Nice place to stay friendly people and excellent staff and owners are awesome

I've been here 3 weeks. The staff are excellent. Room is nice. If something wrong they fix immediately. Pet friendly. Housekeeping gives towels and trash pickup every day and they give sheets etc 1 time a week. Everyone has been super nice. Definitely will stay here again when needed.

I have been staying at the Inn for 4 and a half months with my fiancé and have loved it. Sweet, caring staff and owners, very professional but not afraid to be friendly and helpful to make you feel welcome and part of a community. The rooms are easy to settle into, make homely, always tidy & clean and tended to daily by the extremely hard working housekeepers who are true heroes during those 97°F days, seriously! Any issue we've had with the room have also been fixed and we've received new appliances!
One of the best perks, is it's a dog paradise. If you have a dog, you'll be welcome for sure here, and if you love 'em, you'll be in Heaven!

The staff helped with all my needs, nice place to stay at. No major credit card to have them to hold. Have id pay for room with debit card and deposits in cash. The check room out and saw it was clean and gave back deposit. I t s a pet paradise, dog run area out door grills to use. And puppy dog bags sipplied.

I feel very safe here and all of the staff are wonderful. Cookeville has great public transportation and parks. The children here are way cool😎 Great restaurants and bars also live music and sometimes at Dog Wood Park there's live free entertainment 🙂 There's any kind of live music and excellent radio stations also. Our law enforcement is also top notch and professional.

All the employees are genuinely kind. House keeping is on point. The rooms are VERY clean, 💯 cleaner and have been remodeled. I was very impressed compared to the last time I stayed there. It's calmed down and is quiet now and I am enjoying my stay!! I honestly recommend star motor inn!?

I love it ! Its so close to everything, house keeping could be a little better ... But they have nice rooms for real!

Passed buy this hotel for years never stopped glad I did this time, I Stay in hotels 3 to 4 times a week because of my job and its not fair the bad reviews they give for this motor inn. Its an older hotel but its a cozy feel with of old wood finished. The room was clean the sheets and towel were bright white, you can tell its family owned and they have pride. The rates are cheap under $50.00 you got to understand they have to compete with the franchise hotels. There doing a fine job.

Very pet friendly. We were there a little over a week. My dog went in to labor and had 7 puppies the staff was wonderful and so was housekeeping. And we got our pet deposit back when we checked out😁

I called to inquire about a room. The woman who answered was very kind. She was also extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the Star Motor Inn.

Used to be notorious for drugs and police; being from the area, i know the reputation well. I am currently staying here and that has definitely changed. I couldn't connect to the internet and they called an employee in to fix it immediately. Havent had a problem since. Furniture has a used look but everything is clean and the air conditioning/wifi/cable works great!

I have stayed here before and enjoyed it .I checked in today and I still love this place . This establishment is pet friendly and the Owner and his staff are courteous and helpful . If you don't like here , go somewhere else .

Alot better than it use to be just a year or so ago. I actually believe it was one of the more comfortable place I had been staying
Still needs new maintenance alot of things could improve just by knowing how.

The front desk clerk is a very nice Ms Cheryl is a good worker and very respectful and she makes u feel welcome here and this will be the only hotel I'll come stay at in Cookeville TN and the frist hotel I'll stop at when I come in town and the housekeeper they clean very good and they get the job done and very respectful

They are very kind they gave me a place to stay because I couldn't stay at the apartment that's fallen apart. God bless them very much

Its a nice cheap place to stay for a week or longer, or even just a day! And they help you anytime you need clean towels!

Great place I think yeah it needs upgrade..but owner and manager is awesome as h£!! He actually cares about his customers and his knowledge runs very deep

Wonderful and very helpful staff. Room is very clean. Coffee in the front office all day and night.

Its a nice hotel for the price and the staff are vary nice i would recommend this hotel to anyone. No loud people out side or in there rooms.
