Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greensboro Coliseum Area

I cannot overstate how pleasant the staff here made our stay. We are very frequent travelers and often stay at much more expensive properties, but rarely have I seen staff members who seem so genuinely friendly and concerned with creating a welcoming atmosphere. It made the whole experience feel like something from a much more expensive level of accommodations.

Two of the most notable folks were working the breakfast area (Shirley and Charles). They greeted every guest, checked frequently to make sure no one needed anything, and kept the whole area immaculately clean and well-stocked. Even the lady bringing up the fresh linens in the elevator in the morning warmly greeted us, made sure we had a good stay, and wished us well on our way out.

The culture seems to extend to the care they take to keep the rooms and other facilities clean. My wife's first reaction when we walked into the room was "Is this place brand new?" And the fitness center was similarly pristine.

Without hesitation, this will be our default hotel whenever we are in Greensboro from now on.

I travel alot for college softball, and was in town for a tournament at UNCG . I wish I got her name , but the check in lady needs a raise! She was the most kind, genuine person I've met at a hotel!. I had started to believe customer service was a thing of the past, but she was a pleasant surprise! I talked to her by phone the day before, she remembered me, and let me check in early she an 8hr drive. We spoke several times during my 2 night stay. I wished she was there upon check out so I could have told her in person. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Room was great too. Would definitely stay again.

Basic hotel as expected, but spotlessly clean and every single staff member we ran into was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Shirley(?) and Charles at breakfast kept everything tidy and well stocked, and made everyone feel welcome.

Isaac at the front desk is amazing. Super kind and genuine plus extremely helpful. He deserves to be recognized. The hotel room was nice and clean. The only thing not perfect was the stairwells being dirty, but I could care less personally.
I previously had a bad experience at this hotel, but this time was much improved.

Nice and smooth check in. I’ve been to many Marriott properties and the hospitality from this guy was the best so far I must say!! Ask for Isaac he was amazing!!

We arrived at midnight. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good- the kids enjoyed it. They were accommodating and welcoming.

I stayed here for 5 nights during high point market. I was very happy with my stay! The free shuttle takes you to and from HP, the hotel is VERY clean, and the staff is wonderful!! Can’t wait to go back in April! Thank you for making my stay so great September, Sarah and Renita! You were all absolutely amazing!!!

The start of the stay was a little rocky, but Miss Joyce at the front Desk and Miss Kim were amazing and catered to my every need. They are the shining stars at this Marriot.

I enjoyed my Friday to Sunday stay here for a Sat graduation. This location sits about 12 miles from the Piedmont Airport.

My single room was clean and the bathroom-shower water became hot within 2 late night minutes.

I crashed on the sofa bed, as I was staying with family, and the concierge was hospitable enough to provide me with a comforter. A sheet and pillow were included in the room.

Breakfast was a pepper, cheese omlette one night and a package egg, cheese and turkey or ham croissant the next two mornings. Am assortment of juice, chocolate and blueberry muffins, and bagels were available both days along with coffee which was open from 6:30 am to 9:30 am.

I noticed a gym area with a relatively large space but there was only a stationary bench and an assortment of light weights on a rack.

Very good ,enjoy breakfast and pool, hospitality.

The front desk staff was excellent, very polite to me and my granddaughter. Please give the two ladies at the front desk, I think their name is Renita and Ella. Please give them my Thanks on being professional and polite on my two day stay .

An older hotel surrounded by several other hotels. Near restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My daughter left a dress in her room and they even mailed it to us! That kind of service is rare these days.

The staff and this hotel was Very nice.Staff was helpful and we will be staying here again when we come in this area. Breakfast Bar was great had good options.

Hotel was clean; parking lot was well-lit, and staff was accommodating (shout out to Kim at the front desk for helping me at check-out). Breakfast was hot but "ok."

The stay at Fairfield Inn was Great.
Staff was fantastic and extremely nice including housekeeping.
Room was very clean. Only issue was people staying room next to ours but you can't help stupid! Motel was Great.

This is a nice hotel. The location is close to everything but there is also alot of night life going on.

Folks were nice. Good security. Breakfast was meh but typical. A repeat.
