We are season ticket holders for the St Louis Cardinals, and often stay downtown. This was our first stay here and we were pleasantly surprised by our wonderful stay. While we didn't have a great view from our room and next time we will ask for a room higher up, we were treated with a positive attitude. We stayed 2 nights and anything we asked for was taken care of immediately and a smile. They offered a yummy breakfast. The lobby and rooms were clean and bright. We will definitely be back. Loved the history of the building and friendliness of the staff.

We stayed here for two nights during our family vacation. We did utilize the valet parking which, for us, was worth the cost. Our one bedroom suite was perfect for our needs and when we needed bedding for the sofa bed, staff brought it up promptly. We found all of the staff friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning had a good selection and the coffee was better than most you’d find at a free hotel breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who is needing to stay downtown St Louis!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Home2 Suites and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, Del and Henry went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their exceptional customer service truly stood out. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. I left too early to enjoy breakfast, but there appeared to be plenty of options to enjoy. The coffee was strong and was a good kickstart to my day. Overall, I highly recommend Home2 Suites in downtown St. Louis for their outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. I’d also like to shout-out Charlotte for her hard work in making sure the hotel lobby is welcoming and spotless. Thank you, Del, Henry, and Charlotte, for making my stay memorable!

Overall great stay, rooms were clean. The breakfast was wonderful.
There was no notification about the parking situation before hand, which is pretty much valet or on street parking parking. The staff was exceptional, except the night shift front desk. Overall would stay again.

Room was beautiful, clean and you could tell relatively new... parking was somewhat a challenge but really no big deal. Security was on property and at front door so definitely didn't feel unsafe. Breakfast in the morning was good. Coffee was great! Will definitely stay here again 4 sure! Great location for downtown St. Louis events!

I was very hesitant to stay here due to the horrible reviews. However, I have came to the conclusion that the negative reviews are past customers seeking a free room and/or complain about everything.
We checked in this past Tuesday, checked out this morning, and stayed on the 5th floor. Check in process was fast. The hotel is in a restored building that is still being renovated. Our room was clean and very modern. Only complaint was that there were no additional blankets, sheets, or pillows for the pull out sofa in the room. (Front desk staff/security fixed that quickly) Just like mentioned before, you're in a city with all kinds of people. The staff at this hotel were so kind and very welcoming. (Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff). Security also was very observant and the valet parking staff were always available when needed. Hotel location is 15 minutes walking distance to the arch, 10 minutes to the city museum, and lots of good restaurants a block away. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and recommend giving this hotel a shot! Will definitely be back again!

The negative reviews of this hotel are ridiculous. The hotel is in an old, restored building and it is WONDERFUL! It's very clean and modern. It is walking distance to so many places including the Enterprise Center. You can easily park on the street instead of the valet to save some money. And yes, you are in a metropolitan city, so you will see all kinds of people! I would absolutely stay here again. The location is great!

We checked in very easily. The valet was a bit expensive, but the service was good, so we overlooked it at the end. The rooms were comfortable, but the sofa bed hit the desk that was in front of it, so in order to pass from the bed to the restroom, you had to crawl over the extended sofa bed. The restroom was spacious clean. The location was great. There's restaurants within walking distance and not far from major sites.

The hotel is in the old shell building, and Hilton did a nice job of preserving the old architecture while updating the building. The rooms are nice and exactly what I would expect from a Home2 (kitchenette, nice bathroom, couch, and bed). Though hilton uses digital key, you'll still need a physical key for the power in the room so make sure to snag one on the way in. This is a great place to stay if seeing a show at enterprise center. The walk from the show to the hotel was about 10min, well lit, and many other people were walking that way.

Located in Downtown St. Louis, this hotel has lots to offer. The rooms have all the necessities you need. The breakfast is spectacular, and there's also a gym. I definitely enjoyed my stay at Home2 Suite By Hilton in Downtown St. Louis.

So... I booked a room here without reading reviews, just based on proximity to enterprise center. I read the reviews after and was concerned.

Ended up being fine.

Valet parking is imo pretty overpriced, but I knew this going in, and can't really complain too much as this was listed on the site when I booked.

