I read the reviews before I arrived and I was very impressed with the quality of the property, the rooms were very nice, clean, stocked with all amenities including all the luxury of the 5 star motel in the area. We can't understand why the reviews are so wrong. I will be staying here anytime I am going to be here in Greensboro for now on. What you see is what you get 💯 from the website. I will be spreading the information about this place and our experience.

Room was very clean, spotless, bed was the most comfy ever and the service and interaction with staff was better than I could have imagined! We came prepared for anything because we had read some reviews that weren't very positive about this place but when we arrived we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff and once we got to our room our faces were beaming with happiness. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of towels and items that made it look and feel more like the comforts of home..Infact, we were quite upset that we didn't come to Howard Johnson a few days earlier, it definitely was so much better than the places we had been and was cheaper than the others as well! We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back!

The Howard Johnson is open you just have to call down at the Howard Johnson and they will book your reservation for some reason is something wrong with the online but the Howard Johnson is open

I read a lot of reviews while on the way and was worried but it was nothing like the reviews. Everyone was really nice. The rooms were clean, carpet was freshly cleaned, and I wanted to take the bed home. Lol. Kids were hanging around outside but they got quite around 8 pm and we slept just fine. No one ever bothered us or our things. Thank y'all for a comfortable and great experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a college orientation. The college suggested places twice the price so I thought I'd check out this place. The hotel was clean and the bed were comfortable. They offered coffee in the rooms. The rooms seem to be updated recently. Breakfast was included but kind of lacking in choices which was fine considering the price. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, the rooms were clean and up to date, I just love, love, love the little blonde front seat clerk Brandi with the braces, she's the best at what she does, the pool was clean, rooms are affordable and location is great. Even when I stayed there during prom, there were no noise issues or complaints, I wish they served a meat on the breakfast bar but hey, I will take it regardless

Love this place its affordable and quiet. Rooms are nice even before the upgrade never had problems. Staff is nice and helpful. Pool is always clean and nice. Only thing this time is they need to improve some of the doors. Cause we had to change rooms cause the original room they have us we couldn't get in cause the door wasnt reading the key. But overall is good

Room was clean. Newly remodeled. Cute decor. And the bed!!!! The bed was so very comfortable, I cannot say enough about it. We travel constantly and the bed was , by far, the best in quite some time. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Will definitely make this my go to the next time I'm in town.

Great place to stay. They definitely exceeded my expectations. The front desk lady was very accommodating and the best part.. BREAKFAST AND A POOL! Rates are fairly priced and I'd recommend a friend stay at this hotel. I feel safe.

Nice nonsmoking room, king size bed. Simple amenities included fridge, microwave, iron, wardrobe dresser, flat screen tv, coffee maker, Kleenex, desk, ac/heat, an added bonus a couch in the room which turned out to be a pull out, and a fitness center. Overall very satisfied and decent price.

Very clean rooms, updated decor, friendly staff and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Definitely will keep them in mind for future travels

My company booked the room for me because of the snow and had a 2 double beds and it was really nice and very clean and free breakfast and awesome staff and good coffee in the rooms and Love the room and the decor of the room. Will come back if I need a place to stay close by and clean place better then other places. No names (Travel Inn) lol. Great price and great staff and THANK You so much for the stay.

Room was very clean. Male employee at front desk was friendly and helpful. The price was the lowest in town. I was scared it was going to be a dump but was pleasantly surprised to find it as nice as other more expensive 2 star or 3 star hotels. Would stay there again.

My family and I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are so clean and very nice! The beds are super comfortable! Unfortunately it's raining so the pool is closed but otherwise, this will definitely be a return location for us!

It's in a good location, I felt safe. The room was really nice, clean, and affordable. My boyfriend and I were in town for a few days. Service was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Some rooms more then others need a face lift but other wise I love staying here infact if I end up in one of these rooms they switch me immediately.

Im not giving this Howard Johnson a 5 star rating for it having exceptional service or amenities. This 5 star is strictly for one of their employees, Bharat. I have had a large group booking here(usually about 10+ rooms) every August and Bharat is the only person who has any idea on how to help anybody. The rest of the staff, especially the managers are practically useless as they tell you theyre looking into your problems but have never done anything about it. If it wasn't for Bharat, this hotel would have lost our business in that first year. Bharat is the only reason weve had successful visits and we'll only continue to go if he is helping us out. If you're not working with Bharat, dont bother expecting help from the hotel staff.

Great service. Clean room. Visitors were loud in the parking area...arguing. Not HJ's fault.
