Wonderful experience. Great friendly and helpful staff.
Incredible self guided tour of the complete Tabasco production operation. One of my lifetime favorites and I got a detailed view of the whole process of how it's made. Very clean grounds and facilities. Great nater tour also. Great gift shop. We really enjoyed it. I recommend it for everyone.

This is such an interesting, important and fun piece of American history and truly unique in the present age. We loved the brief, self-guided tour and saw some truly fun exhibits in the museum. Not to mention all the cool stuff for sale in the gift shop with the iconic logo, of course.
The Jungle Gardens were extensive, spectacular and serene and with no rush to get around, just a beautiful, leisurely tour. Lots of photo ops or just sights to take in and marvel at in your own time.

This factory was great! There were numerous areas to view and the history of it was amazing! Even if you don’t like Tabasco, it is still a neat experience to see how they make it. (In the gift shop, the chili mix is so delicious! It was so good, I bought 2)

Great experience for Tabasco fans. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help.
Make sure you leave enough time to hit the gift shop (closes at 4pm) to load up on unique items and sauces.

Highly recommend stop if you are in Southern Louisiana/Lafayette area.

If you have time, also get the jungle gardens pass located at the facility. This is the "old" property and homestead of the McIlhenny's.

A little out of the way, but well worth it! Wish more businesses were run like this one. Great experience and the tour included access to the Jungle Gardens for some gator viewing and great scenery.

We totally enjoyed our tour of the factory and the jungle Gardens. We had no idea of the rich history and success of the family owned business. The tour was very well done and visitor friendly. We loved it.

Really cool pit stop, you get to try all of their sauces and even Tabasco flavor ice cream. They have a pond with crocodiles and a big garden to explore after the self guided tour. Awesome staff, free parking, and a restaurant.

Agree with other reviews! This is an educational, fun, and spicy experience! We took the self-guided tour, which is well-done and worthwhile. The museum is full of history and little known facts about the McIlhenny family. The tour ends in the Country Store with a tasting.Tip: if the sauce is too hot, try a spoonful of honey. It stops the heat.
We even sampled ice cream made with Raspberry Chipotle Tabasco sauce. Surprisingly good! Afterward, we drove through the Jungle Gardens. Lots of wildlife and rookery with nesting Snowy Egrets. All in all a very enjoyable day.

Self guided tour through Tabasco. Highly recommend starting with lunch at the restaurant. We got the sampler, chili and trout special of the day. Every flavor Tabasco sauce is on each table. Try them all to know what you want to buy in store. Loved the bloody Mary bar

In 1986 I came here with my future and current wife for our first kiss. Well, that might not have been the plan but it did happen.

We only went through the gardens and were eaten by mosquitoes and that has not changed.

This time I took the wife and 8 others friends from Europe with me to the Factory tour and all the rest the location offers and it was a top stop!

If you know anything about Tabasco (like it is on restaurant tables across the world) then the Factory Tour is so worth the time. We came out of the tour and all said “we gotta try some Tabasco!”.

Over to the restaurant and most of us had the “Sampler” and tried all the various Tabascos on the table. We had such a good time. The shop was next and shirts, seasonings and more were bought.

Then the Garden tour and it is beautiful but it was a hot October day at 2pm and most animals were likely hiding away but they are wonderfully maintained.

This is a long haul from New Orleans (7 hours round trip) but we stayed the night before in Lafayette which made the trip so nice. The swamp tour on Lake Martin was full of animals and at least 50 gators as well.

I would tell anyone who has some interest in where this global hot sauce comes from and the remote existence it has today.

Think about it; every bottle of Tabasco, anywhere in the world, came from this location. just wow. 😯

Wonderful place to visit for all ages and interests. The factory was really cool to see, and the gift shop had free samples of everything. The raspberry icecream was delicious.

The Tabasco factory has stepped up its tour game! They have made “stops” that start next to the store, and let you experience going see things such as an example greenhouse where experimental peppers may be grown, where the mash is stirred with the vinegar, the old salt mine that used to be on the island, and much more. Plus, if you pay for this, you also get admission to Jungle Gardens. The store is the only place where you can buy the pepper mash proper as well!

I've been wanting to visit here for a while and it did not disappoint!! We really enjoyed learning about my favorite condiment and going to Jungle Gardens. We bought Tabasco souvenirs and ate at the restaurant which was good. Great day!

Visited the visitor’s center and store and spent lots of time on the jungle drive. Great history and fun products from the first two. Extremely friendly service everywhere (thanks especially to Donna, Melody, and Justin!). Loved the variation, tranquillity, and spirit of the jungle area. Thank you Edward Avery, called Ned.

This place was fun!! It was a sweltering day and could have melted us. The museum and factory tour were nice. The store had lots of Tabasco goodies. Then the drive on the grounds was lovely. Best thing was the Tabasco Ice Cream!!

I’m only posting a few photos because I don’t want to spoil too much. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was easy to schedule my tickets ahead of time online. I checked in and was able to go. Self guide tour is amazing! Along the way they provide all the info a normal tour guide gives. You just go your own speed.
