind. I have read several of the negative reviews, and in no way that we experience What those customers said. I feel it is important as a customer who brought their daughter and her young Shih Tzu to this emergency room, to share my positive experience. It is completely understanding that customers and staff may express emotions when they’re dealing with a challenging or sad situation with an animal. Please remember to give the staff grace grace if they aren’t as spunky as Chick-fil-A employees.

This place is amazing. They were able to get my old weenie dog in for an exam right away when she started showing signs of nausea and discomfort. She’s 18 so anything can be a big problem potentially. Everyone at the front were very nice, the vet tech was friendly and super helpful, and the vet was able to answer some questions for me about her health and long term care. Overall a great experience.

Ft Worth Animal Emergency took care of our most beloved pup, Poppy. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our precious girl but the staff were so incredibly kind and compassionate. I’ll forever be grateful for the humanity and decency shown to our family on one of the worst days of our lives. May God bless each of you for doing such hard and heartbreaking work.

I can not say enough good things about this hospital. Thursday evening we brought our boy in as he was in critical condition unable to breathe on his own. Dr Anna and her staff scooped him up as soon as we walked in the doors and got treatment started immediately upon arrival. The front desk was so very caring and empathetic as I was in an absolute panic covered in my dogs vomit. Dr Anna saved my sweet boys life and I will forever be so grateful. They worked with our budget and took the best care of our baby for the 24 hours he was in their care. I recommend anyone in an emergency to go to FWAEH they will take the best care of your babies! He is now home and should make a full recovery! Thank you to everyone at this place who helped our sweet baby.

First time coming here today, and respectfully, hopefully the last.

Dr. Bierwiaczonek is AWESOME! First emergency situation with any of our pets..

She assessed our pupper, and let us know what was going on with him, and even said X-rays are not needed, so no sense in charging us for them!

The staff was amazing, no one ever “plans” on coming to a vet hospital, so was very emotional when we brought him in. They did not judge, or give us the runaround, and were taken care of quickly.

At the end, left with peace of mind, and instructions to research the issue, and to follow up with our regular vet.

Wish I could give 5 more stars, great place. ☺

I just had to post this, I called early this morning with a concern about my dog and Zack answered the phone. When I tell you my anxiety was on level 10, he really helped me to calm down and answered all of my questions and concerns. Zack stayed on the phone with me for over a hour until I felt comfortable. I really appreciate him and its workers like him that make establishments great.

I highly recommend this clinic for animal emergency care. The staff make you feel they care about all the animals that come through the door. They are very thorough with their diagnosis and discharge instructions. You leave the clinic with everything written out so you can reference the instructions later. The clinic is also very good at keeping their services reasonably priced.

I will forever be grateful for the staff in this hospital who played a part in saving my puppies life. Everyone that I was in contact with has been so helpful and kind to my sweet puppy and hopefully now, with their help, he will live a long and healthy life. I will say it is on the pricier side but considering that it is an emergency hospital that is open 24 hours that is to be expected. I opted to have my puppies surgery elsewhere due to pricing but even still they have continued to check in and make sure my puppy is getting the care that he needs! Thank you for all that you do from me and Ripley!

Hi my name is JD. Today, my wife and I had to put down our champion Lousiana red bone blood hound. We didn’t see it coming and it happened all real fast. We were obviously very sad and distraught. The staff (all of them, nurses, doctor and intake folks) were beyond amazing. They treated our baby boy in the most kind way and they were so compassionate. I wished i got their names because I would like to give them praise. They also focused on us as well and served as therapists. Thank ya’ll for making a very tough situation as comfortable as possible. Ya’lls work and compassion is exceptional.
