Been by this place a thousand times,stopped by for lunch today. Very pleased with the food,service,and atmosphere. Like an old fashioned deli and soda fountain. Will definitely return.

Perfect! This quaint little area with 2 vintage/antique stores nearby is such a wonderful area. How I had never heard of it before travelling through while visiting a friend is beyond me. Well worth going out of your way to find it.

The best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. The atmosphere,food and staff made it a great experience. We were visiting friends and wish we had a place like that around here. People making comments here about "my husband didn't want mayo" or "service was slow" is ridiculous. You need to enjoy the overall experience. The history of the building and the atmosphere. Food and dessert were excellent. We can't wait to visit again.

We drive one hour every month to eat at this wonderful deli. Best food anywhere. They have a fantastic cook and the atmosphere is cosy and warm. Love to see the antiques in the shop upstairs ....feels like a trip to the past.

Excellent place with old home country charm. The food is excellent. Great sandwiches and soup. The malts and ice cream is top notch. Its situated below the main antique store . Very friendly waitresses and again the food is awesome. I highly recommend this place for light meal while out hitting the local antique shops.

Look it, this is not a big elaborate restaurant. It's a tiny cafe that is typically ran by only 2 people--a cook & a server. If it's busy, you will have to be patient, but they will always take great care of you. And yes, the prices are a little high, but not for what you get. EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE. If you are wanting a quick lunch for 5$, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a quaint cafe tucked away in a small NC town, or want to take a long relaxing lunch, or just find a place to have a old-school soda and work at your laptop for a while, this is your place.

This is an interesting place to eat and visit. Great sandwiches and pie. It's in the bottom of an antique store on and there are several more antique shops on the same street. There is a street fair here in the spring and fall when it is busy, but otherwise it's a quiet little area that's great for a romantic or relaxing stroll. Many of the area shops are closed the first part of the week.

It's not your regular deli, it was awesome. It is now one of our favorite places and we will be going back even though it's a good 25-minute drive from our house. I can't wait to take friends and family.

Love the the historic feel. Beautifully kept. Delicious food and drink. Best Rubin sandwich I've had in town so far. Courteous workers. Great experience overall.

We just had a lovely lunch! It was like visiting an old friend who was trying to impress us with food. Naomi was welcoming, personable and proud of her deli!

Fantastic Deli and fabulous desserts we missed them since they were closed to give the employees a break for summer but that is how cool of an establishment they are.. they actually give their employees some well-deserved time off

You have to go here! Quaint deli and old fashion ice cream shoppe with delicious food and great service. Highly recommend! You can also browse the antique store.

The atmosphere is pure good old days and the Dewberry cobbler is to die for. I drove all the way from Pennsylvania just to taste the cobbler and wasnt disappointed.
