Food Lion

Very nice store, the folks at the deli were awesome. They were out of fried chicken sandwiches (Chick-fil-A good) around lunch and I asked about more and the lady behind the counter was more than happy to fix me a fresh one!

Their produce is always fresh, the employees are always helpful. Very clean bathrooms.

The store is always cleaned. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shelves are lowered in this store so that everyone can access what they need even if it's on the top shelf.

This Food Lion is always clean and has a very professional and helpful staff. Their self checkout is the best, there is always someone there to help immediately rather than having to wait for someone to notice. I have never had to wait for a line to open if I didn't use self check out as they usually have two or three lines open. This Food Lion and the one in Seaside are the best.

This Food Lion is always busy, but the staff keep it clean. I love shopping here but the layout is a little different than other Food Lions I have frequented.

Best fresh fruit and veggies in town!

Everyone there is almost always very friendly and helpful. They have had problems keeping some things in stock lately, but so does everyone else. They get a solid 5 stars from me and my family!

They can never keep the same people working there. I don't know if it's management or upper management but they use to have some great employees that worked there,but seems like every since Mr.Bob went to a different store it's been very different. I rarely even shop there. I mainly do my shopping at Food Lion at Holden Beach,they do manage to keep the same employees.

The store is always clean, well stocked, and organized. Additionally, the Shop & Earn program, coupons, and weekly sales really provide multiple savings opportunities.

Food Lion is one of the cleanest, courteous and easiest stores I have ever shopped at. They are always well stocked, the employees are very happy to help you and the prices are set for budget conscious customers but they do not sacrifice quality. I have shopped at Food Lion for over 30 years and love it.

Great atmosphere prices and the employees are so personable! The deals are great. All though some of the meat that has been marked down is spoiled my wife and I bought lamb that was bad and when the meat comes close or at the half way mark of expiring should immediately be marked down 1/2 or less because it will only go to waste. Regardless of what the meat is be pork, beef, lamb, etc. when close to the 1/2 way expiration Mark it down over half price. Do the right thing suffer the lost and build the clientele! Word of mouth with today's economy is significant and well needed!

Great costumer service on meat department

The staff here are always helpful and efficient. They were out of the frozen item that I specifically needed and I didn't want to be one of "those people" that act like things are hidden in the back. However, when a manager asked me if I found everything I was looking for I told him of my disappointment. He stated that he had ordered it himself and promptly went and found it for me.

My Food Lion in Shallotte is the best. There are a couple ladies who've been there for years & always make my experience great. Thank you for making it happen year round. I really appreciate y'all.
