Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker barrel is always a fun experience. Love going around the store with lots of interesting things to see.
Service is always great.
Comfort food is so delicious.
They have a fun kids menu with activities and a table peg game to keep the whole family entertained.

My mom, brother, and I came in on July 4th and Brittany was our server. She was absolutely amazing, best server we’ve had. Not only was she very nice and pleasant, but had great service and was one step ahead with everything. She deserves recognition

I like the food. I am more enthusiastic about shopping at Cracker Barrel. I can't believe the Halloween and Fall items are already on display. The cute little baby clothes, stylish classy ladies' clothing, candles, and decor items are irresistible.

The food was good. Ate a country boy breakfast. The eggs were the BEST over easy I have ever eaten. Generous portion of bacon. The biscuits were delicious and hot. Our waitress was sweet and good at her job.

Food was good. We took advantage of the $3.99 sirloin steak add-on for breakfast. The Wi-Fi was solid and I was able to get some work done while we ate.

Delicious food and good service in a home environment! Love watching perfect strangers strike up conversations, and joke with folks!

I stop for breakfast whenever I'm traveling in the area. Love the Old Timers Breakfast! I ask for a large helping of gravy because I like it on biscuits and the breakfast casserole.

(4/9/24) Still one of my favorites! I had Country Fried Steak, Dumplings, Breakfast Casserole, Home Style Green Beans, Biscuits and extra Gravy. Everything was delicious! I also bought two $5 Take-home meals. The Country Fried Steak was so tender and flavorful!

Can you really go wrong at a cracker barrel... Pretty consistent restaurant with staff and food. Love that they had an app (not like we need more apps on our phones) but it was convenient to pay and I only use apps that give some sort of incentive which this one does.

Atmosphere is ok, but this is just another restaurant that’s a disappointment in Meridian. We ordered from there tonight and nothing… Not a single bit of food… had seasoning in it. Bland, cold, and gross!
And the food has been a disappointment the last couple times we’ve been. It’s just really not that good anymore.
Food was cooked in a timely manner & nothing was missing. That’s the only good part of it.

The service was excellent! Our waitress, Lataja is awesome!!! She was very attentive to all her customers and super friendly. She made us feel right at home. We were served cold mashed potatoes, and that is the reason for only four stars.

The food was great the night I stopped for dinner. The cube steak and gravy were notable for the night. I would have to say, though; the service was prolonged. My biscuits did not come out until I got my food, and even though I asked for honey I never received it. The gift shop was astonishing, if I may add. I found several different owl items, along with a Bob Ross magnet.

The thing about a chain is that you know what to expect when you stop there. The problem with a chain is that sometimes an individual store doesn't live up to those expectations.

Out of the many stops at Cracker Barrel for an on the road dinner, this one stands out because the service was slow and the pancakes were cold when they were served. This is not the usual way they perform.

The good news they have done cool new Christmas items.

We went out for a girls day with my daughter, mother, and sister in law and had the best time. It was on a Sunday and the restaurant was full but not packed. We didn't even have to wait since the church crowd was leaving. We had free beignets for downloading the app. It was a one time deal but we'll worth it, they were sooo good. I love the down home cooking and they never disappoint!!!

I waited for the fried chicken and it was well worth the wait. Crispy, hot, juicy and quite delicious! The server was great as she told me it was cooked to order and would take 20-25 minutes. I was not in a hurry so I waited, very professional to let me know the wait time. Consistency as other Cracker Barrel stores so I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Good country food! I got steak and chicken with corn and Cole slaw. We had sweet tea and beer. We didn’t have to wait. Bathrooms were clean. Kid and disable friendly.

I don’t go to Cracker Barrel often. However, when I do I always find something delicious! Today I had the egg and steak casserole, and a peach mimosa and it was delicious filling and plenty to eat.
The lady who served us was an absolute delight, and I could tell she really enjoyed being there. You don’t normally see that too often. Especially these days.

Like always we had a great experience, and I have nothing but good things to say about the place, We( my wife and I) highly recommend it, if you need a good home cooked food, with a unbelievable price, easy off easy on the highway, and an always warm welcome there is Cracker Barrel 😄

Although crowded on the day we went, they found us a great table. We ordered the catfish. It was as good or better than any catfish house we'd been to. Superb service from the waitress. A great experience for sure.

Our service was over the top. Our Server was over the top! He was attentive, courteous, and super efficient. We’ve been Cracker Barrell customers for years and this was the best service we’ve ever received. The food was tasty and good.

Cracker barrel is always a favorite. And the best part, you are almost certain to find one anywhere you travel since they are all over. Good food, friendly people, with a warm cozy environment that reminds you of the old days and Grandma's cooking.

You really can’t go wrong with this place. Pancakes are ALWAYS on point and the staff takes good care of you. I always make a request for brown sugar and they go to the back and get it for me. Wonderful place!
