We stayed here from April 2023 to January 2024 and we enjoyed our time here. You are off in the woods. We didn't feel cramped with other campers. The management seem to do their best to take care of the park the best they can. We would definitely come back here. It is dog friendly and their is a long driveway for walks. There is a Dollar General a couple minutes away and other shopping and food around 15 minutes away.

I stayed @ TN Hills Campground for four months. Quiet, remote, rural campground. This is not your every day right off the highway parking lot of a campground. This is for people who want to be away from the hussle and bussle cozied up in a place that feels more like a community. The campers here spend more time outside together around a campfire than they do watching TV in their RVs. I would absolutely stay here again.

It was late fall when I arrived and the colors were beautiful. The campground does have full time residents, however they are very respectful and also helpful. Plenty or additional spots for anyone wanting to stay a weekend, or a week, or longer should you see fit.

FUH sites available and relatively level considering you are up a mountain. You have options of spots that are covered and have adorable patios or you basic open spots. If you can, go for one with a patio! Anyone traveling in an RV will really enjoy that additional space! If those are full there is a pavilion you can hang out at while the kids play in the central open space.

You do go up a dirt road to the campground that does have one sharp turn. I made it just fine with my 32' TT and full sized crew cab truck. I am new to towing and had zero issues getting in or out. My fellow workcampers had a 40' schooly with a towed and also made it just fine.

The road itself was being regraveled as I was leaving. As with any dirt road, one hard rain can make it a bumpy mess. However Kim is pretty quick on making repairs after these storms. I've traveled highways that were full of more potholes than this road ever was in my four months on site.

I personally enjoy getting out and hiking, and there were so many places to go hit the trails. I strongly recommend Machine Falls. There are a few lakes close by that I would have loved to go SUP on but sadly, winter and I don't get along. Oh, and there are historical spots everywhere! Very beneficial should you be homeschooling and on the road or just want to visit.

At the time of my stay the bath houses were closed. This is not unusual for winter in many parks, and of course Covid has shut down many publicly shared spaces at parks all over the county. So I can not share anything on them.
The pool looked like something I would enjoy come summer were I to stay longer.

No laundry or trash pick up on site, but local trash stations and laundromats are close. This is something I have experienced in many parks between TN & NC nestled in the hills.

For quick snacks there is a Truck Stop and Dollar General about 15 to 20 min away. WalMart is about a half an hour away in Murfreesboro, and all your basic needs can be found close by in Manchester. Stop at the farmers market for in season fruits and veggies.

WiFi - They do have wifi, as with all park wifi I have experienced, it is not meant for streaming all your shows. The more people on the wifi the slower it will become. Especially anyone who chooses to stream instead of downloading while everyone is sleeping.
I have Verizon and had fine signal in the area.

I hope you give TN Hills Campground a try.

We stayed here last fall for 3 months and will be back again this fall. The owners were very accommodating any time we needed something or an issue arose. It's a simple, quiet place in the country. Neighbors are friendly. Lots of space for the kids to run around. If you're looking for a campground with lots of activities & bells & whistles then search on. But if you're looking for beauty, relaxation, solitude and the occasional get together with neighbors then this is your place! When the leaves change it is a magical place!

I have stayed at TN Hills from April 2021-Present for work and we have enjoyed it very much. Kim is fantastic and always very helpful.

Also, my wife and kids love it here too. The review about the pool being cold is correct, but that is to be expected when it is filled with spring water.

Great quite campground. The owner is hands on and almost always on the property to handle any issues. We really enjoyed our spot with a HUGE covered deck. Do be prepared as it is up a large hill with a tight turn. With that being said we made it up there in our Skoolie while towing a car so dont be discouraged. We would stay here in the future.

We love staying here! The owners are Awsome. It's nice and quiet! We have spent the last two winters here and couldn't love it more. There are two playgrounds for our kids to play on. They have a pool that is spring feed. That we love to relax in.

It was a very relaxing and pleasant stay. No frills which is good with us. Kim was great. Friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a trek up a winding hill which is why it is called Tennessee Hills Campground!

Great campground, full hookups, good wifi. And my antenna comes in fairly well. Well maintained and most of the spots are covered. So all in all, it's a pretty cool spot for RV camping.

Very nice lady, but her RV park, is straight a stony, road, with hair pin turns, not good hauling an RV.

Covered campsites are a nice surprise. Far enough away from town, but close enough for a quick trip when needed.
