Fun store with many unique finds! The whole place has a retro 80s vibe, with products like candles, crystals, vintage clothing, novelty items, and all things weird and metaphysical. The owner and staff are friendly and make customers feel comfortable in their shop. A must visit for a child of the era or anyone who like one of a kind gifts! Love my Beto candle 🕯 🔮 🧿

Fantastic store with lots of fun and funny products run and staffed by amazing, inclusive people I LOVE supporting. My favorite store in downtown McKinney (which is saying a lot since the comic book store has Pancake the dog).

Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, due to its inclusive, open-minded, and live-and-let-live nature it is not frequented by hypocritical, judgemental Christofascist folks, so that makes the shopping atmosphere even better!😍

Love this store! It's my go-to for gifting that "what the heck do I give them?" person! I just bought the best smelling candle, and my son is love the Super Mario decals and coffee mug I just got him from the store. Both of my kids LOVE coming in just to play on the vintage Nintendo set that they have set up in the store. So much love and kindness in this store! One of our favorites on the square!

Super awesome store with loads of fun finds inside. Totally a unique gem in downtown, no other stores like it. Also, if you’re into vinyl, this is the place to go. New stuff all the time, “new” used vinyl always coming in, and if they don’t have something they can order it for you. If you are into more groovy and vintage antiques, rather than the usual trinkets for chalkboard painted furniture, this place is the jackpot. Lots of cool 50s-80s clothes, funky kitchen finds, and lots of awesome furniture pieces (they also get new stuff ALL THE TIME). The owners are local and it’s run by family and friends who are like family and you can definitely feel the friendly vibe whenever you are in there.

This is a super fun store. With the exception of how you pay, its authentically vintage! The music is even vinyl. The newer items still have a vintage vibe. One of the employees makes button pins. I've included lots of photos to give a great feel of the place. There's clothing, toys and kitchen items etc. This store made downtown Mckinney cool again!
I can't wait to go back and spend more time there.

I’ve been a “regular” at the Groovy Coop for years. Katie and the staff have always been fantastic. The records are my main draw, but the rest of the store is awesome, too! There’re all kinds of cool gifts and vintage tchotchkes. If the store doesn’t have it (record-wise) they’ll do their damndest to order it for you! Could not recommend this shop more, hands down my favorite spot (that doesn’t serve beer) on the Square!

Amazing store! The owner is knowledgeable, extremely friendly and the energy is incredibly positive!!! I love her book choices, stones and her vintage side is rad. My new addiction!

Was on vacation and stopped in while window shopping. Great little place. Felt like my home town Portland OR. Found some neat treasures to give as gifts and reminders of our vacation. If you're looking for one of a kinds and unique gifts or treasures this is definitely the place. Would be great for birthday gifts or stocking stuffers for Christmas.

Find the best vintage finds, expensive though. Trendy place for trendy items. Recommend for teens and young adults and vintage collectors

This place was awesome, especially if you're a fan of the 80s! Lots of cool stuff! Lots of "Oh man! I remember...!" Never thought walking around a store could be so much fun! A must see if you're in town!

Really, really cool store. Made me want to start carrying my Return of the Jedi lunch box to work. If you like nostalgia and grew up in the 70’s-80’s you should drop in.
