Jerusalem Halal Meats

One thing that make this place unique, is that you will find random things you may have difficulty finding elsewhere. This place may not be the cleanest, but the customer service is five stars. I have been coming to this place since 1999, almost 23 years. This place has never changed much, but the love for organic and authentic olives or olives oil, dry seeds, and fruit may be the reason I love this place. They have a restaurant in the back if you like grabbing food while shopping. Overall the prices are reasonable compared to other halal stores, and this is another factor that makes this place so attractive.

Chicken Meat here is second to none in Houston. Its fresh and doesn't smell, unlike other stores.

I was getting tired of trying other places. Happy I tried Jerusalem meats.

This is for the RESTAURANT inside the grocery store. One of the best meals I’ve had! I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always delicious. Ayman and team are friendly and gruff in their own way. They treat you like family, good or bad! The lamb chops, the spicy chicken, special shawarma, falafel, and even the house yogurt are made to delight the tastebuds.

This is a classic hole-in-the-Wall restaurant and it’s no secret. Most middle eastern and south Asian folks know this place very well!

Jerusalem is the original middle Eastern grocery store in Houston. While a little overwhelming with a maze of shelves that can feel claustrophobic, it is still a great store. You should also double-check the expiration dates on items. The highlights include the on-site butcher, halal meat and probably the best shawarma restaurant in Houston that is hidden away in the back of the store.

The store has improved a lot over time. Used to be very poorly organised before and hard to shop. Now it is much better!

They have a huge varieties of items. Their beef and baby chicken are very good. The store is jam-packed with items.

It is a nice place for Halal shopper(Islamic shoper). They have middle Eastern, Asian and African food items, Meat and many more

Goat chicken let (20 pieces ) and 30 burgers. Highly quality meat easy quick marination bbq.

They have alot to offer, fresh foods and also kitchen appliances, decorations, and foods hard to find Mediterranean ingredients

Jerusalem Halal Meats offers great quality meats at affordable prices. The staff provides excellent customer service and are always willing to help you find what you need. I was impressed by how fresh the meats were, and the variety they had available. The cuts of meat were of good quality, and the store was clean and well-maintained.

Additionally, they have a wide selection of halal meats which is great for people with dietary restrictions. The prices were also very reasonable, making it a great place to buy fresh meat without breaking the bank.

NO SMELL!!! And delicious shish kabob with hummus in the restaurant hidden in the back. People eating feasts of cooked meats by all nationalities. Chilled drinks from all over the world. My glass bottles Coke didn’t last long. So good. The grocery store has many items. Besides meat and fresh veggies, you’ll find spices and a worldwide abundance of canned and jarred specialties. Many interesting items. In the same strip center is a Mediterranean bakery very good and a King Dollar, my favorite $ store. Make a day of it! Good, tasty and fun!

If you're looking for top quality spices for the best price in town, if you like really fresh meat, then stop looking and go there. The place looks a little like a Calcutta flea market, but it's definitely worth going there.
Also, they have the most interesting assortment of shopping carts. You'll see carts from Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Dollar Tree and others lol

My in laws had me try cookies they ate all the time in Jerusalem and finally I found them here in Houston at this store. Couldn't remember which box so I had to get all of 3 brands to try, it isn't the same as the American marshmallow cookies at all these are made different and 3 second in a microwave or leave in a sun lit window seal a while and oh man awesome. Friendly staff, but I definitely felt like a tourist and will prolly bring one of my in laws as they are very fluent in Arabic.

This store has everything that need a variety of middle Eastern food and spices, the place is well organized and the products are very accessible to find out!

If you hadnt eaten here you are missing out. Too notch excellent quality great tasing food! Charcoal grilled lamb chops and chicken tawook next level. We also had chicken samosa kunafa and hummus it was excellent

They got all kinds of cuts and fresh goat meat.
