Always help me find items I'm looking for then give me helpful tips regarding application. Plus I got 5.00 off for my birthday.

I usually do not shop at this ACE Hardware, but today I was in the Olathe area and stopped in to see what they had. It was well worth the stop I found a beautiful large lighted wreath for $19.00. It was the last one on the shelf. The store is well lighted and the staff is friendly.

The manager at this store, Shannon, went above and beyond in helping me with a return. I had received an outdoor power tool as a gift and did not have a receipt. After using the trimmer once, I was hoping to return it for something different. It would have been very easy for him to tell me that I was out of luck without my receipt and with a tool that clearly showed signs of use. Instead, he accepted the return for store credit and allowed me to put it towards exactly what I needed. I wouldn't expect that kind of service at any other "big box" store. There are other stores nearby, but this Ace will ALWAYS be my choice because of the way they treat the customer. That's the only differentiator when you are shopping. It's up to customers to shop wisely. Do yourself a favor and bring your business here.

We enjoy the staff here. They are helpful and kind and give nice advice on how to do the job and what tools/materials you will need. You don't get that type of service at Lowe's. We really like the service here.

Great knife sharpening service. Get them sharpened at the desk in back where you can get keys made. I guess they have an automated machine up front, but I haven't tried it. The guy in back says the machine costs more. The guys if back have been doing a great job and it's only a few bucks.

I visited the store looking to purchase some odd sized screws. When I was unable to find what I was looking for, I received help from an employee. The gentleman went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for (I feel that I should mention that these screws were not available at Home Depot, despite their vast inventory). He had to look in several different places but was ultimately able to find exactly what I needed, including a single allen wrench (I thought I would have to buy a whole set but he helped me locate a single one, which was much appreciated).
Individual customer service is often hard to find at the big box stores, but at this store I felt like I received special attention. Considering that the price of my purchase was only a few dollars, I was especially pleased to receive such good service. Thank you!!!

I usually go here for supplies for small diy projects. They seem to have more than the big box stores which are geared for the contractor. Example: I needed a couple of feet electrical wiring and they offer it for sale by the foot here. I dont always want to buy a whole 100 foot roll that the contractor stores sell.

I was trying to find a certain item in this Ace Hardware in Olathe Kansas on Clairborne. Your team member Josh went above and beyond to help me find just the item I wanted. I really appreciate him taking the time to give me great customer service!

It's a smallish store but I think they have a little of everything. There is always someone helpful nearby. They have large carts to haul around your large purchases. Decent prices, close_up parking. Sign up for Ace Rewards!

5 seconds after I walked through the door, a young lady asked me if she could help me find something. I said, "I need a new carbon monoxide detector." She said, "aisle 14", without hesitation. Very nice and friendly crew over there.

Keith was a lot of fun to tonight. He helped me find the products I needed and we had a great conversation. It is always refreshing to work with an employee having fun at their job.

Mike S. is great! Mike spent 30 minutes trying to help me with a plumbing solution. My experience with this store is that most of their employees go out of their way to help. I live closer to another local hardware store on the West side, but they mainly refer me to specialty stores if my issues is on the difficult side. Not at this store. I gladly make the extra drive to come to this store.

They usually have what I need at a competitive price. I don't have to wander aimlessly, getting more and more frustrated, while trying to find my desired item. Why?? They actually have enough staff to help customers. Plus, the staff is willing to do so!

Good place for hardware needs and they always greet you at the door unless they are swamped which is not the case on all of my visits. I appreciate having someone either point me in the right direction or actually take to the isle and location of the product I am interested in buying. Nice crew of personnel.

Kind, knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions or help you find what your looking for. Nothing like the personal service they have always given me when I go in. Always leave with what I need and the knowledge needed to use it.

This post above was from a few months ago. Today April 25th 2020 they have NO impatiens so don't waste your time going they've told me last 3 days today today then Saturday morning for sure!! We'll not happening still saying today today today no longer saying this morning!! So frustrating and such a waste of time for people!!! Blows my mind!!!

Great! Small town hardware store environment with excellent staff always ready to help. But large enough that they most likely have anything you need & also a lot of other unconventional items as well!

This is my go to store when I can't find something at Home Depot. Especially when it comes to nuts, bolts, washer, etc.

Employees are always polite.....and very helpful.

Store had everything I came for in stock. I was greeted by friendly staff and staff also walked me to the item I could not find. They honored the sale price even though sale had expired. Very nice clean store.
