Terra at Piney Point Apartments

I have lived here for about 10 months and have recently renewed my lease for another year! I will give an overview of the last year giving the pros and the cons.

Pros: Management is excellent in maintaining the property by upgrading small fixtures around the community and outside the units. Last year they renovated the pool, upgraded all the light fixtures outside of the buildings and on everyone's patio, and added electric vehicle charging stations. Maintenance is very attentive and resolves issues promptly and are all very friendly and helpful. Despite being close to Westheimer it is a pretty quiet community. You will hear the occasional racers down the road and the sirens but the neighbors and community itself are quite safe and peaceful. There is security that patrols late at night and into the early morning and will sit in front of the main gate. I feel very safe walking my dog late at night within the community gates.

Cons: Some neighbors are not that great as they are often inconsiderate with parking. Parking close or near your building is scarce which I know is typical for most apartments. It is not assigned and is first- first-come-first-serve and you’ll often have to park a little further and walk which is completely fine. However, you will find some of your neighbors parked crooked, very close to the line, and even completely over the line. Many residents often park in the electric vehicle parking when they clearly do not have an EV. The community for the most part is clean. However, some people don’t pick up after their pets and some don’t pick up their trash scattered around the property. Now despite this, you will often see maintenance constantly cleaning around picking up the trash inside and even outside the gates of the community which is very much appreciated!!

Overall, I still want to give this community 5 stars because I have truly loved living here. All the cons are not at the fault of the property or management themselves.

Staff are very professional, they are very thorough giving you instructions about parking, and amenities. My place was clean and ready to move in as scheduled. It’s a beautiful complex, quiet, clean, and well maintained. 💕

Living at Terra at Piney Point continues to be a great experience four years in. My wife and I have found the complex to be extremely pleasant and well-kept. You can really tell a lot of care goes into keeping the area clean and presentable, which we really appreciate.

I want to particularly shine a light on the maintenance team. Obviously when you live in an apartment for a few years, some issues are going to pop up from time to time. Terra's maintenance team, however, has taken care of our needs very quickly and efficiently. Most of the time, we have our issues fixed by the next day, if not that same day. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to live in the area.

The complex is amazing. I have just moved in and am fascinated. Every thing looks like as in the pictures (environment, pool area, fitness room etc.). The apartment is really nice, clean and comfortable. The office team is highly supportive and professional. On the first day, I had a hot water problem in the bathroom and it was resolved right away. EJ is the agent who took care of my contract and move in affairs. He is super friendly, supportive, organized and competent. Thank you so much EJ!

I have visited this community many times in the past. I now have the wonderful opportunity to call it home. The grounds are kept up nicely. The community is very quiet and welcoming. Parking is a plenty. The amenities are fabulous…. I mean the pool just pulls you in to relax and forget about your troubles. And last but not least is the management team. Never have I seen a team get involved with the tenants like they do here. They are extremely nice and will assist you when the needs arise. If you’re looking for a new home, you found it!!!

My move in went smoothly , the front office explained everything to me and were very patient as I read through everything. I also loved how quick maintenance came to sort out the items I listed needed fixing in my apartment on my move in list … literally they came the next day . The whole process has been stress free .Shoutout to EJ , He has been really helpful throughout the process .

I have been residing in these apartments for 2-3 years and can say that the community is great and I have always felt safe. Maintenance always readily takes care of any issues and management is also always ready to help with concerns

I have been living there for almost 5 years... Nice place to live with a great and awesome team to interact with. From Maintenance to Security Guard at night to the office's management team, they are all great and terrific. I cannot stop expressing my gratitude to each one of them. I will definitely recommend this place.

The community is kept clean and the staff is friendly. There were some issues with the gate, but new management updated the system and now its more secure. They are quick to respond to any maintenance issues.The management takes our safety seriously and also hosts community events for staff. Overall, I do like living here.

The property manager and the staff are hard workers. They are very helpful. When you need something fix it is fix right away. The property is very clean and nice. Super quiet place to live. We have a security guard walking around property every night to make sure we are safe. I would definitely recommend to live here

Best residential ever. Very sound, affordable, and beautiful. Cutting edge security has to be my favorite part. The safety of my wife and kids and very important to me.

I just signed a lease with Terra, we had came back after evaluating all other options around this area. Management is astounding! They are very timely and showed us great hospitality. Their lot is beautiful and modern, I cannot wait to move in on March. Everything is clean and renovated. Absolutely gorgeous, exactly what we wanted. Thank you to Jenny and Ej for being so wonderful with us!

We just moved this week and we are in love with our apartment. EJ made all the process of applying and gathering all our documents very smooth. We really hope is this our home for a long time. The complex feels safe, quiet and luxurious. The facility is clean, parking is easy and we are looking forward to invite our friends to do a BBQ in that wonderful oak tree area.

Management is constantly improving.
We now have speed bumps allover the community.
EJ and Jenni are super helpful and always ready to assist when needed.
Would definitely recommend this apartment complex toy friends.

I love the apt. The realtor name Robert that works there was awesome and helped me every step of the way. Very polite and answered all my questions in a fast timely manner since we doing everything through text. That guy was truly a Godsend and I appreciate this Apartment has him apart of their company. The place is beautiful and so relaxing and I’m just feel blessed to be here 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This place is great. I've lived here 3 years. It's quiet, neighbors are nice and friendly. The pool is always clean and they do a great job keeping the complex clean. It's a few minutes away from just about anything you need.

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 young kids. We have lived at Terra for the past 2 years in a 3 bedroom apartment. We chose this complex over others with parks/playgrounds because it seemed safer, and we have NEVER regret it. Robert, EJ, and Jennifer have always been responsive, and have done an excellent job keeping up the complex. Work orders we submit have always been responded to within 24 hours, even when they aren't anything emergent. There are lots of parks/playgrounds/libraries in the immediate area to take our kids to. Our suggestion to other families is to choose an apartment on either the 1st or 2nd floor, but not the 3rd (tackling all those steps especially with young kids and all their stuff has been challenging). We wholeheartedly recommend Terra at Piney Point, and we are grateful for our past 2 years here.

I had an amazing touring experience with Jenyfer. I wish we decided to lease here, but the distance from where we worked didn't work out in the end.
She was so patient in answering all the questions we had, the floor plans we saw were spacious and homey. I really loved everything there is!

My husband and I were looking for an apartment within a short time frame. The leasing agent, EJ, was extremely courteous and went over and beyond to assist us with the application process and was very helpful. The homes are beautiful and affordable. I would definitely recommend.
