I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged 7$ and an extra 2 dollars twice on top of paying the initial fee 39.99 and 29.99 for 4 earpiercings. I was not sure why. I recall an item that said 4 $ on the package my receipt showed I was charged 18.99. Earing in that site are very expensive. The people are amazing though who work there.

Very cheap quality. The earring posts discolor within a few days leaving your earholes gray and the clutch backs turn green, and I personally find them uncomfortable. I've worn cheaper earrings that were better quality. Not worth the money. Also, the payment system at the store was super slow and we had to wait a while for it to be ready for us to pay.

First and last time to walk in.

I picked out three items and went to checkout with my toddler. The woman took payment and asked for my email. I told her I didn’t give it out and asked if she could put the receipt in the bag. She said the only way to get a receipt is to provide an email address. I tried to tell her I don’t give out personal info for purchases and she said that she wouldn’t be giving me a receipt then. I told her I needed proof of purchase and she just kept regurgitating the same thing. No receipt without an email address. I asked her “what if I don’t have an email address?” She said “then you don’t get a receipt.” By now, my toddler is screaming because he can sense the emotions and she’s just telling me to leave so she can check out a guest. I told her I am not leaving with this unresolved but she was hopeful I would considering how upset she was making my kid. She took the next guest as I stood there embarrassed about this situation she’s made for me. She then said her receipt paper ran out. So I said it would be okay if she hand wrote a receipt, as long as I had proof of purchase. She said no. I then asked her to cancel the sale since she couldn’t provide a receipt. She said she wouldn’t. I asked for a refund, she said no.

I was stuck in that store being held hostage by this woman. She had LONG since put my bag of purchases under the cabinet that kept the register. I told her I had no choice but to reverse the charges. She then said I was committing fraud!!!!! if I went through with that!! I cannot make this up. I was humiliated in front of these other guests. I proceeded to call my bank, she said “good luck, you paid with debit”. USAA reversed the “pending” on the payment and declined the charges for me before we left.

I’m so thankful that they did and I’ll never go back. What an horrible experience.

Texas Business and Commerce Code - BUS & COM § 601.052 states:
“(a) A merchant must provide a consumer with a complete receipt or copy of a contract pertaining to the consumer transaction at the time of its execution.”
