Edward Mendoza Municipal Park

Took my daughter and grandson here while we visited my oldest daughter. It's a wonderful play ground. They loved it

It's a great place and a safe place to take your children to have loads of fun expecially at Spring Fling

Great place to take your young children to play, practice baseball, or play catch!

I was one of the people who, way back in the day, worked on building Mendoza park. I and fellow students had to walk across the clay that was being formed into baseball fields and pick up rocks. We picked up buckets of rocks every day to make sure the field didn't have rocks. These days, graffiti had made the 3rd party shelter so ugly. Why would any one believe anyone wanted to say that mess. People throw down a lot of trash, the camping areas are gone and there are concrete curb stops all over the place, it's weird. I'll bet I've spent more time at this park than any home I've ever lived in. It was so fun to come late at night and swing or sit and talk with a friend. Park closes at dark now though. It used to be more fun there but it's still ok. Fields don't look so good anymore. Maybe it's just an off summer.

It's a little bit closer to the main Hwy 87 and the Hwy 690 State Road but it's well maintained and maintenance if you don't mind all of the traffic around 6:00am till 4:00pm is when the traffic is the worst in this area but other than that it's a nice place to get a burial plots.

We had an Easter egg hunt there for the kiddos on 17APR22, they had a great time! They ride their scooters and played in the park.
FYI: The pavilions require a reservation.

We visit here often. My daughter always has a blast. It's always clean and well kept, as well as family friendly and we'll monitored. Great place to have a family day/picnic.

Kids had a great time, very nice park with multiple playground sets, not a ton of swings though. Great community and friendly visitors.

Nice park. My kids have cheerleading and flag football practices here. I also like the playground set up where there's stuff for little ones and some for bigger kids

Always a good place to spend the day with the family. You can grill out in the picnic area and there's plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy

Took the kids here to practice soccer. It's a really nice park especially if you're practicing for any type of sport.

The kids have a great time there's baseball fields, open fields, playground and it's kept very to relatively clean

Great park place to have a hangout and a lovely get-together. I really enjoyed myself the time I was there. Really loved it.

Nice place to take the whole family let the children play then have a family picnic. During the summer this is what my family and I do at least twice a week.

My daughter loves to play here we always go on school days and she usually has the park to herself

Its a park with 3 playsets. I need not say more. We love this place.
