Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Airport

I'm only giving y'all five stars based on service. I could've easily missed my flight this morning at 5:30am but thankfully the receptionist woke me up.

Hotel building in good bones and nicely kept and so are the rooms.

Bathroom though needs serious plumbing fix. The toilet was shaking badly along with the shower spout and shower head.

My LA to KC flight was delayed so I let Krishna at this hidden gem of a hotel know, and he kindly said, "no problem sir, I'll come when you arrive" I arrived at 2:40am, called the hotel, I was picked up and brought to a room in a hotel that is obviously being returned to it's former, utilitarian glory.
My room was small, but super clean, quiet, and functional. It was exactly what I needed and an incredible value.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It is what it is. Safe clean place to sleep. We checked in early without any problems. Good A/C, quiet, safe, and comfortable bed. Great value for the price.

I loved staying at Microtel.

Lots of Pros - Close to airport (6 mins), free shuttle to drop off at airport (driver even help lift my two 50 pound heavy bags and drop them off van at airport), comfortable bed, clean tidy room, towels and bathroom and very reasonable rate.

I couldn’t ask for more and will visit again in future. Thank you staff and team for going above and beyond.

Tori Hampton and Makaylee Jade are absolute All-Stars at this hotel, they will make you feel welcome and blessed to be in this great hotel. Dennis, the manager is exceptional. Can't thank these awesome individuals enough for doing all they do and for the best customer service and excellence every sngle day. I highly recommend this hotel because of these Amazing People :-) Thank you!

Check in with quick. Price was affordable for two adults. Check out times for made clear room was amazing beds were soft. TV selection was subpar. Continental breakfast was amazing had waffles juice cereal muffins. Would definitely return.

The overall time spent there was a nice one. They were all really nice and very helpful. The breakfast was not very good but it did fill you up. Otherwise everything else was good.

I arrived at Kansas airport after midnight. I walked outside the airport and It was a cold, snowy night and the clouds seems right above my head. I called the hotel for the shuttle and the shuttle showed up on time within 10 mins. I was the only passenger. The driver was very nice and kind. The shuttle was nice and warm. After a few mins I got off at the hotel lobby. The night manager at the desk was well traveled and understood I was tired so he got me my suite right away. The room was at the perfect temperature and ready for the guest that will be staying for 6 night and 7 days. They had breakfast in the mornings and wifi. I had the best experience at the Microtel. Thank you for the great service!

Checking in wasnt too bad. Quick and easy. The lady was nice. although they could fix up the letters that are falling off the wall. it looked very tacky. The room was nice and clean looked modern enough. The bed was the most comfortable one ive slept in ever! Wish i could have taken it with me home haha. Will definitely be back soon!

Good place to stay for one night. Walls are thin and only carbs offered for breakfast but other than that, room was clean and put together and the hotel staff was accommodating.

Very clean and quiet place to kick back and relax for a night. After all of the stress and drama in life was exactly what the wife and I needed before this upcoming 1200 mile trip to Phoenix Az next week. And for just over $50 for the night was well worth it. Thanks Microtel. Even my wife's service dog DOOZER enjoyed the experience!!!!!

Very clean rooms! Love the windowsill seating, and the modern LCD TVs. Everyone here has been friendly and accommodating! I visit KC fairly frequently, and have always been impressed with this hotel, and won't stay anywhere else unless they are full. The prices are usually very reasonable, and it is very close to Zona Rosa, KCI airport, and the KCI Expo Center.

Our flights were forcibly changed due to a hurricane so we needed to reschedule our hotel at the last minute. The staff was very friendly and incredibly willing to work with us to make this happen and make sure we didn't have to pay for nights when we weren't there.

I had a great experience, nice, clean, cute. Any other reviews are probably wrote by people who are high maitnance. The breakfast was good, staff were helpful, and our room was much better than expectef

Perfect. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Very cheap long term parking at the hotel. We plan on staying here every time we fly out of MCI and need to stay overnight. Other hotels will play games with the I parking rates, microtel parking pricing was straightforward.

The negative reviews I see here don't make sense - it is a small room because it is a MICROTEL. My wife and I had more than enough room. The microtel helped get our trip off to a good start.

For the price, it is as good as it gets. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you're looking to bring you pretty though, they do add on $25 a night.

Affordable, clean, and comfortable. The staff has been super nice. Close to the airport, but not noisy. Easy access to interstate. SUPER close to Kansas.

Clean rooms comfy bed and friendly staff and the price was great! Better then the last 5 hotels I've stayed at and alot cheaper! Very satisfied would defienty recommend.

Friendly staff and well lit so it is safe. A bargain compared to other hotels in the area. You can park and fly from here for a nominal fee that is less than the commercial parking lots as well.
