Jim's a nice guy and more than that, he runs a really great shop. He's had what I needed, on hand, at prices that beat Amazon repeatedly. Just went in today and the service is top-shelf, too. This is one of those stores you look forward to going into. Told him today: it's like a toy store only for big kids.

The best customer service ever! They will work enthusiastically with beginners who wants to further their craft. The prices are unbeatably reasonable with no high pressure sales people. They are so passionate and knowledgeable. I drive an hour each way and it’s more than worth the trip.

This shop is more for the equipment needed to make jewelry. That being said, they have so much available including display and packaging items and a small selection of beads and findings. The prices are very competitive and Jim is very helpful. They have a workshop area and small group classes.

My husband and I recently picked up the jewelry hobby. We had ordered some items online, but decided to drive across the metro area to see items in person at Jemco. I'm so glad we did. We've been twice in the last two weeks to pick up supplies and attended their "Soldering 101" class with an amazing professional jeweler. It was a really fun day date for us! I took my first beading class (Basic Beading) and I learned so much from Sondra. YouTube channels, that I have watched, will get you up and running quickly but miss on key points that would separate hobbyist from those who are interested in making a consistent income from jewelry making.
The owner was also helpful and accommodating, which is becoming more rare.
I have already signed up for my next class.

This place is magic. The ultimate resource for jewelry makers and metal workers. Beads, chains, hammers, stones, vices, polishing compounds, the works. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. I highly recommend you stop in!
