Sherman Bible

I have attended Church and known of Jesus my whole life, but it was not till I heard the true Gospel here at Sherman Bible where I am taught the truth of the Gospel what scripture says and am feed the word every Sunday. I am beyond grateful to God that has placed me in a true biblical church with leaders that are not afraid to preach pure truth of the bible the living word of God.

Incredible first visit to Sherman Bible. My wife and I were impressed with the Pastors clear, accurate teaching of the Word while listening to a message for her Seminary program. Realizing it was only 30 minutes from our new home (just relocated and it's time to find a new church home we can grow roots with), we decided to check it out.

Worship was pleasant - not overbearing, loud or concert like but also not underwhelming. A little volume wouldn't of hurt, but overall the worship was a great time to forget about the people around us and lift our hearts to the Lord.

The message, on the other hand, was anything but laid back, luke-warm baby food. Pastor Steve LeBlanc is gifted when it comes to expounding on the Word, clarifying it's context and relating it to our modern lives. He does add to nor take away from the word and he doesn't preach any name-it-and-claim it gospel of the Big Hair Channel ministries. He simply preachers the Word, loud and clear and in a way that anyone - be it layman or scholar - can both appreciate and understand.

Most importantly, he broke the passages (from Micah) down into digestible sizes and as well as had recommended points to take away and apply the purpose of the message. It was relevant, accurate and spoke to our hearts.

We have enjoyed attending SBC since moving to Lake Texoma. The Youth Ministry is thriving. The sermons on Sunday are packed with Scripture. Truly are learning more and more about Knowing God and sharing Him with others.

This is the greatest church I have ever attended. Fun for the entire family! They have such a wonderful message of Christ and how He is the purpose to life! Glory to God the highest! The kids love the children's group. All of our friends and family who have visited love it too. Try it and you will stay! We have a small Discipleship group that meets weekly at another member's home. Such a wonderful small group family! My wife and I were actually the very first couple to be married in this church!

I've really enjoyed attending service here and my son loves the Sunday School classes. They preach and live the gospel and have plenty of opportunities for theological teaching and community building.

First time I have evry been here and it is amazing. I felt very welcomed. I was greated at the front door. My wife took out son to the bathroom to change him and a lady from the church showed her a room she could use if our son got fussy during the service.

Went one Sunday a year ago and knew I had found my church home. Joined the church January of this year. Haven't been a church member since I was 19. I have gone to church for the last 38 yrs but never joined. Kept searching until now.

Fantastic BIBLE based church. The music director is truly talented! Lots of small groups. Men and women groups. Great childrens ministry. Bible based, not secular.

Pastor is hilarious and insightful. He also explains the Bible very well. Best pastor I've ever had the opportunity to see and hear.

Amazing 😉 Church. Welcoming and great worship leaders!!!! Modern approach to a changing world but guided by biblical principals and teachings!!!

The church definitely has its strong points, like the expository teaching, worship service and kids worship.
