Hyatt Place Greensboro

We had a great stay, everything was very clean and staff was very friendly. Robin Johnson at the reception was extremely sweet and she helped us a lot. Will definitely stay here when we are in town!

Let me say when I booked my room I had not read the reviews. Then I did and contemplated canceling. But then I called and spoke with the manager who was very transparent and honest with me about the hotel's shortcomings. That conversation set my mind at ease. I am glad I did not cancel. The first room we had was to our liking. Enough space for my family of four 2 adults/2 young adults and our 2 yr old shitzu/poodle mix. The room was clean and the beds and sofa comfortable. Our second room (because we choose to stay an additional day after move-in day at NC A&T and there were no doubles available could be because of the family reunion that was taking place there. They were having a good ole time) was comfortable as well and clean. Both rooms were on the 6th floor which I did not mind at all because the elevators were working perfectly fine. The staff was friendly and amenable to answering any questions or responding to minor stuff like needing an extra towel set.
Breakfast which was included was good. There was a little bit of everything to suit your liking. From hot eggs/sausages/bacon/grits, to cereal, to waffles to bagels, to fruit. But be warned it starts at 7am and folks be on it.
There's a Best Buy in walking distance, a Walmart and Sam's club is a 5-7 mins drive and there are alot of restaurants to choose from in the immediate area.
All in all I would recommend. And when visiting Greensboro in the future (which I plan to do often because that's where my baby will be at least for the next 4-years), I will definitely be looking to stay here.

Upon arrival, I had some issues with my check in. The room was spacious and the morning breakfast was good. They had someone at the front desk who wasn’t helpful and assigned me to another room but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I got in touch with Marlon the front desk manager and he was very professional, clear and helpful. He should be training the district on how to handle escalations. Mistakes happen and I’m understanding. Marlon went the extra mile to make sure my family was comfortable. Thanks Marlon !

Wonderful stay! Great newly renovated rooms. Hotel located in a good area-a lot to eat around the hotel. Staff was very pleasant! Front desk staff (Breanna) you rock! 10/10 would recommend this Hyatt!

It's a no frills hotel but for what it is it's great! The entire hotel is clean, the free breakfast is decent, the staff was AMAZING, and there were plenty of things nearby.

To general manager Elliott Wright! He went above and beyond to help me and my family with getting us a room earlier since our flight got here so early and we traveled overnight. He gave us tips on where to dine and what could we explore around in our short time free. 🙌💕 The staff is friendly!
Myself and family felt very comfortable walking around the hotel. They have the best handmade lemonade !! With sliced strawberries and all y’all! Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, is close to all main restaurants. He is always present and dedicated to the guest and staff.

Came out here for a small vacay and thanksgiving to see some friends. Love the hotel, have no complaints. Room was clean and comfortable. Only caught breakfast one time and it was good. Staff were okay but seemed a bit disconnected from the place. I think it might just be a “Job” for them. Hopefully they get chairs at the front desk soon. Standing all day long is very overrated. Other than that. Thank you Hyatt, looking forward to more bookings!

The reviews scared me but I knew going in it was under renovation. With that said our family of five with 3 young kids really had no issues, our room was great and very clean same with the bathroom. The woman who checked us in was great and very personable. The pool was clean with no issues. Breakfast had plenty, french toast sticks, sausage, home fries, cereal,toast bagels etc. You could park in the front or side away from any of the debris from construction. Overall I thought this was a very nice hotel, only issue was the lobby under renovation. I would definitely stay again.

Love the renovations that are currently wrapping up. I thought the lobby was being overhauled so when I entered my room the other day I was pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms had a fresh new look too. Not just new furniture, but a different layout in the room too. The desk is no longer tucked against the wall, around the corner from the TV. Breakfast was still good...glad to see a hotel offer diabetic friendly options in the AM. Pleasant service checking in and out too. All around it was a great stay.

Love Hyatt, but it’s the staff that makes it wonderful. 10 hours on the road and the staff was great. Needed extra sheets, extra this and that, no problem. Their was a huge birthday party going on and they we’re working hard but never missed a beat. Big thank you to them!!!!!

I love clean and nice places with friendly people interested in your comfort. The lady that is working the front where you can get your breakfast with people that are willing to take the time and check on every individual that came in to her area making sure that they were taking very good care of, I love her 💗 The room that I was in was nice and comfortable. You won't go wrong at Hyatt place, can hardly wait to get back.

Sandra was a great help during my stay. She stopped what she was doing to get me and my husband towels. Very sweet girl. Well mannered and helped us. And I believe it was her day off. Keep her she wear a smile and doesn’t complain and say it’s not her job like someone else did. And they need name tags cause she had to write her name on a piece of paper. And y’all General manager needs to handle ibis staff better I believe his name is CID the room was clean and I had no complaints

This will definitely be my go-to place to stay when I have to work out of town. The room was great, staff were friendly and the location was perfect.

We have stayed at the Hyatt twice this season for a professional arena football team. I can't say enough about Tanya Sistrunk and her staff! The rooms are VERY clean and the hotel breakfast is awesome. They create a family atmosphere and handle any issues immediately. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean. The room, and entire hotel, was very clean. We parking was secure and well lit at night. The staff were all very professional and friendly. I'm not usually one to go in for the free breakfast, but I liked the Starbucks they have right next to the front desk...well, the breakfast looked & smelled so good we had breakfast there. Hyatt always sets a high standard, this facility is no different. If I could, I'd rate them 6 stars.

Everyone from front desk and all staff were very kind. Clean rooms, comfy beds, hot popcorn and lemonade in the evening and hot breakfast was wonderful. Pet friendly too. Made our furbabies feel welcome too

Awesome experience for our family reunion, the front desk, bar tender and cleaning staff were phenomenal! The room was just ok, too noisy sleeping under the utility room, excellent location!

This Hotel is Amazing! The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. This was my first time in Greensboro and the staff helped me with great food choices around the area. My room was so clean and smelled like it was just sanitized. I searched this hotel on the Bed Bug Registry and they had NO incidents, that is super important to me. Overall, if you select this hotel you will not be disappointed!

Just checked out at the location for a 2 night stay & was sad to leave! The staff was family orientated and very friendly! I had a small issue with the iron, & it was replaced with a new inbox iron in less than 3 mins! Ms. Eith ran a smooth ship the entire time.

Will book same property in the future & would HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
