Courtyard by Marriott Greensboro

One of the FRIENDLIEST staffs EVER! Brianna, Amy, Ashley, and Sarah all seem like family to me and Lil Miss Valdosta State was so adorable. I felt comfortable letting my momma wander through the hotel because I knew they were looking out for her. They even invited us to their staff Juneteenth luncheon which 1. Kudos for having on and 2. Brianna stuck her foot, ankle, elbow and wrist in that food. SOOOO DELICIOUS!

I came to this hotel Valentine's weekend.
My experience was amazing from the moment I was greeted. I don't remember the two ladies names at the front desk but they were excellent! The hotel was spotless, smelled great, loved the decor and spacious rooms. The area of the hotel I was placed on (facing Wendover) was quiet. Two things I would change is the size of the showers and no microwaves in rooms. 8/10 recommend!

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff were all nice, room was clean, and weekend stay was quiet enough to get some decent sleep. Would definitely choose this hotel over others in the area.

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful. I don't remember her name. Anyway, she should get a raise.

My overall stay at the hotel was pretty good. Service was great, the room was alright but I’m not a big fan of traffic in the area. During rush hours it can be hard to get to the hotel due to its location. Bonus point for having a Starbucks inside the hotel and TVs in the lobby to watch any sport events

We always stay here when we are in town and it’s always a great experience! Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Even though the hotel is right off the road/hwy, it’s quiet, Especially the courtyard view, you’d never even realize your next to a busy road!

Great location with nice rooms. I can see the owners are remodeling some of the rooms. So, that is promising. I usually stay at another chain, but I had points built up for a free night.
Front desk lady was nice and we were able to spend a night out on the town and not have to drive all the way back home.

I stayed in this Courtyard March 28 (2023)--for almost a week, and it's a current stay at another Courtyard (July 2023) that has prompted this review. Courtyard is one of the first Marriott hotels, so most are dated. The Greensboro location is to be complimented for the following: keeping the rooms up-to-date to include the bathrooms (no grime in the shower, no mildew smell from the AC), providing "thick" towels and hand cloths, and the bed being comfortable. I enjoy 5-star service as much as the next client (the day and night crew were always pleasant and accommodating), but I "lived" in the room for six nights, and I was comfortable. Keep up the room quality!

We had a family gathering Labor Day weekend. There was about 20 of us meeting in the lobby sitting in the area with a big couch and several chairs. A perfect place to meet. Two of the employees went beyond being a front desk person. Christine brought over 2 pitchers of water and cups for us to enjoy then Brandon went and put on a big pot of coffee for everyone without being ask too. They were so kind!
The room was so comfortable and clean but the 2 employees made the trip even better.
We will go back !

A very centrally located hotel at a very reasonable price and comes with the excellent service that one expects from Marriott courtyard. The front office staff was very helpful. Clean and neat rooms.

I was staying here for a few days for work. I had an issue with my room and immediately went down to the front desk. I shared my issue with the two young ladies working the night shift and they were able to find a tech to enter my room to assist. Unfortunately the issue could not be rectified that night and the tech called the front desk and explained this to the ladies. Immediately they found me another room and called me back to tell me I could come get the key. This was awesome customer service from all 3. They listened, they reacted, they resolved the issue. I will definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thanks again to the night shift trio!

Great place. Our son had a AAU basketball tournament. Got 3 rooms and they were great. Slept great in the comfy beds. Front desk and housekeeping were always attentive and customer friendly. Felt at home. We had a loud neighbor...the front desk did all they could to get them to quiet down and respect others staying in hotel. They were quick on making things right. Pool was great. Renovations were being done but nothing that made you feel uncomfortable.

We travel quite a bit. Between 12-18 times a year. The hotel was beautiful. The courtyard was immaculate. The bed was one of, in not, the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. The room was well appointed as well as the pantry in the lobby to buy food and drinks. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in the area.

This was the most comfortable stay! Our room as spotless and extremely clean. I kept commenting on how clean the bathroom was! The room smelt amazing and also had a balcony! We needed to stay one night while road tripping back home. Y’all!! Don’t look anywhere else! Stay at this place! The staff was awesome and parking was a breeze.

There were these two ladies there this morning. They were awesome. They were African-American ladies. I did not get their names. They both look pretty young. They had straight black hair and one lady was wearing glasses. Man they really helped me out. I own stock in Marriott and I’m so glad i do after that experience! I was taking my son hunting and we stopped for coffee and there was absolutely no place open. It was really early. I saw the Marriott. They let me in and when I explained what was going on and that I was so sleepy I can barely drive they just gave me a cup of coffee. I offered to pay for it and they said no, let us take care of you. I looked around for a tip jar but I did not see one and then I realize that all I had was 50s in 100s anyway. I was thinking maybe this review might help. This is why I only stay at Marriott and why I own stock in Marriott. Oh by the way, the place was immaculately clean.

Great rooms. Updated design, friendly staff. I will stay again next time I am here. Loved the couches in the rooms and the TV was excellent. The beds are soft and comfortable as well. I really don't have any real complaints.

I've stayed here 3 or 4 times but on my last stay, I noticed some renovations took place. Clean and cozy rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The decor is modern and inviting. The entertainment in the TV was great. The food was simple but good. The facilities were clean and the courtyard was spot on.

The hotel shuttle driver last night 10/8/22 was very nice and informative, as well as patient. Also the new Front Desk overnight associate Kizzy L. Thompson is a GEM. She is very understanding, patient, helpful, humorous, & Dedicated. Not only was she still new and learning the ropes she didn’t act one bit of stress or pressure when she had a lot going on which was helping other guests with all sorts of things and accommodations as well as myself. I had to print important documents & the WiFi was not working correctly she tried and did everything in her power to help me. Her manager Brandon or Brendan (my apologies if I got it wrong) was also VERY Patient & helpful and helped guide her on the phone as well. Despite everything going on she managed to get it to work throughout the night and had the paperwork printed and ready for me in the afternoon when I left. Courtyard Marriott in GSO Is very fortunate to have some of the best employees with great work ethics.

Staff went above and beyond. Very courteous, knows your name, and cares as deeply as they can.

I have stayed here a couple times in the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed the stay each time. Comfortable beds, nice rooms, great staff... But if they could do something about the outdoor temperatures so it didn't drop below freezing at night that would be great. :)
