Platte City Service Center

These guys were amazing- especially Manager Ken. We were traveling from Colorado to Arkansas for Christmas, and the mechanic who worked on my car previously didn’t tighten the lug nuts enough and the front tire came flying off on the highway!!! We waited until the shop opened at 8am and manager Ken took care of us immediately and was able to squeeze us in on their last day open before Christmas. He even brought us snacks while we were waiting and everyone was super kind to our dog that we brought along. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them!! They are phenomenal people.

I needed to take my car into the shop and get an oil change and have them check it out because it was making a funny sound. I spoke with Ken and he asked me to describe what sound I was hearing I tried to tell him and he mentioned a few sounds an old car could make. Neither one of use could pint point the exact sound and he said he would have the guys check it out. It was in the shop for an hour and they told me the sound I was hearing was because one of my pipes was rusty and they suggested a shop to take it to they couldn't fix it in house. They have always been polite and nice and the price has been very good.

5star from the beginning to end! Polite, friendly and honest. My service included an oil change, tire rotation and an inspection. They checked and adjusted my tire pressure, which was over the recommended weight, the technician took the time to show me the location in the door to locate the pounds per tire, and the only other thing I needed was a tail light lightbulb. Great customer service!

They found some parts that we needed urgently. and the lovely lady working there kept following up with me to make sure we got what we needed. They both gave us excellent customer service and we will definitely be back!

Great service and honest team. They replaced my breaks/rotors, replaced an emergency break cable, trailer hitch sensor and even found an issue with my breaks that I was hearing but didn't know quite sure what it was. Thank you all so much for your help. Having someone you can trust with your rig means the world to us. This vehicle take my family everywhere so making sure it is safe is my top priority. Thanks Again for taking good care of my girl!!

The service was great. They took my car in and checked tires right away. I did not have to wait. Gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful. I will go back to them in the future! Thank you!

My Ram had an exhaust leak. The Dodge dealer couldn't see me until a week later. I stopped by Goodyear, and they took care of me right away. They even gave me a ride home and picked me up an hour later when the job was done.

Ken and Tim are very nice and professional. My husband and I have been taking our cars to Platte City service center for 7 years now. We trust them and know that they will do what's right for us.

What a great feeling it is to have an automotive service center that you can trust. They are not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. But what I have found them to be is reasonable, straightforward, and professional.

Excellent service in a pinch. Blew a trailer tire on the interstate and limped into this place after searching Google for a tire shop. They didn't have a new trailer tire in stock to match what I had, but after making some adjustments they fixed the situation and got a tire back on the trailer and got me back on the road at a very fair price. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The counter guy was awesome, in fact he was in the parking lot looking for a way to help me before I even got out of my truck. (I originally thought he was just a customer looking at my bad fortune.) He helped sort out my options, gave me the price it would cost (which was the price they charged! Not always the case, when at tire shops), helped throughout the process, was knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome employee! The service technician that swapped out my tire was also friendly, and worked incredibly efficiently to get me back on the road. I'm very impressed with this service center. The counter guy even did a follow up call the next morning to make sure I had made it to my destination, and to thank me for choosing their shop. Great work guys!

These guys do EXCELLENT work. Never over sell or over charge. They are very friendly and remember you. I recommend them to any and everyone. My family only gets our car service and work done here. Ask for Ken or Brad, great guys!

I have gone here for the past 4 years and have always received great service. They are very trustworthy, honest and hardworking people. Even when they are busy, they make time in their day to get me in. I highly recommend them if you have any questions, or need work done on your car.

I work at another shop in Overland Park and one of my customers called me with concerns about their vehicle making a noise and was not far from this service center. I called to the shop to see if there was any way my customer could come in last minute to make sure her vehicle was safe to drive. Brad answered and was very professional about the matter. Brad and his crew identified the noise and realized the part wasn’t going to be delivered until later on/next day. So they kindly went out of their way to go get the part for my customer so she could get home safely that night. Talk about top notch service!!

Ken is professional and courteous! I've been taking my 1998 Toyota Camry here for 10 years. It has 289,000 miles and keeps going because their service is great.

Im new in town and am making these guys my new mechanics! They always charge me less than the estimate the work will cost. And they are very communicative, and kindly explain my options, and patiently answer my questions. They seem very knowledgeable and eager to please me. I feel like i can trust Platte City Service Center to take great care of my car.

Brought my car in with a small metal piece stuck in the wheel on a Saturday morning. They got my car in in about 10-15 mins. They kept me up to date on how things were going. After finishing up it only cost between $20 -30 to have a small patch job done. I was out on about an hour. Thank you, its been a couple of weeks and no leak.

My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Platte City Service Center for the last 11 years. They have become our go-to place for tires, preventive maintenance, and repair services. The staff is always extremely helpful and professional and we trust their recommendations and their work.

A friend and I were having a girls day out in Weston, MO. I am from St. Louis. My car started acting up and was flashing the emergency check engine light. When I called Platte City Service Center at 3:30 on a Saturday and explained my situation, they were very understanding and accommodating. I brought it in, it was fixed before 5:00 and for a very reasonable price. These people could have price gauged me or completely turned me away, but were so helpful and kind. They are very much appreciated in my book!!
