This place was ideal for my daughters 16th birthday party. The place was immaculate and had the charm of An old country home . It easily held all of the teenagers , along with the adults that came. The help I received in decorating from Andrea was such a pleasure. I didn't have to do much decorating as they went out of the way to help me. I highly recommend this place for any function it's located on a beautiful lot with plenty of parking spaces.

We booked Surrey for my sister's baby shower. It was an excellent experience. Booking was easy, it was affordable, and the attention to detail was much appreciated. They helped us think through the process from start to finish. We had an amazing time and honestly had zero issues or complaints. If you're looking for a cute, southern elegance style location, then this is it. We will book again if we ever want to host another event.

We had party last week and the place is amazing. Only thing was they were some dry leaves layed on the deck and was not cleaned. They had helpers who can help for complete party. Those guys are very helpful and amazing. They clearly listen about your requirements and act accordingly. Happy to recommend for my friends.

We just had our wedding ceremony here, Melanie and Andrea were amazing! They both put so much thought into our special day and were attentive, friendly and helpful. Our ceremony was classy and intimate, both things my husband & I wished for. There was lots of cute photo op places and the bridal cottage was perfect. Our wedding day was easy going rather than stressful. This venue is beautiful and all together perfect.

I got married at the Surrey House and Gardens last November. Such a beautiful place and a complete package! You can get the venue, buffet and cake all together and they excelled in all three things in my opinion! Cheryl was always attentive and sweet, so easy to talk and work with. My experience was great! It was the first venue visit and I knew that was it but went to other places just because "you don't want to set for the first place you see", but it was my first pick through the whole time.
It's the perfect place for a small wedding/event and the price is hard to compete with.

The staff here is nothing short of amazing and my babyshower was beautiful. I had so many compliments on the venue thanks to Andrea and her creativity and the beautiful place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Give it a tour and you will fall in love with the place.

This venue is the best of the best!! Andrea was so great throughout the whole process, I honestly don’t think I could’ve made it through my big day without her. She made sure everything was in order and was so positive about everything. I’m so happy I chose this venue for my special day because it made it even more special having the support of the workers there.

We have hosted baby showers and now a wedding and hands down our favorite place! The house feels so warm and is the perfect mix of natural beauty and charm. Andrea is amazing! She brings such a calm and peace and makes it is so easy to enjoy any event you are hosting. We love you Andrea you are the best!

I felt fortunate to be apart of my son and his new bride’s wedding as they got married here, followed by the reception of great tastes. The wedding cake was pure goodness.

My daughters wedding went wonderfully some issue with sound during dances but all over well on seating super friendly staff and wonderful accommodations.

Hubby and I got married here in January 2004 and I guess it was a good luck spot because we have been happy ever since, more in love than ever. We were just very broke 20-somethings, and when I found this place that ALSO catered at such an accessible rate for our modest budget and a guest list of 84, I knew it was meant to be. And as a native Texan, I also felt like this historic home was something I could be proud to showcase our day to my new family's out of town first-time Texas visitors.

To this day, my hubby's family (who all flew down from New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, etc) still talk about how this was one of the best weddings ever, even though so humble and modest by most of their standards. And believe me, I have seen the lavish parties they pull off for wedding days. Yet somehow, this spot made a lasting impression.

This little house just brims with love and fun. The catering was SO YUMMY, I still remember the stuffed mushrooms and my hubby's chessboard PB cup cake they made special for him. We just had our 19th anniversary so I was checking in to see if you were still in business as you so deserve to be. Glad I found you still in the business of catering to and sheltering real love.

Great place. Enjoyed the historic information about the surrey house! Great place for events.

Classy and intimate with the ability for a more casual feel if desired. Great space to decorate as you wish. Plenty of room for indoor and outdoor activities. Loved the dance floor outside with room for non dancers to observe the fun! The employees were attentive, discreet but friendly when engaged.

We had my son and his fiancé’s wedding rehearsal dinner here October 2022. Everything was perfect. Andrea was such a big help and so accommodating to our needs. The food was fabulous and beyond my expectations!

We booked this place for our daughter’s sweet 16th bday. Beautiful place hidden gem away from all the noise. Great , helping workers who managed every detail with smile the entire time . Everything was set up better than we expected and all the credit goes to Andrea. She took care of decorations, food, cake from her bottom of her heart. All the guests were impressed with their service and the place. So glad we booked this place and my daughter we so happy. We recommend this memorable, unique venue without a doubt.

My husband and I got married at The Surrey House and Gardens in late March 2015, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was even better. Carol and Cheryl were so nice and patient and very comfortable to talk to, unlike other places we looked at for the venue. We had our wedding ceremony outside, the weather was perfect, the reception was in & outside and it worked out perfectly. We had about 115 people attend our wedding but we never felt cramped. The transitioning was done so quickly by the staff the guest didn't even notice. We had the chicken dinner and it was so tasty.The wedding cakes were great, and we had a guitar shaped grooms cake, and fondant lace around our wedding cake, the detailing was great. Overall, I recommend the surrey house for a great venue.

We got married at the Surrey House and Gardens this spring - what a lovely, historic venue for a small wedding! Everything about the experience was wonderful. Cheryl and Carol were so responsive and thoughtful the entire time, and everything went extremely smoothly on the day of the wedding. We had the Surrey House cater as well, and food was excellent. Just had our daughter's wedding and it was great! Cheryl and her staff did a wonderful job throughout and made everything so easy. The house was beautiful, food great, cake amazing, and everyone had a great time. Absolutely nothing went wrong!

The whole concept of a one stop shop where they handled the food and the house made life so much easier and allowing us to do our own decorating let us make the event "ours". And the price was extremely reasonable..
