Greensboro-High Point Marriott Airport

I just want to say that I had the best experience during my stay at this Marriott. I was traveling for business and the room was clean and fresh.
I spent some time at the bar/restaurant and the bartender I believe she said her name was Sylvie. She was so attentive and made me feel so comfortable. She recommended the salmon which was out of this world (credit to the cook as well) sitting alone at the bar is never comfortable while traveling for work but the bartender made it so welcoming and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this Marriott to my colleagues. Thank you Sylvie. You absolutely enjoy your job

Stayed here during the Junior Olympics that was being hosted in Greensboro. I was a bit skeptical being that it's LITERALLY located within the airport property (we're talking practically attached to the airport's parking garage!) . . . but honestly, I don't recall hearing a single plane taking off or landing the entire week we were there! The rooms are pretty standard . . . nothing out of the ordinary to note. The indoor / outdoor pool was fun for the kids, however they do close it during "inclement weather" (i.e rain). The location is a bit of a catch twenty-two . . . it's isolated from pretty much EVERYTHING, and therefore quiet and extremely safe . . . however, be prepared to drive a good 10-15mins in order to go ANYWHERE. That being said though, once you do make it out of the airport; there's TONS of things to see & do within a reasonable distance.

Shining star award goes to the lady working nonstop at the front desk!! I'm kicking myself for not catching her name, but I can tell you that she doesn't drink coffee; and prefers ginger ale instead! Lol She's an absolute GEM and a true asset to the Marriott family! I don't think there was a single minute of the day I didn't see her onsite multitasking 15 different things at once . . . all while doing so with a positive attitude and a warming smile!

If we're ever in the area again, we will DEFINITELY be staying at this location.

I stayed at this hotel the day before my wedding and the day after. I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do for our special day. Avilette ( I may have spelled it wrong) did such wonderful service. She said she can see what she can do for us. On the day of the wedding we came back tired and thirsty. When we were waiting for the elevator, she came out with a tray of champagne and cheese/fruit tray. We were beyond grateful since we already had an exhausting day this was a ray of sunshine. I am so thankful for their service and thank you so much for making our special day special. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody who wants exceptional service!!!!!

Everything is wonderful about this hotel. We've stayed there several times for an annual convention. The only thing I could ever say isn't really great is the food that is served for our banquets. Other than that, everything is fantastic.

We have been stopping at this property for over 20 years and always recieve a warm welcome. The property is spacious, clean and comfortable and consistent. Their restaurant is excellent! Cold draft beer, great food and the breakfast is one of the best I have had at a Marriott property. The staff that work here always try to make it like your "home away from home" and have worked at this property for a long time. We had a bit of a exigent circumstance that arose with us (nothing to do with them) and Ms Alvette at the front desk really helped us work thru and accommodate us. Also the folks in the restaurant are really great. Joanne, Deck, Christine and Nneka the Mr are the best. Will be back!

The hotel has a great little restaurant serving all day and evening. Great coffee and breakfast and dinners. Rooms are quiet and beds comfy. No noise problems. All toiletries for you and clean. Little area with snacks and whatnot, but at regular prices, which was refreshing. The top floor has a concierge area for platinum members with daily small bites and drinks. All in all, a solid 5 out of 5.

Couldn't get closer to the airport if you tried. Nice, clean everything. Very quiet. There is a short walking path, a gym, an indoor pool and outdoor pool. No hot tub. Bar and restaurant tho we didn't use either. Only had a shower. Wouldve liked a tub or a hot tub. No free wifi or breakfast. Plenty of parking.

The staff here was very helpful with trying to get me connected to the internet with a work computer that uses a VPN. The room was comfortable and clean. The area felt safe. We would definitely stay here again if in the Greensboro area.

This hotel surpassed everything I expected & more. The staff were all incredible, if you had a question or a need they were there to help you, the rooms were sparkling clean, it was nice and quiet even though it was nearly full. They have coffee, flavored creamer, and all the other fixings in your room. Great hair care products, the shower was nice and roomy (they don't have tubs tho if that's something you require) There is a restaurant with bar and the absolute most wonderful young bartender lady who works in there named Kamysha. The cook is also fantastic, she truly loves her job. The only downsides were: you can't walk anywhere except one restaurant if you don't have a car, the pool is way too cold and the airport shuttles don't start until 4am. Unfortunately we had to be at the airport the following morning after staying here one night so we chose to stay somewhere closer that had a 24 hour shuttle, but that was a big mistake. The other hotel cost more money and lacked nearly every single thing the Marriott had plus had many other issues but I'll post those under their hotel review. My advice is to stay here, just don't forget your wet suit to stay warm enough on the pool ;) and just get an Uber or a taxi to take you to the airport if the shuttle is too late for your flight, Great work Marriott team. All the employees here deserve accolades!!!

Rooms are good. Conveniently located. Staff is friendly. (RUBY IN CONCIERGE IS AMAZING).
Pool was open for the first time in the past couple years we've stayed here, hot tub still out of order.

