Holiday Inn Kansas City Airport, an IHG Hotel

Five stars across the board! Starting with the wonderful staff members in all areas, the facility was simply outstanding, particularly the special event and food service coordinators. The property is nearly new and well maintained. It is convenient to the airport and nearby downtown destinations. Members of our large group utilized all aspects of the property including banquet facilities, the onsite restaurant and lounge, the business center, the hospitality suite, about 30 rooms and even the pool. EVERYONE was blown away happy happy happy with the experience!

We stayed here the day after our wedding so we could catch a flight from MCI for our honeymoon. The hotel was really nice, clean and great breakfast the next morning (added cost). Shuttle was handy to and from the airport. We chose this hotel originally because of the reviews and we could keep our car there during the week of our honeymoon for a decent price. On two different occasions they confirmed there was covered parking. There was no covered. Not a big deal but kind of surprised by it since they confirmed twice that there was. Just something to know if you want to park there. We will definitely be back! Very impressed with the quality and cleanliness.

I loved that there are electrical outlets everywhere in the room. That is so helpful. Staff was friendly and offered me every assistance possible. Thank you for a lovely stay.

After all it was a great experience!!! Breakfast really did feel like we were at a five star brunch place. If you could add a mimosa it would have been a five-star brunch destination.

Overall awesome....except for the night manager...I got to the hotel around 9:30pm Sunday night after landing in Kansas city Airport...I had specifically asked for a wake up call @ 6am the following morning and didn't receive one

The hotel was extremely clean from the time you walked in to the rooms. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. They have a burger restaurant in the hotel, also. It was a good place for a burger and onion rings. The restaurant was on the expensive side. A regular cheese burger was 13.00 with onion rings and 12.00 with fries. The rooms were very nice. They had little refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, a desk area and a chair with ottoman and of course a very comfortable king size bed. If you don't mind spending 150.00 a night this is a great place near the airport. They have a shuttle that runs every half hour to take you to the airport. You can also leave your car parked at the hotel while you travel for 8.00 a day. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a step above a normal Holiday Inn! On a recent trip that required a flight out of MCI Airport the next day, we decided to book a room at this hotel the day before to get a good nights rest and we were VERY PLEASED with our stay! The hotel room we were provided was an upgraded 2 room suite, which was beyond our expectations. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel grounds and lobby was clean and modern as well. The only issue we had was that because of staffing, the restaurant was not open at their publicized time of 6 am and when we left the hotel at 6:30 am, it still wasn't. No biggie, we just grabbed breakfast at the new and improved airport that had options. Thanks again for a great stay : )

Front desk staff, bar staff and housekeeping were all wonderful. This is an extremely nice hotel and the room & bed were top notch!!

Great location by the airport!
When flying out early, we always stay here the night before so we don't have that early early rushed drive to the airport...
plus they they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport if you're a guest,
AND you can pay a daily fee and leave your car in their parking lot while gone!!

The only reason this review doesn't get 5 stars for the room is based on the bathroom lock not working. In spite of, this hotel was amazing.
I had a one night stay and the people at the front desk, BOTH shuttle drivers, and the room service people were amazing. The women who I shall not name but starts with Arli...... helped me out a lot. I had never been to the city and she gave me great advice and the shuttle drivers really looked out for me. It was a long trip and a lot of mishaps, but this hotel wasn't one of them. A bit pricy, but I am glad I chose this hotel.

As usual, when we fly out of MCI, we stay here. It's always a great experience. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient, and leaving our car is cheaper than the airports economy parking!

Excellent in all areas, with a very friendly staff, both at check in and check out. Shuttle service was right on time to catch my flight. Keep up the great effort.

Clean and quiet room. Lobby was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our flight was delayed out of Kansas City So we had to stay overnight. We booked a room with this Holiday Inn. We called and asked for a shuttle and not only were they quick he even picked us up from the car rental terminal. :) Quentin at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating allowing us to check in early so we didn't have to wait. The hotel is clean and really nice. Had a relaxing swim and a nice dinner at burger theory, the hotel restaurant. The lobby has snacks and even microwavable food in case you need something quick. One of the best hotel experiences I've had and a welcome rest during a particularly stressful time. Thanks so much for everything:)

I was really skeptical of leaving my car in the parking lot of the hotel for a week while on vacation but it was really safe and felt secure. Clean rooms and good parking/shuttle!

Rooms wonder comfty ! I don’t care for burgers but the steak I ordered was well

I haven't even completed my stay. But I can tell you I had the most polite check-in experience I have had at a hotel in a long time. The young lady was just so nice and I am so appreciative of that. The bed is also super comfy!

We had an early flight out of MCI and were able to park our car in the hotel parking lot for less than the airport parking. The shuttle took us right to the gate and picked us up in a timely manner when we returned (Matt was awesome!)

This is a great hotel to stay in. The employees are very helpful when you need assistance. I dropped my phone in the parking lot and when someone turned it in the phone was returned to me right away. I also dropped my credit card in a tight space and another employee helped me retrieve it. The room was comfortable and quiet as well. I usually don't need help but certainly did at this visit and the employees were great. Thanks again
