A Home Away from Home - Perfect for College Move-In!
We recently stayed at The Proximity Hotel for three nights while helping our kids move into their college dorms. It was the perfect location, centrally located between both of their campuses, making the move-in process so much easier.

The staff was incredible! Every single interaction was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-appointed. We loved the proximity to great restaurants (both at The Proximity and its sister hotel, The O’Henry) and the convenience of a fitness center. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby shops.

The Proximity exceeded all expectations and made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. We can't wait to return for another visit!

This hotel was lovely. The rooms are beautiful, with so much natural light. I loved the bathrobes in the room, and they have a filtered water dispenser and carafe available for drinking water in the rooms. The bed was very comfortable, hotel was quiet, and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

My stay here was a 10 out 10! The hotel, service, room and every staff member I had an encounter with was helpful, pleasant and delightful. The hotel ambiance was inviting and warm. This is my hotel stay when I’m in North Carolina! The Bistro Restaurant was also on point. The grits was the only thing that I didn’t care for. 😩 The blue crab omelette was on point. You can taste and see the crab meat. 😋

This hotel surpassed all my expectations and stands out as one of the finest I've experienced. Every member of the staff we encountered exuded warmth and hospitality, greeting each guest with genuine smiles in the lobby. What truly impressed me was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel. As someone who is particularly conscious of germs, I often find myself hesitant in hotel stays due to the need for extensive cleaning. However, this was not the case here. My room was meticulously cleaned, even in often overlooked areas like the faucet spigot. From the spacious rooms to the attentive staff and the delightful bistro, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had. This hotel is definitely worth it for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

After living in Greensboro for numerous years, I always said if I came back to visit that I wanted to stay at the Proximity.

From check in to check out, our stay was nothing short of amazing. The staff was always very friendly and courteous, our room was wonderful and in general, the hotel, very quiet.

We ordered Room service from Printworks bistro numerous times and the food was always delicious and very large portions.

If I come back to Greensboro again, I will definitely make sure to book my reservations at the proximity.

Very lovely hotel. My wife and I stayed in the City Suite, and it was so posh and luxurious. We did have a minor complaint during our stay. However, the General Manager reached out to us via email and addressed our issues and offered us a generous solution. He seemed genuinely concerned that we had a complaint, and didn't just blow it off. This was very professional and I can't thank him enough for reaching out to us. This type of customer service is exactly what every business needs to model. Honestly, the customer service is one of the most impressive parts about Proximity Hotel (outside of the beautiful hotel, obviously). We will be staying here again early next year and look forward to our stay again, as well as future stays!

The Proximity Hotel was the best hotel experience I ever had.

The facility was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect.

This hotel also is one of the greenest hotels in the country. They grow most of their food and try to be as sustainable as possible.

I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone coming through Greensboro!!

This was our first stay with the Proximity Hotel and it was very good. We did their 3 wish package and enjoyed it. The bistro and hotel atmosphere (French themed) was great, the food was wonderful, the room was super nice, and the bathroom Shower and bath was greatly enjoyed. We plan to do future stays with them.

Stayed here over a weekend for concerts due to close “proximity” of the Coliseum. The rooms were very modern and clean. The restaurants they have as part of this hotel and O’Henry were also very nice. Great overall stay.

This was truly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. They have thought of every little detail for the rooms. Really does feel like a home away from home. I booked a weekend at the Proximity Hotel to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. It exceeded my exceptions. Their restaurant "Print Works Bistro" was fabulous. We ate there for breakfast and dinner. Joyce was amazing as well! We will most definitely be back.

The leadership team of the company I work for met at Proximity in one of the hospitality suites. The quality of service was outstanding. We have a small team and they set up the room to serve us well, taking care to arrange the table, the whiteboard we requested, and setting the TV screen up with visibility to the table for our presentation. All of the food and beverage service was delivered right on time and was prepared by Printworks to the highest quality.

Excellent in every aspect! If you are looking for great meeting space with spacious, soothing overnight rooms and a dedicated team to help navigate your stay, the Proximity Hotel is your place to be! Professionalism at its finest!!

This was a beautiful hotel with the best service imaginable. The staff worked to accommodate all of our needs with a smile. We needed workspace late at night and they immediately made a conference room available.
The food in the Bistro was delicious enough that we came back to the hotel for lunch after checking out in the morning!

Love this place! I stay here regularly for work. The rooms are great, the service is great, the food is great, and they have a great band in the bar on Wednesdays. Will not stay anywhere else when I am in Greensboro.

Beautifully decorated with a little atrium inside.
Food and service were average.
No doggy bag home and no take-home items.
It's ok. It's quiet but nice and very clean.