The staff was great. I've no idea if so many bad reviews mentioning staff had brought about changes, or what, but they were exceptionally pleasant to deal with.

I didn't encounter many homeless. Not really sure why, the library is right across the street. Pretty common for homeless to congregate near those in large cities. Sure, there were some, but not many, and none bothered me.

Very easy walk from the hotel to enterprise... So that was terrific.

Water was pleasant enough for a shower so no issue there.

The elevators are old and so kinda act wonky but got us up and down just fine.

The breakfast did absolutely suck. There was plenty of everything. Just none of it was great. The eggs are something like eggbeaters, and bland. Pretty much what you expect from any hotel breakfast. The sausage was... IDK what that was. Very very bland. Turkey maybe? The coffee was hot, and there were plenty of those flavored intentional delights creamer cups. Nothing great, but enough to get something in your stomach and send you down the road

Absolutely would be my choice of lodging for an enterprise center event again

Genuinely don't know why this hotel has such low ratings from some guests, I've had an amazing time here. It's conveniently located, the staff has been helpful and friendly, my room was impeccable and spacious, and while I don't rate based on breakfast options I gotta say the breakfast was generous, prompt, and surprisingly tasty.

There are quirks about the hotel that a few other reviewers mentioned. The hallways aren't dirty, but the lobbies right outside of the elevator on guest floors are pretty scuffed up, which can be surprising when you first go up to your room. There isn't a parking garage and yes valet is expensive, but seriously, there's SO much street parking. I got the ParkMobile app (the meter app for all of St. Louis) and set it up with my payment information ahead of time and everything went smoothly, even on a game night. I was able to park by the cathedral next door my whole stay.

They do get overbooked and apparently can cancel your reservation if you're running late. I've never stayed at a hotel with that policy before, but I'd read that it happened to a few other guests (legitimately that does suck and I feel for the guests who didn't know that ahead of time). I wound up running very late, and was glad I read the reviews, because I called the hotel on my way into the city and was able to check in over the phone and keep my reservation.

The people saying it's in a bad part of town - it's not. When I was walking around I noticed that there are some huge condemned buildings in downtown St. Louis, like the biggest (and most beautiful!) condemned buildings I've ever seen in a downtown. Apparently there have been some series of sales and holdings and economic events that have made it difficult to develop those buildings. But the rest of downtown is really nicely developed, and this hotel is 1) a decent walk from those buildings and 2) right next to a church and the central library, come on LOL. It was incredibly easy to get anywhere in the city and I never once felt the least bit threatened or unsafe.

St. Louis is a beautiful city, so happy I got to visit, and I'll definitely be returning to this hotel!

All of the hotel staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was big, clean, and quiet.

Be aware that the hotel doesn’t have it own parking lot. They do offer valet parking for a fee. There is also metered parking along the street. Metered parking is free on the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay!

Conveniently located downtown to a fair amount of dining and entertainment options. I'd recommend that you have your food delivered by doordash or grubhub rather than walk around the area. There are alot of people just loitering around at night. The hotel is very nicely appointed, rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Staff at the front were very friendly and accommodating. Dale was very helpful. Breakfast is your typical fare: scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage patties, cereal, waffles, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, etc. There's a pool table and lots of seating in the lobby. I think the hotel manager may want to have maintenance look at the door in room 216 because it takes a bit of effort to open and close and may be out of alignment. That may be a challenge for some folks. Other than that, this was a great stay at another Hilton branded property. Thanks.

I had an entirely different experience than these other reviews. My room was ready immediately upon arrival. Online it does state that valet parking is $45 a day. So I prepared in advance for that. The breakfast was subpar but everything else was great. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely return

Stayed here for work with family. Honestly the hotel was great overall. The only reason the location received 4 stars and not 5, is because the area is filled with homeless and some questionable activity. If you can look past that you'll notice that the area is surrounded by beautiful 19th century architecture. There are some great places to see and visit as far as attractions and places to eat that are all within walking distance. My favorite part of the stay was the view from the room which was directly across the catholic church. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Great rooms, quick valet service, excellent customer service all around. The only things I would change are more vegan options at breakfast, have all ingredients listed on the foods at breakfast, and vacuum the vents in the room (they were dusty).
