Margie's Mixing Bowl

I live in Montana and my best friend is in Mississippi as a Navy officer on base. She has had a rough few months and her birthday is coming up and I wanted to do something nice for her. I reached out to Margie's and they were able to put together a dozen unicorn themed cupcakes and my friends amazing house cleaner picked them up and brought them to her so they would not melt in the Mississippi heat. I love supporting local no matter who's local it is and Margie's did a great job! It is a reminder of how simple and nice things can be when we care about each other, this local bakery and hardworking housekeeper were willing to help someone they did not know and did an amazing job and made a super special day for my friend and her kids (her husband is currently oversees).THANK YOU!!!!

I pull up to what I think is a normal house and walk into the most delicious smells ever..there right as you walk in staring you right in the face is a glass case with the cuties cupcakes, cookies that I ever laid eyes upon..So right away you already know what's about to go down..it's cupcake time..I did wince a bit at price, but let me tell you..they were so worth it..

I requested a cake for my wife's Graduation party and Margie went above and beyond great size and Decor everyone got a chance to enjoy and more..... very fluffy very moist....definitely recommend to anyone

We were passing through Meridian and decided to stop here. Best decision we made. We got a variety of cupcakes. Hands down some of the best cake ever! I am picky on wedding cake flavor but they nailed it! And the sweetest people/owner!
We will have to return one day!

If you're looking for a cake I definitely recommend this place. The quality was fantastic and it tastes amazing, but I want you to know how I know the quality is so fantastic. I went to go pick up this cake on the day of my son's first birthday party and on the way home I stopped by the Dollar Tree to get some balloons. Well long story short I locked my key in the trunk of my car and it took an hour to get my key out. This was on a hot day in the hot sun in a hot black car and that icing didn't melt and the cake stayed perfect. So if you need a cake I definitely recommend you come here. Also the price is great too.

Margie makes the best cakes and cupcakes that I have ever eaten and her prices are very reasonable. She made my daughter's baby shower cake and it was delicious. Everyone asked where it came from and now my sister has ordered her wedding cake from her. She is very personable and down to earth which made my sister feel at ease. She also sent multiple cupcakes for her and future husband to sample at NO cost.

I have purchased every thing from baby shower cakes on the fly cupcakes to my daughters wedding cake. They are always delicious, the customer service is warm and friendly. Businesses like this are why you shop local and support our on small town businesses!

Margie was fabulous in resolving a miscommunication about the cake design for my mother's 90th birthday. She really listened to our feedback and remade a beautiful cake that tasted fantastic. So many people at our party ask where we got the cake. So, I expect Margie will be getting a few more 5 star reviews again soon. Thank you Margie for all your help in making our party a wonderful success.

First time using them for my 27th birthday and it was gorgeous and delicious.defenitly recommend.

Went in last minute to get a couple cupcakes for my birthday and I have to admit the cupcakes didn't last more than five minutes after getting into the car. My husband had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and I had the Red Velvet Cheesecake. They were perfectly baked and I was so happy to find that the frosting on each wasn't a sugar bomb in your mouth! Normally I have to scrape off over half the frosting that's on most cupcakes because eating all of it makes me feel sick. Not the case here! I'm so happy that I found a bakery in town because I'm very new here and I love sweets. I've convinced my husband I'll need a cake from here for next year's birthday!

She did my daughter's birthday cake and cupcakes of unicorns! We ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It wasn't dry, it was very tasty and not at all too sweet. Highly recommend.

We stopped in to purchase a variety of cupcakes. They were all delicious, very flavorful and nicely iced, very pretty.

The staff was very helpful and informative. She was very nice. We will be back!

Fantastic. I love coming here every time I'm in town. The girls love it after a dance recital or for a class party, although like all gourmet cupcakes they're too expensive to buy for a class of 20 students. Perfect and delicious otherwise though!

I had a retirement cake made and it was so moist and delicious. Very pretty too. I highly recommend Margie's Mixing Bowl.

I'm a bit late on this review but was reminded just how awesome y'alls cake is when my church brought in a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake with the Margie's Mixing Bowl sticker on it.
Last May they made our sons 1st birthday cake and a smash cake with it. The cake was a cypress stump and the smash cake was the face of a bear! The cakes were not only nice in presintation but tastey too! I cant wait to pull off another great theme and watch what kind of cool cake y'all pull off this time!! --Terrance and Cheyenne Keene

I love that we have Margie’s in North Meridian. I have stopped by on several occasions for a last-minute box of cupcakes for my co-workers. The cupcakes always look great and taste great.

Every cake/cupcake that I have had from Margie’s has been perfectly moist! They are so consistent! Never a hit or miss. Always fresh and yummy!
