Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greensboro Wendover

Normally I don't give reviews while I'm still there, but I'll make an exception here. I really like the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Greensboro Wendover. The rooms are newly renovated and are a nice size. Above all, the room is pleasantly quiet and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. Room cleaning takes place every 2 days, which is absolutely fine for me.

The reception staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile and kind words when you walk in the entrance. Renovation work is currently taking place in the lobby, but I don't find it disturbing at all. The breakfast is not really good for me as a European, but it is absolutely up to American standards.

After many attempts, I finally found "my" hotel in Greensboro and will definitely check in here again the next time I visit this beautiful city.

We stayed for one night and had a terrific room with a king size bed. The room was newly remodeled, clean, with a refrigerator, microwave and sitting area.. The bathroom was awesome with a great shower. The continental breakfast had everything you could want with service personnel constantly monitoring to refresh items. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was excellent. When we arrived, we skipped the desk and used our mobile key. When we got into our room, it was very clean, had a pleasant smell, and was a comfortable temperature. We were able to adjust the thermostat for sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the 4th floor was quiet. The shower was clean with plenty of hot water. We ate a decent breakfast that is provided. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

I spent a week at this hotel and the people who worked there were very friendly. Their breakfast gave you several options to choose from. It was convenient to everywhere I wanted to travel to.

Great place to stay! The staff was wonderful and so very accommodating for our family of 20+ during our time there, put us all on the same floor and everything, what more could you ask for. Also, the food was way better than what I have experienced at other hotels, they definitely took care of us!

After staying at a brand new location, no way could I give this location all 5 stars for its rooms. This location did have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash though. It also offered scones. Pre-packaged scones, which was a great break from muffins.

I stayed here one night and was very impressed. The hotel has very modern accommodations. They have enough outlets and USB ports around the room. The lighting is easy to turn on and off. The restroom was well appointed, plenty of towels, adequate lighting, and they had the body wash included within the shower. I think that has become standard for all Marriott hotels? It's a great touch! The bed was very comfortable and there was a couch in my bedroom I guess it was a pull out sofa. It was nice and sturdy with pillows. Breakfast was pretty decent considering some hotels I've been to lately that only offered dry eggs. You had a spinach quiche which was out of this world delicious. They had bacon, sausage biscuits, packaged waffles, packaged bagels, and other pastries. They had fruit, variety of juices, and coffees. I didn't check out the other areas of the hotel like to find out if they had a gym a pool or anything. I typically don't really care about those amenities because I don't use them. The hotel was in a good location that is close to a lot of shopping if you're in the area for a few days and need to do so. You could walk to a few restaurants because they're very close by. And that is coming from someone who doesn't like to walk! This is just an all-around quality hotel!!!

Easily accessible but still has a secluded, quiet feel. Service was exceptional and very friendly, rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was basic and edible but I'd probably not bother with it again. Unfortunately, that seems pretty standard for hotels in this day and age. Overall, a great experience

Perfect for a visit with our daughter - only 5 minutes from her apartment. Room was clean, the plugs for electronics worked, (not always the case at a lot of hotels, which I don't understand) and we were able to park fairly close to the door. Breakfast was adequate. Nice that coffee was available during the day. Were there for 3 nights and no complaints! 😀

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. At checkout they recognized us from the pool and asked if we left a life vest, they even ran back to the pool to get it for us. Accommodating and allowed us to cut our reservation short due to weather concerns and reimbursemed us for the second night.

Nice hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable, and loved the towel art in the bathrooms (swans). Breakfast was decent. Good indoor pool. Although the hotel was completely sold out, it was so quiet that we wouldn't have known.

This hotel is a great value. Many places would charge double for the room you get. And I was able to walk to good shops and good restaurants. Staff was beyond nice and super helpful.

Really clean and nice rooms. Make sure you book your pool time when checking in, they only have certain spots available but the upside is you get the pool to yourself. A lot of snack options. The most comfortable pillows and beds I’ve ever slept on. Tv is really small but definitely enjoyed our stay.

The moment my friend and I arrived from a 7 hour drive we were able to kick back and relax. All of the staff and breakfast meals were great! Marriott brand hotels have been my main choice of hotels to use as extended stays. Vacationing in Greensboro North Carolina was a great! experience!

Upon checking out yesterday, we shared with the staff that ALL staff we came into contact far exceeds the norm. We experienced service as it should be. The management should be very proud of how all personnel treats guests. Ms. Kim, Melba and Liz sure keep a very nice breakfast bar rolling for guest. It was special to see how they made folks feel welcome like it was home!

I've stayed @ this same hotel several times over past years along with one of the sister hotels near by. The hotel and rooms are always clean. The staff very friendly. Unfortunately, this stay I did get very sick after eating breakfast the last day. I did feel that the sausage & potato dish with peppers & onions had not been fully cooked. I ended up vommitting and in bed most of the next day. I did not use the pool this visit, but have in the past. It's nice to find a hotel with inside pool to use when visiting out of season.
