First and foremost: Deric Walpole has represented me in legal matters several times since 2014. I have never been disappointed. Only one such matter went to trial, and it is with this matter in mind that I write this review.

Deric Walpole came highly recommended by a friend who worked in the Collin County court system...I had already reached out to two 'prominent' defense attorneys prior to speaking with Mr. Walpole. I was immediately impressed with his overall demeanor and candor; however, what was most telling was his ability to articulate his understanding of what I would soon face. He was professional, listened to my concerns, took note of what was important, and helped me to understand what was not. He defended me in a bogus case (yes, bogus) that took place over four days of trial. Throughout every step of the trial, Mr. Walpole made sound decisions and presented my defense to the best of his ability.

There were so many strange coincidences and subtle nuances that occurred during the trial; however, he was never taken aback by any of them. Cool, calm, and collected: Deric Walpole was prepared for every contingency, even going so far as to draft up appeal motions for immediate submission upon a possible guilty verdict...as well as expunction requests in the event the jury returned a favorable decision. While this may sound somewhat meaningless or impertinent, it spoke to Mr. Walpole's concern for my future and for my level of anxiety...which at the time was too high to quantify.

I hope this review illustrates how fortunate I feel, almost 8 years later...and I hope it helps to assuage anybody's question about whether to seek his legal services. For me, it was a decision that literally changed the course of my life.

Sadly after such a great trial and Deric's team being great on the front end I have struggled since the case (early July 2021) to have signed documents back from the judge. His team has not communicated at all. I have about 10 emails out and additional calls but do not get a response. At this point I do not see how I will get final closure on this case.
