Falls on Grogan Creek

We found this waterfall easier to find than the Cedar cove. This one is on the trail towards Cat gap loop. It's right before the sign. Follow the sound down a steep trail but it was wonderful. Had the falls all to ourselves for a bit. Soaked our feet in there and just took in the scenery. I would rate this as a moderate hike. We are not locals nor experienced hikers. Just exploring the area. We did have a map from the Pisgah visitor center that the ranger prepared and highlighted for us before we went. Even with that, we couldn't find how to get to the other waterfall. But we were happy to have found this one.

A lot o nice trails to wander around on. Most of the trails are well marked but can still be a bit confusing when you come to a junction. Lots of small waterfalls but views can be hard to come by in the summer when the trees have their leaves.

Getting to the fall was a bit of work, but we'll worth it! Loved it.

Easy hike. Almost 2 miles. Labor day weekend and we didnt see many people at all.

Good little hike with very few people. A little muddy.

Hard to see through the trees.
