Wingate by Wyndham Greensboro/Coliseum

I was in Greensboro for the night for a medical appointment. I’ve never stayed at this hotel before. I was able to check in online which made it easier for me and the front desk clerk. The front desk clerk was very sweet, very efficient, got me checked in quickly. She understood I was traveling with my service dog Ranger and didn’t even talk about a pet fee (believe me, I’ve run into that more than I should).
The room was clean, updated and spacious. The bathroom was updated and clean as well. I did find a hair when I got in bed, but the things happen. I’m not going to get bent out of shape about it. No big deal.
One little “amenity” I loved was the water fountain in the lobby with the bottle fill station. I haven’t seen that in any other hotels. Usually the hotel tries to sell you a bottle of water for $5. It’s just a little touch that made a big difference for me. I will definitely be staying here every time I come to Greensboro. Thank you!

This Hotel is in the perfect location. If you don't have a car, you will be fine. So much in walking distance.
The staff was awesome. Everyone we encountered was always friendly.

This hotel was a blessing our hotel that we originally booked was cancelled on our way from Florida to Greensboro I googled for a nearby hotel an saw the Wingate the staff were kind an accommodating to our needs.We would stay there again. In that area don’t just look at the pics for the hotels they can be misleading but this one I can tell you bug free decent breakfast an good customer service

Had a wonderful experience! Room was very nice and clean! Employees were great, awesome breakfast, very comfortable and really convenient to attractions in the area! Couldn't be more pleased! Next time in the area I will check in again!

This lovely hotel is being refurbished. But don't let that stop you from staying. The room was comfortable. The only thing i didn't like was the placement of the bed next to the air conditioning unit. Couldn't access bed from that side.

I had an exceptional stay at the hotel. The staff’s service was impeccable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Special shoutout to Sonya for her wonderful hospitality! The spacious room struck the perfect balance between comfort and luxury. A solid 5 star experience !

Great location close to conference center at a much lower price. If you don't mind the walk, it is within walking distance to the conference center, a few restaurants, Walgreens, & a neighborhood Walmart. Can't wait to see what it looks like when renovations are completed. I was glad I had a sleep mask because my 2nd floor window faced the bright parking lot lights and the dark shade did not pull across the window all the way. Another reviewer mentioned bed to close to AC. My room had this also,but was not an issue for me as I was flying solo. The breakfast was great with meat protein, yogurt, pancakes, etc... desk staff was friendly and allowed a slightly early check in. Would stay here again if I'm in the area.

The rooms were clean, didn't see much else because it was late when I got there.
It was an emergency for me and Sonia made sure I had a room. I was very shaken up, by the time she got me checked in, I was feeling relaxed and safe. I would definitely go get again.

The front desk was hot and miss. The option was not the greatest. But it's a good place to stay, close to highway and restaurants

This was one of the better hotels I've stayed in, much cleaner and better services than I expected for the price. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town. Dog fee was $30/night during my stay.

The room was very nice. It had a great tub -- with jets! -- and plenty of toiletries. The bed was comfortable and clean. I could not figure out how to work the coffee machine, but that was on me, not the staff here. Parking was easy. Breakfast was warm and tasty. This location was close to a bunch of great Vietnamese food and bakeries and to the arboretum which my dog and I visited on our way out of town.

Room was amazing. Slept like a baby. The manager really helped me out in explaining anything I didn't understand. Will definitely use this hotel again.

I checked in Friday and was allowed to check in early. The staff was very accommodating. The young lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be going back.

We planned on staying at this hotel for one night but we ended up booking a total of three nights and had the best experience with Ms Staci and the rest of the staff. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was super good. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Overall a great choice. The room was big with separate sitting area, comfortable beds, easy check-in, and a nice breakfast. Close to Coliseum and restaurants. Will be back.

The front desk staff were SO friendly!!! I had a let's say...medical problem? And they were very helpful/accommodating. I noticed no problems with the cleanliness of the rooms, and overall it was just a model experience for this price range.

Great stay. The room was comfortable, and clean. Good hot water in shower. It was also a quiet place. They served a hot breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

Being a hotel in Greensboro this one is one of the best! My friend came here out of town and stayed here this weekend and their room was clean, had a fresh smell, it was quiet at night, the air made the room feel sooooo good and the beds was so soft, clean, comfortable and I can go on and on I don’t even remember falling asleep because I knocked out talking because I was so relaxed! The people at the front desk was so friendly that we actually stood there and had a whole conversation which happens very little now and days! The breakfast had so many different options to choose from! Etc. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese that you can throw on a sandwich, pancakes one morning and waffles the next, fruit, cereal, oats, fruit, fruit juices and coffee! Also another good thing about this hotel is that you can bring your fur baby! I saw so many doggies I fell in love! Thank y’all for being a fantastic hotel and when my friend comes back in town this will be our first option to choose from!

The hotel staff was amazing. The room smelled amazing. Not to strong not to much. The room was clean. The jetted tub was amazing and very relaxing. The hotel could use a update. But I would recommend!!!
