Newberry Manor

My husband booked our stay at Newberry Manor as a surprise for me when we attended a concert at the Newberry Opera House. The home is truly beautiful, meticulously and lovingly restored. We stayed in the Rose Catherine room, and very much enjoyed our welcome tour with Miss Fallon. Breakfast was indeed scrumptious and beautifully prepared and presented. Warren and Joy are marvelous hosts who are knowledgeable, kind, and very generous with their time and attention to ensure our comfort and safety. We absolutely recommend Newberry Manor when you are enjoying the delights of the Newberry area.

I can’t say enough good things about Newberry Manor! My daughter and I stayed there while she was participating in Honors Orchestra at Newberry College. The location was incredibly convenient. The rooms were so warm and inviting. They even gave my daughter her own room complete with canopy calves and fairy lights - a young girls dream!! The food was absolutely delicious. Joy and Warren (the owners & innkeepers) were so sweet. I can’t wait to take my husband and son back to meet them and stay in this beautiful bed & breakfast!

We so enjoyed the night at Newberry Manor. The home was absolutely lovely. Warren & Joy were very nice. The Royal room had the most comfortable bed to get rested in. Their breakfast was outstanding as well. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality at Newberry Manor.

As I was traveling alone, I was so pleased to have hosts who went out of my way to feel like a friend rathe than just a guest. This is an historic home which was decorated in period furnishing. My room, The President (a Turret Room) was outstanding. It was tastefully decorated and comfortable and had lots of windows. No noise came into the room from outside. There were guests in the next bedroom and I didn't hear them either. I had a good night's sleep after attending a concert at the Newberry Opera House. Breakfast was fresh fruits which were all ope and sweet. There was coffee, juice, a home made pastry and, in addition, a quiche. What a way to start the day. I had such a good time that I plan on going back to another concert in the future and staying here again. Re price of the room--thought it was reasonable.

A beautiful home and wonderful owners! We stayed in the president's suite during the Christmas season and enjoyed the decorations throughout the house. Joy and Warren are welcoming hosts with a vast knowledge of Newberry history and current places to visit/eat. We will be staying again on our next visit to Newberry! Btw, the breakfast they serve is outstanding!

It is an absolutely beautiful home. You can see that it has been lovingly furnished. The owners are very personal and knowledgeable. The additional family members are very hospitable. Joy makes a breakfast to die for and Warren is a great host. We slept like a champ and we would love to bring family back to visit.

We stayed one night at Newberry Manor when we traveled to Newberry to watch our nephew play basketball. The bed and breakfast was very clean and our room spacious. The owners were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was first rate. We were served fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage, and fresh blueberry pancakes. Orange juice, coffee and tea. Because we were affiliated with the college we were offered The President's Room which is decorated in the colors of the college. Our nephew was also welcomed at breakfast for no additional cost. That was special for us to have time and space to visit with him. We will stay here again if we plan an overnight visit to Newberry.

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and it was delightful! The house was beautiful, our bed more than comfortable and the breakfast was second to none. Joy and her family were wonderful host and they shared their home with us like we were family. My husband and I would highly recommend anyone near the Newberry, South Carolina area to stop by and spend the night - you won't regret it!

Joy & Warren were truly the best experience for my birthday. Being treated like royalty was the standard. But with a twist of true passion and sincerity that surpasses any other places I’ve been. We were made to feel like family, along a trip down an historical memory lane. WE WIILL BE BACK!❤

This is a gorgeous home/B and B. We didn't stay here, but were there for a house tour. The rooms are beautiful and I would definitely stay here sometime in the future. The owners are very nice and I'm sure amazing hosts.

On September 28 my wife and I stayed at the Newberr Manor. This was a new experience for us since the previous B & B had closed several years ago. We could not have had a more wonderful stay. The owners/host were very accomadating to any request we had. The Manor is within walking distance to several restaurants and the famous Opera House.

We travel to Florida Keys often by way of I-26 to I-95. This inn is close to the interstate. We definitely would stay here again. RB

Ghost stories in Newberry, South Carolina abound. From West End Cemetery to Newberry College you can find enough to easily fill a book. I don't put much credit in any of these stories, but I still think it is fun to visit these historic locations. While passing through recently I was lucky enough to stay at the Newberry Manor. I've heard first-hand accounts of strange occurrences taking place in this well known home.

The location is lovely, the architecture of the place is stunning. This place is dated in the 1800's. Every room is like stepping back into time. No t.v., radio, clocks, but there is wifi. I am 100% satisfied, and planning a return trip for next year!! Oh, the host, and hostess are phenomenal!!

We enjoyed our stay for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary!! We will be back!!
