Visited this location, before heading back to Dallas. Very nice little shop with the sweetest lady. They have ice cream, drinks, candies, conchas, and so much more. There’s so many flavors to choose from, and the lady was kind enough to be patient and answer any questions we had.

The shops is indeed small. 3-4 people seemed okay. But when more individuals entered, including families, it was very tight. Not really much room to enter, order, and exit. So be mindful of peak hours, if you don’t know what to order or need time/space to think. They accept card and cash (preferably smaller notes like $10/$5/$1s)

The customer service was so wonderful and the food was so delicious, we went back inside 3/4 times to order more. Money well spent on quality!

The vanilla concha’s were soft and so sweet! Loved the mazapan ice cream(if you love peanut or nutty ice cream, it’s heavenly) and even bought a few candies for the road. The Aguas frescas were so delicious and the horchata too.

This is definitely a little shop that feeds every sugar craving! It’s also a gift shop and convenience store for snacks, sodas, and little souvenirs.

Such a nice shop. The mango/chamoy/lime mangonada was simply amazing - sour, sweet, spicy. It took a bit of time to make, but that explains how good it was, and done with care. Shop owner was so friendly and explained all of the products they carry. Definitely worth repeat visits to try different items.

Perfect place for a stop in EADO if you’re craving a little sweetness.
The name says it all, sweets & small treats & gifts.
The magonada really was delicious.

I had just eaten at Monchys tacos across the street when and wanted to take my kids for some ice cream. Not a Baskin Robbins fan but a place called Treats of Mexico definitely sounds like my kind of place. This place doesn't have your average "vanilla" flavors. They have choices like chocolate abuelita, arroz con Leche, and the Concha sandwich. Its exactly what you think it is. Its a concha (Mexican pastry) with your flavor of ice cream inside the concha. I did try 3 flavors of ice cream. Chocolate abuelita, fresas con crema and galletas ( cookies and cream). Each scoop came with a wafer cookie that pairs with your ice cream. I love to support local establishments. Treats of Mexico is an awesome , affordable ice cream shop. Go pay them a visit and show some Htown love.

Great little place! Good assortment of mexican candy and other goodies. The chamollada, prepared bag of chips and the ice cream were the best. Great costumer service and extremely helpful. But Be worn No restrooms in this little gem, but you are kindly sent to Bohemios.

Amazing spot for Mexican elote (corn in a cup). They have the option of authentic white corn and yellow corn as well. It was amazing and spicy, how I like it, but they do offer mild and medium. I enjoyed it with a Mexican bottled Coke. They sell a variety of Mexican chips, candies, drinks and artisan crafts. I also had some chicharrones (wheat puffs) with salsa San Luis and finished off with a scoop of Chocolate Abuelita Ice Cream which comes accompanied by a wafer cookie. Highly recommend and will be back!

Some of the best ice cream in Houston can be found at this family-owned business. The owners here are incredibly nice and their selection of treats is varied and delicious! The tamarindo garrafa with chamoy and Tajín are my favorite.

This little shop is nestled right in the heart of an awesome local shopping center with a lot of unique shops. We gave the almond mocha ice cream a try which was absolutely delicious. It came with a big chocolate wafer stuck in the scoop. We also tried the pineapple shaved ice which was like frozen pineapple shaved, it was also delicious and a delightful way to escape this Houston heat even for just a few minutes. I also was able to snag a few bags of Doritos from Mexico and next time plan on getting an Alebrije for my collection. Definitely a must if you are in the area!

This place is a little bit hard to find, but so worth it! It's a couple doors down from the Imperial Bakery. Such a cute place with a lot of handmade novelties and candies from Mexico. The ice cream is delicious and unique - I love that you can get it served in conchas! We will definitely come back next time we are in Houston.
