Crechale's

I’m a truck driver and I stopped here for a meal. Place looks like it might be closed due to the owners age and not being able to upkeep but the food is phenomenal and the people are pleasant. Mouth watering food. Will stop by again!

Some of the best broiled scallops I have ever eaten. They are very appreciative of your business and want to make sure you are happy.

We have eaten at Crechales since we were both young kids & enjoy taking our own girls now. Food is so delicious that we always leave way too full. I get the broiled scallops or stuffed shrimp because no other restaurant can come close to me on those. Their steak is prime beef so my husband always chooses it. Large portions & great, friendly service! We end up leaving with a bottle of the best comeback sauce too every time. Can’t recommend this nostalgic place enough, especially if it’s for a birthday!

This place is amazing! The whole staff is super friendly, they are funny, and the owner, Mr. Bob is one of the nicest people I’ve met in the jackson area. The stuffed shrimp is amazing! The onion rings are crispy and delicious, and their house sauce is the best comeback sauce I’ve had- and you can buy some to take home! Go have your next date night here. The retro cafe with a jukebox is like taking a step back in time.

Celebrated my parents' 55 years of marriage with a fine meal. Crechale's is a classic Jackson restaurant. We all had the stuffed flounder in Louisiana butter and wine sauce. What a fantastic trip back in time!

This place is the same place I ate at when I was 8 in the 80s it was awesome then it’s awesome now it’s exactly the same so if you want new and inventive don’t come here but if you want amazing food spectacular service an old school ambience that is so down south southern and hospitable, simple and yummy with no pretentiousness eat here you will love it

A rare throwback operation packed to the rafters with locals. When you want a steak or seafood dinner just let it geaux and accept there is no better catch than Crechale’s!

A wonderful family owned place with Great service and very friendly and kind staff. Food was delicious too. We will be back.

We have lived in Colorado for 25 years and we still talk about Crechales, the only reason we go to Jackson when we return home to Mississippi.

This is the best food I have had in a while. The steak is perfectly seasoned and cooked. The seafood platter and jumbo shrimp are fresh as you can get and are perfectly cooked and all the food is hot. The atmosphere it great and the service is great. We will definitely come again and I highly highly recommend it.

Always a pleasure to eat at Bob’s, it has a great atmosphere and amazing staff but the star of the show is their high quality food.

Just a great place and also the only place I personally, will pay for steak that I dont grill.

Had not been here since the 1990's so I was back in town for a wedding & thought I'd give it a try. Still so GOOD! Nothing had changed since I was there. Same jukebox with the same great country music, same curtains, & the best part was the same great food. Staff very attentive for sure. I had the scallops. Couldn't believe they gave me twelve!! Had double salad rather than a baked potato with the wonderful comeback sauce. Could just about drink it through a straw. Love it!! Next time, I won't wait so long to go back!!!

The owner was right out front, welcoming everyone who walked in and thanking them for coming in. The food was outstanding! First time eating here, but we will be back!

Absolutely delicious stuffed crab!! Great service and up beat atmosphere. Great to see a restaurants staff smiling. Felt like a teenager again in South Jackson. Thank you Creshales staff for bringing back some normalcy much needed❤

Always love coming here to eat, great food great atmosphere! When you drive up you'll wonder why you're there, but after eating, you'll realize why you came. It's been there since 1957, you can't be open that long if it's not great! Oh, go in your birthday and get them to play the birthday song... classic!

I love this restaurant and the atmosphere. I love the stuff flounder, a little pricey but way worth the price. the food is awesome. They have the best comeback dressing and rolls. The waitress was so sweet an accommodating.

We hadn't visited Crechale's in over a year, but it was just as good as we remembered. We started with a plate of their fabulous onion rings. We ordered ribeyes for our entrée. The steaks were perfectly cooked. Service was prompt and courteous. We are looking forward to our next visit.
