Coronet Seafood Restaurant

When I want seafood, this is my number 1 choice. Food favorably seasoned, portions are plenty, and service is timely and friendly. I drove 52 minutes to get here on this day bypassing Mayflower, Captins Tom and Seafood Shack because I wanted to eat a good meal. And oh man the hush puppies!!!!! Plus if you pay in cash you get 4%off your total price. I ate my food before I could take pictures cause when that plate hits the table, it's Pavlov Law up in there lol

I like fried food, but this was a bit much. Seemed as though everything had a double coating, and the oil came out in every chew. It tasted good, but I am fairly certain that all that oil gave me an upset stomach. Nice restaurant, but maybe just not for me. It is a popular place as it was packed.

Every time my family goes to Coroner's we get the same great experience. Great waitresses, great food, and great prices for the times. We love going there.

More food than you pay for!
Always a pleasant visit. The Owner is constantly checking on folks and welcomes many at the door when he can.
Wait Staff is top notch. Can't beat the food. An abundance of delicious for a fair price. Fast delivery of fresh Hot food. I love coming here. I have treated my employees at times near the holidays here and plan to do so again and again.
The only thing that I wish so much... Is that they would be open for Lunch.
I imagine there is a Gentleman's agreement with The Mayflower Seafood Restaurant down the street and I respect that, but this is truly the superior of the two and I love Mayflower. Especially the Clam Strips...OMG

My first time here. I had the whitefish, slaw, and fries. The food came out very quickly. It was all delicious. Our server was wonderful and personable.
I know I want to go back. Looking forward to returning.

Best place to eat seafood. Love the crab cakes! They are the best I have ever had. They are always busy, so go early, and if you find something isn't quite right, let them know, and they will make it right!

I have lived and traveled many places, eaten a lot of seafood, but Coronets is the best seafood I have ever eaten. It always tastes so fresh, the variety is phenomenal. I come home (Mt.Airy) to visit family and I never miss the opportunity to eat here. It’s a must!

Food was delicious.....They give you more than enough. Didn't have to wait too long for food. Waitress was very nice and courteous. You can tell how crowded and busy they were that people enjoy coming there. Atmosphere was great.

It was my first time eating here. I was here with my church members. Everything about the restaurant is excellent. It's not too far from another well-known seafood restaurant. The food is delicious. I had flounder, scallops, clam strips, and baked potatoes. And the lemonade taste like lemonade. When you're seated, they serve you hushpuppies with butter. There is no need for an appetizer. The servers are friendly and attentive. My only regret is that they're not here in Winston-Salem.

Love this place , it's been around since I can remember. Service is always great, and the food is always amazing.

The food and ALL the staff are great very friendly 😃 your drink stays full and the food is full of flavor, not greasy and the chicken fingers taste like chicken not fish! The price for the amount of food you get 😁 can't beat it anywhere! The management goes around and greats everyone with a smile and even gives a refill if seen it's needed without being asked to. These people are on point here and they keep the restaurant nice and clean inside and out. I'd give more stars if I could.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owner is by far the friendliest person I've seen lately. He goes to each table and talks to the guest and ensures that the food is to their liking and ask how they are.

I don’t give a straight 5 star review very often, but this place checked all the boxes perfectly.
I have driven by this place many times and just blown it off as an overpriced Long John Silver’s knockoff, boy was I wrong!!!
The food was great, done, but not over cooked.

This has been my all time favorite seafood restaurant since I was old enough to remember even eating seafood. It doesnt have that fresh taste like close to the coastal regions, so my opinion is it is better flavor at Coronet. The staff is friendly and the place is clean as it has always been! 5 star for seafood give it a try you wont be disappointed

Very friendly staff. There was a guy I think he may have been the manager, he came around and asked everyone in our party how things were. The food was good and hot, our waitresses were awesome.

The service was great, the waitress was always asking if we needed anything. The food was fantastic, you get your money's worth. Large plates of food. I couldn't finish my plate, there was so much food.

Great food and service. Super clean. Enormous plates of food. Huge salads. You'll be full. 😋

Highly recommend this restaurant. Waitress very friendly, kind and knowledgeable of the food items. Will definitely return. Worth the drive from Kernersville. Priced reasonable.

George,Gus, Larry and Nick gave me my first job opportunity at there location on Peter's Creek Pkwy in Winston Salem back in the 80's. I even purchased my first car from Nick who sold it to for $500 bucks. The food was excellent and the quality of service was exceptional even back then. I am not surprised that the same quality continues today. I will visit you again my friend next time I am back home in W/S.
