Highland Park

My family and I go every weekend just about to play disc golf, and feed the ducks and geese, also the fish in the pond are amazing to watch. Nice place to take the family for a picnic, playing at the playground, basketball or just a beautiful stroll. We love this place

I was passing by the area and made the detour to the park. This amazing jewel was worth it. I will definitely be back during daylight hours.

It is a very nice park despite being in a bad neighborhood, the playground equipment is in good condition and the grounds are well kept. It is a great location for birthday parties too.

A shell of it's past glory still the water here at night offers peace ...ducks at the pond and historic landmarks ... Playground sets and exercise options galore ... Native stomping ground ...if u are the type that is weary of Aboriginal presence you may want to get a season pass but for avid adventurers and journeymen the Carousel and some of the landmarks including the Jimmie Rodgers museum may be worth dropping your nuts and taking a stroll

This is where I coach my Youth Flag Football team for parks and recreation in Meridian. It's peaceful and safe. It's even well lit at night time by stadium lights. I have Lots of memories and have had lots of fun with with my little guys.

Extremely entertaining for the whole family including your pets!!! , before everyone shoe eat and gather, but lots and lots of acreage and grass for your pets to run and play! Don't forget the more famous attractions of the train and Carousel, this place brings a lot of focus from far and wide. My experience at this park was not only one I would choose to have again, but also a pinpoint destination I would have already planned ahead of time, making special travel distance a specific reason to come to Meridian. So many times I will look for a local park in the area I am visiting, and rarely able to find ones that accommodate everything, mainly also being my pets. I parked my car and let my dogs run free without a leash, and it was amazing and definitely would visit again!!

I love this park I use to visit this place as a kid. The carousel and splash pad is refreshing. You can swim and it's about beautiful scenery. It's a great recreational place for the family and it has an onsitemusen dedicated to some dude but over all its still lovely

Highland Park is Best place in the world for me & my kids to relax and play! We've been coming here for years. From church functions, to weddings and birthday parties we have done it all at Highland Park!

Premier local park consisting of 46 acres of green space within an urban, Southern setting. The park is home to a world famous Dentzel Carousel, the only original two-row stationary menagerie in the world, and the Meridian Community College Lady Eagles Softball team. Highland Park features a pond, seasonal pool, basketball courts and a playground. Picnic slave is available by reservation.

A beautiful spacious park (acres). Benches, a pond. Different gazebos, picnic tables, and bench swings. Gorgeous shade trees.

This is a cute park with lots of families barbequing & kids playing. I enjoyed the walk I took here & would like to go back someday when the museum is open.

Love this park, avoid on Sundays if worried about safety issues, they offer swim lessons and have a nice pool
