Whispering Oaks Campground

This campground is one our favorites! The check in process is so easy, the prices are very reasonable, the pool is so much fun! We really enjoy the festive BBQ parties that the campground hosts. The owners, Michele and Rick, make everyone feel like family! If you enjoy camping, put this one on your list!

I stopped in for one night on my way home from Southern, IL and this place was great to accommodate me and make sure I had what I needed when I arrived after hours! It was easy to find my site and get setup.

Great price for full hookups! So if you're passing through the area, consider this as a place to stay!

We stayed in the RV park. Very clean, nice level parking spots, very helpful employees and guests. Nice pool. Other amenities available we did not use. The spots are a little closer than we are used to, but not bad

After two weeks of Boondocking with family and friends, we stopped at a wonderful site near Nashville, TN. Here we are for a week with amenities of trash pickup, water, electricity, septic, good wifi, plus a bathhouse and outdoor pool. Our three leashed pets are welcome, with the only requirement being to pick up after them. The site is wonderfully serviced with a caring and kind staff. This is our first visit, but it will not be our last!

Close to the 24 but far enough that you do not hear traffic. NOTE - THEY ARE CASH ONLY! Located between Manchester and Murfreesboro. At the time of this review (February) it was $40 per night with FHU, 100' pull-thru. Gravel sites. Walmart within 8 miles and right off the freeway.

All the reviews about how kind the staff and other campers are, is very true. We stayed in #17 which is a pull through. The site's are long. I believe they told me 100' . Although the site's are fairly close together, they are so long that you could position yourself either back or forward without having to see into another's RV. You will see long-term, contract workers and short stay. There's a playground, pool, a large field for your dog to walk/run and WiFi. Our t-mobile home internet, Verizon and AT&T cell service picked up very well. Strict on cleaning up after your pooch so be sure to bring poop bags. We were there for one night, but liked it so much we stayed a second night. The trees are mature and tall. It would be beautiful to come in the spring, summer and fall. This is on our list for future stays.

We stopped here for one night on our way to northern IL. For the price (cash only), you can’t beat having full hookups (water, sewer and electricity). The owner was super friendly and led us right to our pull through spot. You’re close to your neighbors, and some long term people have cluttered spots, but we were only there for a night so not a big deal. Nice big open area with some playground equipment for kids/running around. We have our own bathroom/shower so I can’t speak for how their restrooms are. Highly recommend for a quick overnight stop since it’s right off the interstate.

We can not say enough about this place. We were stranded for 2 weeks when the transmission on our truck went. The staff helped us in so many ways. The kindest of everyone will never be forgotten. Our 3 week family road trip turned into 5 1/2 weeks but we found new friends and a place we will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for a couple hours while running across Tennessee and all I can say is the staff made this the best experience out of anywhere else I stayed. We walked in and were greeted and talked to like we had stayed there all summer.
Both guys helping us made sure we had everything we needed and allowed us to use the swimming pool if we wanted. There were showers, food and drinks for all of the racers to use and the campground was a peaceful and clean place to relax even for just a couple hours.
I would highly recommend stopping here on your next camping trip. I would like to make a trip down to stay a week or so before next year's race so I can get the full experience of this awesome place.

We stayed after attending a festival down the road to catch up with some sleep. We have traveled everywhere with our rv and never meet people as accommodating as the people here!! Beyond friendly! Great clean park with lots of activities for the family’s! 11/10 we will be back!

A great park in the woods. We got caught in traffic in Nashville and came in after dark. They helped us park.

I stayed here just a little over 2 months. I was in transition buying a house. The host and staff are friendly; they're always available if you need some help. I stayed here during the winter so I didn't do much outdoor activity. The campground is quite and very private. The spaces are a good size and it never feels crowded. They offer good rates and it's full hook ups.A++

First time visitors to the camp ground and we will absolutely come back! The owners Rick and Michelle and great people who would help you with anything they have the means to help you with. The kids loved the pool and the play areas. All the surrounding campers were nice and helpful. We have a42' camper and had no problems with the site. They keep the place well maintained and it was such a great experience! I couldn't be happier with our visit!

This place looks a little great. Stop you could stay permanently. The man helped us out with the electric, we were having problems with he found that it was just a switch.

Very accommodating! We had trailer trouble on our way home and needed a quick place to stay for the night. The man at the office got us set up in a spot quickly and provided us with mechanic info. The campground was clean and well cared for.

We've stayed here several times. A great campground outside of the high traffic and street noise. Wonderfully caring people who go out of their way to help. Tent camping plus larger RV spaces. It is easy to get to from I24.

Super nice folks running the campground! Clean, efficient, lots of room to play for children. Great value as well. We stayed here to take advantage of Mufreezburo the follow day and Stone River National Battle Field. I’d stay here again for a few days. Very relaxing! Good value for fire wood too!

We staying here for a little bit and I can say that we are very happy with the way the camp ground is set and being maintained there’s a shower house that’s heated and cleaned daily the other RVets here are very nice and respectful to the environment and etch other. I highly recommend it with reasonable pricing long to short term staying with 50amp 30amp and 120 watt power supply and water supply with septic hook up ..I highly recommend this place for sure💯

Great little campground and super friendly people. We will definitely keep in mind when we are back this way.
