What a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. David, our server was attentive, warm, and accommodating. My elderly parents were treated is kindly too. And the food? Delicious! We started with the peppers, stuffed with a scrumptious blend of cheeses. I had the scallops and leg of lamb. All was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned! And the grilled veggies and sautéed spinach: YUM. Can’t wait to return!

We went for a birthday dinner! Food was spot on, George was great! Best service, we had a dessert which is like custard baklava! I don’t remember the name but it was really good! I was full but still finished it 😆I will be back for more dinners!

One of the absolute finest restaurants in St. Louis. The service is always outstanding. Fantastic variety of flavors. The lamb is a favorite.

The food was good, we went for happy hour which made the ordering nice and simple. We also had the flaming cheese, which was fun and delicious.

This place is awesome! The food was amazing and the staff was great!! We got a chance to talk to the manager (all good things) and she was so kind and easy to talk to!

You have to get the Saganaki when your there- thats the flaming cheese they make at your table. I highly recommend trying this place out when you get a chance it is a great Experiance and will make you want to come back for more!

Mid-afternoon lunch and service was excellent. I had a fresh from the oven lamb shank that is worth making another 350 mile trip to St. Louis, just to eat again. It was incredible! The appetizers were so tasty. Order the stuffed grape leaves! Of course, the cheese stuffed peppers were equally delicious. Even the bread was crazy tasty. I can't wait to go back.

As usual all was a great experience. Their food always seem so fresh. Thank you. Been going to your restaurant for 25 years since moving from Chicago. You match their great Greek food. New Year's Eve was a big success. Dinner was exceptional.

Great happy hour deal! 😊 We love this restaurant!! We ordered Souvlaki and Prime rib. Souvlaki with happy hour deal, you get soup/salad, main, beverage and dessert!! Meat was so soft, and everything was perfect.

We had a rather serendipitous evening at Spiro’s last night! The food was top quality, and we were celebrating my birthday, which is really today, as well as my nephew becoming a daddy yesterday morning! Our waitress, Ashley, was amazing, and accommodated us with perfect timing between entrée and appetizer for a speakerphone call from my nephew. She was privy to all the details of my great niece’s birth, and since we were the last ones there, she packed us up with a baklava and ice cream to go, plus leftovers.

We have not been to Spiro’s for quite some time, but used to frequent it. The idea came to us at the last moment, and we were the last reservation. It was perfect, and quite memorable!

Let me start with WOW! I mean WOW! I'm Greek, born into the restaurant business in Detroit. My family is still in several restaurants. I've been to 100s of Greek places throughout the USA and some in other places in the world (including Greece) So I get here and the place is hopping, which you know what that means. I get seated and wait 20 minutes and no waiter....hmmm. I tell the hostess and next thing I know is the GM AND OWNER are all over me, give me a free drink and serve me by themselves. Exactly what you're supposed to do when you kind of screw up. Let's go to the food:
Bread - wow, the best I've had in forever. Pure Greek style and right outta the oven
Saganaki - 10+, I've never had better. Check out the pics, it's like a cake of Kaserri!
Avegolemno - not too much lemon!! Thank you
Greek salad - creamy dressing, which I'm not a fan of, but surprisingly good
Horiatiki - because the Greek salad was small I ordered it over this. But I then told them to make a small Horiatiki. They did, OMG, perfection
Triple platter - moussaka, dolmades and pastitio.what can I say? A home run for all three! It was steaming hot, an underrated important thing. Unique and awesome flavors and even the vegetables were great with a "Greek" flavor.
Baklava - I heard it's great and got it togo. I'll have it in the hotel
So bottom line, and I'm not Kidding, the best Greek restaurant I've been to in the USA ( I've been to at least 100).
Go there if you are in St. Louis!!!!

Spiros never disappoints! Same as its been for decades now. Service and food were great!

Came to Spiro's for a refreshing taste on my birthday, and Spiro's did not disappoint! First of all, every good restaurant has great bread and butter - this one's definitely fell under that category.

Our Hot platter appetizer came with a quick flame showing before it was served. The food itself tasted great! We particularly liked the shrimp and the saganaki, although the spanakopita was a bit exotic for our taste (still worth the experience!)

We each got something different, whether it be lamb, beef, or seafood. However, all of them were packed with protein, vegetables, and rice/potatoes. They all had a fantastically unique flavor! Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan of my lamb shank - it was a tad too salty and heavy, but the vegetables helped balance it out. The food also came in huge proportions. I'm sure my lamb shank could fill two moderately-hungry people.

Great place to come for either the experience or a special occasion!

We were visiting and took my grandmother here. My husband’s family takes their lamb VERY seriously and he was over the moon about the lamb options. What a delicious place. We enjoyed the feta and olives as an appetizer! Staff was great. Food was amazing. We will be back!

This place is fantastic. My first time and I’m so glad I was treated to lunch here. Chicken gyro, Greek fries, Greek salad, dolmades, bread & butter-all delicious. Nice atmosphere and even better service. All staff was so friendly and welcoming! Look forward to returning.

First, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get Saturday night reservation for 5 people. We wanted to try our neighbor restaurant for few months now. When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready due to previous party still enjoying their meal, but we were quickly accommodated.
Food was delicious and service provided by CeCe - outstanding. Autumn Old Fashioned is must try. Greek style shrimp for seafood lovers and chicken kebab for meat lovers - highly recommended.
Definitely coming back at the earlier time, to also try their desert menus.

Absolutely wonderful evening and experience. Beautiful, rustic atmosphere. Clean. Cassandra our server was out of this world amazing. So friendly and attentive. She made us feel really special and almost as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. We weren't though as it was a packed house on a Friday evening. Highly recommend reservations. Food was amazing!! My wife enjoyed the beef kabobs. I enjoyed the pikalia and my favorite was the dolamades(grape leaf wrapped seasoned ground beef with a flavorful sauce, just delightful. Of course we had to top it off with a piece of baklava. A most wonderful experience!! Would highly recommend when looking to enjoy Greek/Mediteranian food!!!

What an incredible experience. I've grown up around Greek food my whole life, and Spiro's is honestly THE best I've ever had. Every step of our lunch experience, from the service to the food, was amazing. We got the hummus starter, I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the chicken wrap. Excellent.
