E J's Restaurant

EJ's is a small restaurant with 8 tables, but don't let the size of the restaurant sway your decision to eat here. We had breakfast but will go back for dinner. The restaurant is very clean and decorated very nicely. The door has a swing out door so it might be hard for someone with a wheelchair to open, but the door is even with the parking lot. They even make family portions you can buy and take home.

What an experience! Let me just start by saying that I love a great mom and pop restaurant! This little place offers so much in terms food, service, and price that its hard to imagine how we as consumers ever settle for less.
First, lets talk food. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options I wish I could have tried everything! The menu has many things to choose from (the onion rings are phenomenal) as well as burgers, chicken, and the special of the day happened to be pot roast, so lets say variety is abundant. Now, judging by the quality of the double bacon cheeseburger on Texas toast that I ordered Id say you're safe ordering anything on the menu and being completely satisfied with quality and portion size.
The next thing that caught my attention (it always does) is the cleanliness and service of the establishment. This place is very clean the floors are spotless, tables and chairs are in great shape, walls nicely painted, and the bathroom was clean and well kept. The service was spot on and prompt (we had 9 of traveling together) and Im positive we didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for the first plate to come out. Friendliest people and very professional.
Now lets talk price. In todays day and age most could expect that to feed (9) people you can expect to pay out the nose, but here their prices are very affordable. With a generous tip we were out the door for less than $100 for 9 adults all eating meals and (2) appetizers!
In closing, we would have never expected to find this gem where we did Pinnacle NC
just off I 74 with views of Pilot Mountain. If youre ever in that area plan on grabbing a solid meal and a smile.

If you're looking for a clean family restaurant with fair prices great food great service just 21 miles north of Winston-Salem North Carolina is Pinnacle North Carolina and EJ's restaurant. Delicious homemade food served with a smile and very well priced great experience for the owners operators the server and the customers that were there I will definitely be going back to this breakfast lunch and dinner restaurant

The food is fabulous. Onion rings are to die for . Banana pudding is wow . It's just simply all good . You want go wrong

Stopped in after staying at hanging rock state park. Fluffiest pancake I've ever had in my life. Great prices, good portion sizes and atmosphere. Will definitely go again for breakfast or lunch next time I'm in the area.

It's one of "those" places. You know, those places that are nice and quite. That still take the time to make their food. Those places where you feel like you get more then you pay for. Where the staff is great and friendly. A place where you feel like you are in on a super secret find. That is untill the place fills up with the locals. Simple food done simply great. You can also buy dishes to take and cook. Well worth the stop so you can eat at one of "those" places.

Love this place. Wonderful friendly staff. Good food. Fair price. Have to try the desserts!!! A must to order cakes and pies in advance for holidays and anytime!!!!!

Great breakfast or lunch spot. I was pleasantly surprised. They have homemade frozen meals as well. Service was excellent, the food was good and the prices were reasonable.

1st time customer. Great quality home cooked food. Amazing biscuits. Best I ever had at a restaurant. Nice staff. I need to try the weekly special Spaghetti when in the area again. My mother was impressed.

Pinnacle is a tiny town, and it’s nice that there’s a good place to eat like EJ’s. I just wish they were open pass 2pm, for dinner. Otherwise I enjoy their food. Had a BLT, fries, and salad today... all of it was excellent and a fair price. We will be back!

Great hometown restaurant, portion sizes are excellent, never able to finish. The staff is very friendly. They now have frozen entrees to go. Which makes dinner easier on certain days

Trenia was our server she was super friendly and attentive to our needs. She made our dining experience wonderful. The food was great but it's the service that will bring us back.
