Mama's Family Cafe

Loved having Sunday breakfast at mama's! Great sweet tea and friendly atmosphere, will have me coming back often. Certainly worth any drive from surrounding city's. Check hours of operation before heading out and be ready to feast on some down home cooking!

Service was good and pleasant. We ordered mama's skillet. Potatoes were alittle hard but the portion and flavor was delicious.

WOW! This cafe is the best kept secret in Texas! We visited the cafe for the first time today, and it want be our last. Our breakfast arrived hot and fresh, and had the best flavor. The homemade salsa is a must try. Our server was friendly and cared about how the food arrived, and how we liked everything, honestly one of the best waitress I have ever had. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone, because this is the best in Hunt and surrounded counties. We drove from Wills Point, and we will make the drive again.

What a nice little place! The waiting staff are friendly. We sat in the back room (smoking section). It is cash only, but they have an ATM on site. The prices are very affordable! The portions are large and we leave with to go boxes. We definitely enjoy coming here when we pass through from out of town.

Great diner. Wife had eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy. I had an egg, pancakes and sausage. Great food. Service was quick and friendly.

Everything is great here! We absolutely love Mama's cafe! We always sit in Mama's section and she takes great care of us. We are greeted with a hug when we enter and a hug when we leave. Treats us like family. That's all just a plus to the wonderful food.

An enjoyable breakfast. First time there, and will be back. It's a cash only establishment but LOVE that an ATM is right there! That's smart business🙂

Best pancakes I ever tasted. I get them with chocolate chips. Waitress is the mom of the man who owns it. She is a sweetheart.

Chicken fried steak at breakfast is well worth a trip! All good food but that steak is art. Yes, it may be old fashion but hard to find really done well. Go get you one!

They have the absolute best chicken fried steak I have tasted since 2004! Their breakfast is awesome too.
Don't pass them up, you will regret it after you do stop. I admit that I did.

Absolutely delicious. We’ve been wanting a breakfast place to open up that’s worth it, & this is worth it. Super friendly staff, clean building, phenomenal food. Fresh & homemade is the way to go, & they’re doing it right. If you’re extra hungry, try the mamas skillet. Bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, scrambled eggs, all piled high topped with gravy ($8.75). So much food, we couldn’t eat it all!

My husband and I went today for the first time and everything was great, they food was amazing, very good price, and the staff is super friendly!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

We had breakfast on this St. Patty’s Day morning. The food was cooked to perfection as we ordered. The waitstaff was very pleasant and attentive. I loved the Coca Cola decor! I recommend this place, and will eat here again when we visit Quinlan in May.

Wow! What an improvement!! The new management has made this a go to place for breakfast or lunch!! Quality of the food is amazing. Service is impeccable. Bonus: completely separate smoking section!!
