Neighborhood Yoga

I rented a cabin off the grid to focus on meditating, breathing and running. I was looking for yoga classes in the neighborhood and I was interested in trying the Gentle Yin & restorative class since i never did it before. The studio is out of this world, large and spacious and great atmosphere, wonderful and friendly staff. I am definitely going back to try other classes till my stay is over.

I have been taking Sandra Diaz' yoga classes regularly for 18 months and have improved my strength, balance and agility. Sandra has educated me in both my asana practice and improved my confidence to achieve even the most difficult poses. I highly recommend her classes.

This is a wonderful studio with a delightful atmosphere. Every detail has been so carefully thought out, so from the moment you walk through the door you feel like you've been transported. I took my two boys for an afternoon yoga class which was led by a great teacher, and we felt right at home despite visiting from Colorado. We would highly recommend this space for anyone needing a respite from their day. Would love to come back for another class soon!

This place is amazing: peaceful and calm yet offering challenge and excercise for the mind and body. The new facility downtown is beautiful and a place of deep comfort for me. The instructors are excellent. Food at Kindly Kitchen is nutritious and delicious! I did not even notice it was vegan. Neighborhood Yoga is a wonderful place to visit as often as you can!

When I made the commitment to grow my yoga practice nearly two years ago, I eventually found my way to Neighborhood Yoga's Teacher Training program and to a regular monthly membership. When I'm lucky, I roll out my mat here seven days a week! I have visited many yoga studios around the country and I can say without hesitation that this one right here in my hometown is (by far) the most beautiful, AND it is filled with kind, loving and caring teachers all of whom have their own unique style and focus. The people who come here to practice are a wide variety of wonderful souls. My life changed for the better when I became part of the Neighborhood!

Really love Neighborhood Yoga! The people there are very kind and helpful. The ambiance the moment you walk in transports you to a place of peace and tranquility. The teachers care about your physical condition and are very attuned to injury. I would highly recommend this yoga studio to everyone! Just an awesome place to learn and practice!

What a lovely space! Stopped in for a lunchtime flow while in town and was so happy I did. Excellent teacher, beautiful space, and a nice little shop too. They have mats and props to borrow, and are offering online classes too if you prefer.

I’ve taken classes and workshops at this studio for about nine years and have seen it evolve from a backyard studio (literally) into the sophisticated retreat it is today. Much work and love has gone into both places and each has its own charm. On a Walkin basis, the classes may be a bit more than average for this area, but there are some very cost-conscious plans if you want to be a regular. Being a regular provides me with a continuing program of gentle stretching and a community of supportive women and men.

I find the front desk people and all the instructors to be welcoming. It always makes me smile to see the change that comes over newcomers as they feel the warmth and after a few classes relax into what may have seemed at first to be a “different world.” It’s not, though...it’s just the “neighborhood.”

Neighborhood yoga is an amazing space full of wonderful people! Even when I haven’t practiced in a while, I show up and always feel so welcomed. This non-judgmental community is very special and they welcome anyone and everyone - not to mention the sheer beauty of the studio is hard to beat.

One of the most beautiful yoga studios I have ever seen, with a wonderful supportive community. And most importantly, the quality of teaching is at the highest level. I live an hour away but I practice at Neighborhood yoga and it is very much worth it.

Neighborhood Yoga has helped me achieve a deep personal yoga practice. I started practicing yoga 9 years ago. I also took teacher training here in 2014.
There is not a more caring and loving community in Boone. We truly felt we found the community we want to bring children into.

I have since landed in Serena’s class as reglaurly as possible. I would suggest new folks attend different classes and see what works best for them. My dad has even found his way to yoga regularly because of this business.

Neighborhood Yoga is a welcoming and beautiful studio. Classes for beginners and experienced yogis are led by well trained, caring instructors who are hands-on and helpful with poses and injury prevention and healing. I love this place!

This Hood is one of a kind! I wish I could share Neighborhood Yoga with everyone.
There is no where else I would rather do my Teacher Training.

Beautiful studio right in downtown Boone, with so many amazing details! Many different styles of classes and teachers offered - leaning towards vinyasa/flow & yin/gentle classes.

Neighborhood Yoga is truly a sanctuary! Boone is so lucky to have this beautiful studio. The classes and teachers are amazing!!

Classes are offered in such a variety of times and levels from a variety of teachers such that all needs can easily be met and your practice to flourish. Staff and teachers are easy to approach with any questions or special needs.

I 💞 Neighborhood Yoga, I travel 45 minutes to take the class and it’s worth it, Caroline is such a great teacher...I leave feeling a real sense of accomplishment and I feel like I’ve had a fantastic work out!
