Great little shoppe. Good drink, Iove the smell of coffee beans when you walk in.

We stopped here while on vacation. Friendliest staff and the coffee was so smooth. Our plans for the day were cancelled due to the weather and we got to hang out here and play board games as a family! Great vacation detour!

Always a joy stepping into Higher Grounds when we're in the area because we always know that whatever the drink of choice is that day, it will be delightful. What drives it home for me is the wall of beans you can bag and take as that gets me by for a few weeks while I miss that mountain air. There are only a few tables inside from r seating though so it best to grab and go.

Went here twice while visiting Boone. As soon as you step inside you smell their fresh coffee beans and they smell amazing. My latte was delicious and they have lots of flavors to choose from.

One of the best in town (Blowing Rock, Boone & Banner Elk) spacious, delicious, comfortable, with gifts for everyone and and ice cream bar! Excellent location near the movie theater, great staff and wonderful ambiance, go!

Moonshine and I visit Higher grounds at least once a week. They have great coffees by the cup or in bean form. They also have a large variety of sweets, like ice cream and brownies.

While there one can shop from french presses to coffee themed home decor, mugs, signs.... Just a groovy lil shop.

Purchased an apple pie chai with oatmilk and it was one of the most delicious drinks I've ever tasted in my life. Huge selection of beans for purchase. Reasonable prices. Only thing that would make this shop better is to have a couple chessboards available for folks to play.

Cool shop. Amy was awesome and explained the beans to us, ground them up and made us great drinks. 👍 thanks a bunch. After a few sips we were human again.

I can always count on Higher Grounds for a consistent caffeinated beverage! The flavored syrup selection is abundant and they have a very wide variety of bulk beans from all over the world. I always see the same barista in the mornings and as a creature of comfort, I really appreciate starting my day with a little chat with her.

Hands down my favorite shop for coffee and I don't even truly drink it! I always go for the Vanilla Bean Frappe. Incredible! Fabulous! It's like dessert but a thousand if not million times better! Yes! I'm not exaggerating! Mmmm... In fact, I must now venture off for more thinking of it. Gorgeous atmosphere baby the way and always super-friendly service!!! Thank-you Higher Grounds for being the best!

Never been there before. The counter person was soooo helpful. I got the coffee I wanted and it was so delicious. I will go back. Thank you High Ground Coffee. Got some chocolate covered beans as well.

I love this coffee shop. The employees are super down to earth and they sure do know how to make my creme brulee just the way I like it.

Higher Grounds is a great place to kick back and enjoy a nice hot or cold cup of coffee with friends. The staff has always been a pleasure to speak with and have always provided great service. If your order gets messed up, don’t worry, politely let them know and they will be sure to fix it. I’m not sure if they have coconut milk but they DO have almond milk if you’re wanting something other than regular cows milk. Great place and always a friendly face.
