Comfort Inn Sylva - Cullowhee

Very clean, spacious room. I stayed in an ADA room due to my disability and it was perfect. The bathtub had bars everywhere and a seat which made me feel really secure. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was good and hot. I would stay here again.

Johnny went above and beyond with breakfast service you could smell the Bacon in the elevator! FANTASTIC we have not seen this kind of care since before covid! Thank you so much!! And the front desk staff was always attentive to say hi and asked if we needed anything!

I’m in hotels often and I’m really pleased with the awesome service the staff provided and the quality and comfort provided in all aspects. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip in the area.

More often than not, society is quick to complain but rarely takes the time to compliment. Well, I am here to give a loud shout-out to Ginger who recently went out of her way to assist me with a last minute reservation that I needed for one night. She was very patient, courteous and personable. I truly hope Ginger is appreciated and acknowledged by management for her “can do” attitude and excellent customer service skills. Don't lose this gem!

Excellent hotel! Great room. The staff at the front desk were so sweet to us. Great hot breakfast! I bought a bottle of wine and they had it chilled for me when we got back from dinner across the street! The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful! Manager also very nice. Room large and clean. Fridge/freezer and microwave. Two nice comfortable queen beds. Lovely lobby decor. We stayed in June and again in July. I'll go again! I highly recommend this hotel and it's southern hospitality staff! Good wi-fi.

Excellent hotel. Decor was cute,bedding clean and rooms nice and clean. Lovely view too. The staff -- both of them -- were incredible. Friendly, efficient, willing to help in every way possible. I do hope they get some help soon, because they are running ragged trying to keep this whole hotel together.

The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Not too far from Cherokee and plenty of food options close by.

We stayed here while visiting the Cherokee and Franklin NC area. We were checked in very quickly and the hotel was very inviting and clean! We were very happy to see our room was also very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast. I was impressed to see so many breakfast options available, while everything was individually packaged to avoid any problems with germs. Guests were told they could eat in the sitting area as long as seating provided social distancing. But we chose to take our meal to our room. We will definitely stay here again! The only negative is the wifi isn't the best rather using the hotels or your own. But if you want beautiful mountain views it's worth the loss of some online time!

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in, as the name says it’s such a comfortable stay. Specially the breakfast chef was so welcoming and warm, fresh and too many choices to eat from. The view from the hotel room was so beautiful.Rooms were so spacious and well maintained. Cleanliness was the best thing about this hotel.The restroom was so clean a d the beds were so comfortable .Our stay was so cool and relaxing after the tiring day. Close too the Cherokee casino, 20 minutes from here. We loved it and will always stay with Comfort Inn when we visit again.

The location is great and easy to find! Walmart is literally across the street and there are multiple food options within walking distance. The check in process was quick and easy. Staff was nice and friendly- the nighttime front desk agent went above and beyond to find me extra makeup remover wipes at 1am and then delivered it to the room.

The room was very clean and also spacious. The bed was super soft and comfy. And overall, the entire atmosphere was quiet and we had a beautiful view of the mountains.

Every staff person wore a mask and we received complimentary hand sanitizer upon check in. Breakfast consisted of individually wrapped items for grab and go. There was lemon water and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby.

We will definitely return if we're in the area again.

Very very comfortable beds. I got great sleep there. They had the typical free continental breakfast but the service by the attendant is the best. I think the elevators could be a little cleaner, but but this was the only time the elevators had been in need of cleaning. There were two or three Little League All-Star baseball team staying there so I'm sure the facilities team had their hands full. I recommend this place highly.

Hotel is extremely clean and updated. Gym is spacious and the pool is great overlooking the mountains. This hotel is as nice as it can get for the price. The front desk people are some of the kindest I have met. Customer service is excellent here, and the breakfast is good. About 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountains.

We stayed here 4 nights to evacuate the hurricane and were given a discount for evacuating and were allowed to keep our pets for free. Most other hotels we called did not offer this.

Only complaint is no hot tub.

Very, very nice motel. I love having the ice machine and laundry on every floor. Comfortable beds and soft pillows. Pretty good breakfast area with waffles, scrambled eggs, and cereals every day. Everyone on their staff that I dealt with were wonderful and very helpful. Thank you all.

We were only able to stay one night out of the three we reserved having to return home early but this was a very nice hotel a little tricky to get to but I would definitely stay here again very clean room and beds were great they have a really good breakfast on the morning pool had a amazing view.

Truly outstanding! - Our stay was an unexpected one (involving the failure of my Prius's BIG battery) but we couldn't have been more satisfied. I got the impression this was a fairly new hotel.

The front desk staff was exceptional - as was the guy staffing the breakfast bar. breakfast, incidentally, was unexpectedly good. I was surprised that this level of breakfast was included in the cost of the room.

The room was immaculate.

When I called Enterprise to rent a car (remember, our car failed us) - the Enterprise guy asked me about the hotel because he didn't know anything about it. I definitely told him it was a great place to stay.

It really is.

The rooms were very nice. HOWEVER, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU MAKE YPUR BATH TUBS NON-SLIP. My granddaughter and I both nearly slipped while showering.

Someone mat slip and fall and hurt themselves. And you'd have a lawsuit on your hands. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this. But please take note.

Excellent place to stay! We've been here once before, and came back to stay the night again because of our great stay previously! They have a great pool and workout room too!

The best part by far was the great service by Justin, he worked as the host of the breakfast in the morning and deserves a raise. This man was the most attentive, kind, hardest working hotel employee I've ever had the pleasuee of meeting. Was always checking food, replacing what was getting low, cleaning plates for people, and best of all stopping by each table to make sure everything was tasting good for them.

10/10 would recommend this place for a good nights rest, a great breakfast and some relaxation!

This hotel was so much better than we could have expected. The room was clean and we had plenty of extra blankets and towels. We had a little trouble with the WiFi connecting devices. ***Note, check in the bedside table drawer for a handy card with a 1-800 number if you have the same issue.*** It was Apple related and we only waited 5-10 minutes to speak to someone. Front desk did not know how to help at all with this. It was very quiet and we were in a room next to the elevator.

My only issue was folks running up and down the hall with unattended kids in the morning. There was a rowdy bunch on our last day that were obnoxious at around 7AM and they left the kids out in the hall to wait. One of them was running around knocking on doors and I didn’t appreciate that.

Maybe the hotel could put the WiFi info card with the number some place out in the open so it’s more convenient.

Hotel was clean, great views from all sides of the hotel, breakfast was great (even have chocolate waffles), beds were comfy, staff was friendly and to top it all off we had issues with the washing machine so maintenance took their time to take our laundry to their machines and take care of it for us! Also extended our checkout time so we could get the laundry taken care of! All together great experience and the price was completely reasonable. I recommend this hotel to anyone

Had the best experience here... Have stayed at many hotels but none were as friendly and welcoming as this one. From the start the front desk, to housekeeping everyone was so nice. But the man who makes breakfast was especially friendly and cheerful, he made sure to go above and beyond.. I even seen someone be kind of rude to him and he handled it with so much grace and kindness. Also they have a nice gym and lots of things around. If i ever visit the area again i will absolutley be back.
