Highly recommend. They were extremely professional and went the extra mile in our planning and gave excellent recommendations to create a memorable, smooth and beautiful service for my brother. Teresa and Stacy are extremely compassionate, provided much support and reached out regularly to not only myself but to our other family members as well. They listen and are not pushy in any direction and while every family has their own personalities, they were very quick to help us compromise and work together til the final service.

I want to sincerely thank everyone at Geo H. Lewis for the most beautiful service for my late husband. EVERY ONE was tremendous! But please allow me to give special spotlight to Jerry, my guardian angel. I don’t have enough praises to do justice for all that Jerry provided - not only in service but also in loving support. To take such a despairingly emotional process and make it actually enjoyable (even in such extreme grief) and memorable takes a lot of heart and humanity. My heartfelt gratitude to Jerry for exuding both.

Jerry, I can never thank you enough but please know you have a piece of our family’s heart for the tremendous person that you are and the amazing service that you provided to honor my husband. You didn’t go above and beyond because it was your job, you did it because you truly are present to people’s grief and loss; and that is a gift. Any place that has you under employ is lucky beyond words.

Our experience was A+ all the way through. Within an hour after receiving the news from the hospice nurse that Mother was gone Jerry Reyes, Vice President of Geo. H. Lewis, personally called to let us know they would be picking her up and she would be in their care. He was very gentle and compassionate as he told me what to expect and who our Funeral Director would be. He made me feel as though my family was his only client even though I know they have many families they are serving but he and the entire staff made us feel as though we were their top priority during this emotional and difficult time.

Jerry and his team were excellent throughout the entire process. From the planning to the execution. He turned a day that was supposed be dreadful into a beautiful funeral service and made it 100 times easier for the grieving family. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Our funeral director, Stacy Cashiola was amazing. She showed compassion and caring for our family during a difficult time with the loss of our Mother. Jerry was so kind and help ease the pain of losing a loved one. The viewing and memorial dinner was held at Geo and they were one of the most wonderful and supportive staff. Everything was done with utmost care.

Audry did a wonderful job walking my wife's family through all the options and details of the entire funeral process. She made multiple calls to arrange schedules to help to get things to meet our many needs. She was also very gracious when we determined that we could not afford the White Glove services and worked hard to help us with another funeral home reference.

Geo H Lewis and Sons did a great job in making a very difficult time less burdensome. They gave top shelf service at the highest standard and even allowed some very special requests to proceed at the service. They were great to work with.

Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors worked expeditiously and with care to provide our family a viewing that honored my dearly departed mother. The funeral director assigned to us was La'shaya. She was patient and kind in a time of much pain. They allowed me to write my own thank you card in Spanish, since my mother only spoke Spanish and I thought that would be a way to honor my mother. The flower shops that they use have beautiful flower arrangements. They have two, and we chose Mark Anthony florists on Waugh Dr. Their arrangements were gorgeous.

Everyone was very kind, thoughtful, helpful and completely professional. Answered my questions, did not try to “sell” me and made a difficult time surprisingly easy. Very grateful.

Our needs and requests during the loss of our dear brother and uncle were met with great care and the utmost professionalism. The facility is beautiful and provided a comforting setting for the visitation and memorial. Jason consistently reached out to me to ensure that everything was done as I wished...and it was! Not long ago I lost my father and during this difficult time I needed support and help with the funeral arrangements. We received the highest level of service and treatment as a family at Geo H Lewis location. The funeral director Audra Barnes was excellent, very supportive and thoughtful, she helped us with the arrangement fast and easy and then she walked us through the entire service and was extremely organized and sharp with the timing. We never had delays or any other problems. Great place and great supporting and caring staff.

Unbelievable service in a difficult time. My husband passed away suddenly in Mexico on vacation just over a year ago. I did not know any funeral homes in Houston at all, and the Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors was recommended by a friend. I cannot say enough good things about them. From the initial contact with them to every single detail during the service, they have exceeded my expectations in every respect. They helped with repatriating my husbands body from Mexico, and had someone who spoke Spanish contact us right away so that we knew exactly what was going on before we left Mexico. He dealt with the funeral home in Mexico for us. This person was available 24/7 to help us before we left. The details of the entire funeral were 1st class. Even to this day, when I email with a question, the response is very quick, and always is above and beyond what I hope for. La'shaya -who was our contact person throughout the funeral process has been amazing, and I cannot thank her enough for her kind, caring and compassionate manner. I highly recommend this place, and sincerely want to thank them for the way they handled everything. They made a very difficult time easier for us all.

Stunning facility and excellent service. My family's experience was a little over a month ago. When my mother-in-law passed we knew she would be handled by Geo. Lewis as was the same funeral home who handled my father-in-laws service, who had predeceased her. What we did not know were all the details. We were helped through the entire process by the kind professionals at Geo. Lewis. From their coming to the house and picking her up (she was on hospice care) to the choosing of everything for the service to the service itself (and afterwards) the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. I think anyone who resides in the Houston area knows the reputation of Geo. Lewis but I want to make sure everyone knows their recommendations for loved ones services are superb, up to and including items that had never even crossed our minds, like residential security while at the services, catering options to our selection, valet service at our residence the evening of our gathering. We never felt rushed or in a haste the director took his time explaining everything in great detail and the day of the service and even after during the reception the staff was very attentive to our needs and we left when we were done.

When I was going through the darkest and most difficult time of my life, George H. Lewis stepped in and handled my family with such loving care. They think of the things you have not thought about before you do. Every single detail was taken care of professionally and sensitively. The facilities are beautiful, you will not find anything better in Houston. Andrew Smeltzer is amazing, he took such good care of me and I have recommended him to many friends. The service you receive is worth more than money can buy. When you need them they are there, I highly recommend Geo. H. Lewis.

We recently worked with Jerry at Geo. H. Lewis and was blown away by his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Obviously their services are surrounding a tragic event in people's lives but Jerry did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and at ease. He anticipated our needs, his communication was intentional, and he made us feel at peace. Jerry responded to our calls, texts, and emails (of which there were many because there were 5 of us in the family reaching out to him) at all hours and never once hinted at being annoyed or bothered by our double checking details or forgetting things already discussed. The level of service provided is unmatched and I wouldn't ever think of looking at another funeral home when the need arises. After the wake service, we learned Jerry was servicing over 20 other families. We couldn't believe that he was able to provide such personal and thoughtful service to us at the same time! With how much attention he gave us, we could have sworn we were the only ones! We are forever grateful for how Jerry treated our family, and the respect he showed my dad. I would highly recommend this funeral home. We recently had services there for my son. The funeral director Andrew was amazing and he was there for us every step of the way. All of the staff were kind, caring, professional and very respectful. They gently guided us through the process and we ended up with a beautiful, personalized service. Their attention to detail made a huge difference.