This is a luxury hotel located on the airport property, 4 pins 📌📌📌📌. We attended our Annual UCC Southern Conference here. There were a lot of parking spaces available that remained full from the time of our arrival. This could be attributed to the large number of conference spaces it had that was simultaneously ongoing. Our room had a refrigerator, king-size bed, microwave, and a full sized flat screen TV. Our window view from the 3 floor overlooked the front entrance and parking. Although we were at the airport, we did not hear aircraft noises. It was a fascinating hotel with its own bar and dining room spaces. I would recommend this place for a romantic getaway, business, or conferences. We plan to return for another visit because it has easy access. If you're in the area, say looking for a quiet stop over, this would be the place. Got to run...thanks for stopping by and catching up. Be sure to follow, watch out for the stormy weather. Ciao!

This hotel has a decent bar and if you’re a reward member the lounge upstairs has decent hors d’oeuvres in the evening, dessert, and they offer a quick breakfast in the morning as well. Ruby, the breakfast attendant, is the best!! The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the housekeeping keeps up with the rooms. I love their gym space and they do have a pool. I enjoy sitting out in their pavilion and although it’s next to the airport, it’s a nice comfortable outside area that blocks traffic.

This hotel is beautiful with a lot of onsite entertainment for the guests. I loved it and I would recommend a visit to anyone and everyone.

The staff here was super sweet and had great mannerism, they all were very efficient and kind. We enjoyed our stay and even though nothing is right next to the hotel except the airport which I did appreciate being close to the airport that was super convenient, to go out wasn't a far drive to get to other places, which I liked as well! I enjoyed the cocktails they were delicious! Until next time! Happy New Year's!

10/2022: Amazing again a year later! The staff at this hotel are just fantastic.

10/2021: The staff at this hotel are seriously top notch! The facility was clean (not spartan, but I have high cleanliness standards, and I would easily stay here again....so certainly very clean!).
Upon arrival the digital check in was super easy & worked seamlessly, front desk staff were just amazing (we requested a room change) and across 2 days I spoke to 5-6 folks at the front for questions & everyone was beyond helpful!
Restaurant on site has very decent food, but the service & management are seriously-fabulous! I never stood anywhere for more than a few seconds without being asked if I'd been helped. And they make every effort to go above and beyond - I was SO IMPRESSED!
Rooms were nicely updated (we're on the second floor, not sure about the others). FYI: second floor is lobby level, first floor is pool level which is down one.
Our group with teens loved the indoor-outdoor pool and lots of space to sit as parents to mingle together (lots of seating outside!).
This will be our new go-to for GBO!

The Greensboro airport is literally across the street but because of fencing you would have to walk quite a ways to get to it. Shuttle service is 24 hours a day and very good but it's still at least about a 10 minute drive just to get to the airport across the street by the shuttle. The shuttle service and Driver were both excellent! Road construction in the area makes it a little bit less accessible than it will be in the future!

We recently stayed at the Marriott Airport for our wedding festivities. We had 30 rooms blocked with friends and family flying in from different locations. The Marriott shuttle from the airport was absolutely perfect. When guests arrived, they were treated extra special being a part of our wedding and being the bride, and I can honestly say there was such peace of mind throughout the entire weekend! We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Marriott and felt like royalty! Each staff member took a special part in our wedding celebrations, and we couldn't have done it without them! The Due South staff serving my large groups of Italian/Southern families filled the dining area and was still cared for with the most extraordinary hospitality. We worked with Amber coordinating our plans from room blocks, hotel gift bags, and rehearsal dinner, and everything discussed was brought to life to every detail; it was perfect. Finally, I must mention Bril and Lillian at the front desk. Talk about hospitality! They truly made my husband and I felt like king and queen and continued that feeling with my friends and family! They were equally excited and happy for us as the rest of our group. From ensuring our rooms were perfect, guests were satisfied, and they went above and beyond by extending a helping hand outside their job duties! We loved every minute that was spent at the Marriott. Thank you for everything! It truly means so much to the world to us!

The pool looked nice. The bedrooms were nice and I really liked the bathroom. I also was very impressed that you had to really listen hard to hear an airplane flying overhead. The lobby area and bar area were nice and clean. The parking lot was set up a little weird, but, was also pretty clean. I would definitely stay here again....

My entire family stayed at the hotel on Christmas night, and the front desk associate Lillian was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel welcomed, and accommodated us so that we could be on the same floor. We were visiting from three states, and she ensured that we got to enjoy our limited time together. I will definitely return!

Marriott Greensboro Airport. We arrived on Sunday and was greeted by Lillian K at the front desk. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. We were unaware the hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday. She offered us a list of the restaurants in the area with a large variety of food that would deliver to our hotel! We checked into our room to find a clean, modern well decorated room. We took her suggestion and ordered from Home slice pizza and restaurant. It was delicious. The Hotel serves breakfast from 6 am and has shuttle service to the airport!!! We highly recommend this hotel it is convenient to the airport for a early morning flight.
