Elk Creek Rentals

This home was beautiful! Great location up the mountain but close to everything. The home felt so cozy and clean. The layout was perfect for our family. Our kids (6&8) loved the rooms upstairs that allowed them to play and be loud away from the parents and grandparents! We enjoyed coffee by the fire pit on the porch each morning and enjoyed our evenings by the wood fire pit in the backyard.

This is a lovely home that has everything anyone would need while enjoying the beautiful area of Banner Elk! This is my second time staying here and it is as exceptional as the first time several years ago. Do you and your family a favor and stay here on your next NC mountain getaway!! The back porch with the fire pit is great for unplugging and having a fireside chat with the wonderful view of Beech Mountain(pictured).

Very special holiday stay. The home is spotless (and decorated very nicely for Christmas), and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, views of the mountains are spectacular. We enjoyed cooking smores over the outside fire pit, grilling burgers on the deck with a beautiful view, watching movies together in the spacious livingroom on the large TV, and having a convenient home base to nearby skiing/snowboarding/alpine coaster/snow tubing. Stayed with my 13 and 16 year old. We all loved it. Sandy (property manager) was very responsive to all questions, and gave great information about local activities and amenitiies. Would recommend 100%.

This property was perfect for a mountain getaway for a girl's weekend! It has ample space, a gorgeous kitchen, luxury finishes and spectacular mountain views. The back deck with gas fire pit was our favorite amenity. It is centrally located and just a few minutes drive from downtown Banner Elk, Grandfather Winery and many other area attractions. Property manager Sandy was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic get a way in Banner Elk. Close to lots of activities. The house is meticulously clean and well stocked. Went for a weekend with high school friends and we all loved it. Sandy, the host is great with communication. Highly recommend!

Great home! Perfect location for a getaway. This house has everything you could ever need or want! So cozy and comfortable, fire pit on the deck was wonderful. The host has thought of everything! I was so impressed with all of the details and extras. I feel so relaxed after the weekend, can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I had the joy of staying in this beautiful oasis! It was the perfect gateway that we needed! Just close enough to town to get what we needed, but far enough on the outskirts to have our own little slice of heaven! We will definitely be back!😊

Wow! This mountain rental is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice! It is very clean, spacious, and very well supplied to meet all your needs. We even got a visit from a few deer one morning and a bear one evening. It was the perfect weekend spent with our friends! We will definitely be back!!

The owner is excellent; she responds promptly and genuinely wishes for her guests to enjoy every moment of their fabulous stay. You will LOVE this home and your entire experience!

My family and I stayed here for 7 nights at the end of December/beginning of January. The house was perfect for us. We have kids and they loved the upstairs loft area where they slept and played. The kitchen was big and spacious and had everything we needed. We made many meals and enjoyed having our coffee on the back porch with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and plenty of linens, pillows and towels were provided. There’s not one thing I would change about our stay. Sandy was very helpful and always responded to any questions I had. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Not a detail was missed - well stocked, perfect layout, super cozy, & sparkling clean. 😁 It provided the rest & relaxation our family was coming for. Not to mention, it’s close to the most magical hikes & outdoor adventures. We loved Linville Falls & Grandfathers Mountain. We can’t wait to come back! ❤

We stayed at Sandy's home and it was sooo lovely. The home is convenient to both ski slopes and PLENTY of little towns and places to visit. We toured the Blue Ridge Pkwy, hiked a little (we are not pro hikers but there are short trails in abundance), shopped along some Main Streets, enjoyed an outdoor fire in the fire pit, and ski-ed at both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain. We also went tubing at Hawks Nest.

This home is VERY WELL STOCKED and there was some food in the pantry when we arrived, from previous guests, which was so helpful for us to fill in our meals. The home was very spacious and served us perfectly. There were games to play...and a nice setup of Checkers, which my kids played the whole vacation. The view was tremendous and this was the perfect mountain vacation. Oh, and I almost forgot, Sandy was always a text away and answered our touristy questions quickly. I would high recommend this home.

Our family absolutely loved staying in this beautiful mountain home! It was a perfect place for our family of five to spend quality time together and felt like “home away from home.” The home is stocked with all the essentials and is very convenient to multiple attractions and nearby cities to visit for a day trip. We can’t wait to come back and make more wonderful memories!

Our family took a trip to Banner Elk for my daughter's 5th birthday and we had the most wonderful stay. We felt right at home and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend for your home away from home with efficient access to the most wonderful host!

Top notch rental. We have visited the Banner Elk/Beech Mtn area for years and this is by far our favorite rental. The house is 5 min from downtown Banner Elk and conveniently a 1 min drive off the main road. It offers fantastic views of Beech and mountainous terrain while not having to drive up long windy/steep roads (one uphill paved climb that isn’t an issue with AWD if the roads are covered but they are usually scraped). The house was incredibly clean and spacious. Well stocked with towels, toilet paper, kitchen items/etc. The owner checked in after we booked and told us to feel free to contact her if we had any questions or concerns. My son left a stuffed animal that we purchased while snow tubing at Hawksnest. We weren’t able to find it when we came home which caused a meltdown. The cleaning crew found it and the owner reached out to see if it was ours and mailed it back to us! We have already booked a stay for this summer and cannot wait to come again!

Elk Creek was absolutely fantastic. Two families with five children across us fit MORE than comfortably and we even had an extra bedroom! So well appointed with all amenities great views and two fireplaces! Owner was easy and fantastic communicator. The place was very centrally located and we spent time at Grandather mountain, downtown Banner Elk, the alpine roller coaster, gem mining, and took the ski lift at Beech Mountain. Not more than 10-15 from anything! Thanks Sandy and Elk Creek and we will be back!

Just Enjoyed the best Mother’s Day weekend getaway in Banner Elk! The weather was perfect and the NC mountains were beautiful!
If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend a stay at Elk Creek. This spacious home is absolutely gorgeous and has all the amenities. The owner, Sandy Davis is so easy to work with...booking was so simple and seamless. Elk Creek was spotlessly clean and so welcoming from the first time we walked in the door. It’s minutes away from some of the best restaurants in downtown Banner Elk. Two of our favorites were Sorrentos and Banner Elk Cafe and Lodge Espresso Bar and Eatery. The short drive to Banner Elk Winery and Villa was definitely a highlight of the weekend for us with live music, beautiful scenery and a glass of wine. Finished up the evening on the back deck of Elk Creek with Mountain View’s and a fire...perfection!

My family, friends and I just spent a wonderful 5 days at Elk Creek. This home is so perfect. It is situated in a beautiful location in Banner Elk with the most relaxing views and wonderful amenities. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. Many great attractions were close by, like the alpine coaster, Beech mountain and Downtown Boone. We can’t wait to return to our new favorite vacation spot in Banner Elk, this home is the perfect vacation rental!
