Theriot's Lunches & Catering

Stopped in with less than 30 minutes to close for lunch. Found a nice selection of meats and vegetables on the steam table. Picked the baked chicken plus greens, mixed vegetables, and rice dressing. They add dinner roll. Chicken fell off the bone tender, and they gave me enough for two people so I ate half and two sides. Saved the rest for later.

Locally owned restaurant food is so much better than the franchise stuff. You just have to look outside the high rent strip mall areas.

If you're like me and want to support independent restaurants, Theriot's is a slam dunk. This place's daily menu has practically something for everyone. Me, I'm partial to Monday's 7-Steak in Gravy and Tuesday's Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy. Add to that three additional sides you choose and you'll be in the zone.
I can't say enough good things about them. We usually get something three times a week. Yeah, I think they're that good.

Great home cooked food if you are looking for something other than fast food. They have weekly menus and everything is amazing. You wont be disappointed.

COOLER NEAR CHECKOUT WITH GOOD VARIETY DESSERT. $3.99 I ATE THE HAMBURGER STEAKS 2, 2 SCOOPS MASH TATERS WITH BROWN GRAVY WITH ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS, 1 SCOOP CORN GRITS , 1 SCOOP BLACKEYE PEAS. SOFT DINNER ROLL. I PICKED BANANA PUDDING FOR MY DESSERT. $.13.72. I ate my fill there , took away rest, ate for lunch weds, still enough for another small plate. I may never cook again. FOLKS WHO RUN IT AND WORK THERE VERY NICE. CLEAN PLACE ALSO . VERY FRIENDLY.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT MISS THIS ESTABLISHMENT......

The Brisket was awesome. The Mac an Cheese was some of the best.

This is one of the best places to get plate lunches and/or poboys, burgers in this town. The food is so good and so much, it usually knocks me out for about 2 hours right after I'm done eating it. Because of that, I'm only going to award it 4 stars. But I enjoy the food so much, and they've never gotten my order wrong, I'm gonna go ahead and restore that star, totalling 5 stars.

So just be aware that after eating here, you will be basically incapacitated for 1-2 hours.

We go to Theriot's at least 3 times a month if not more, for lunch at work. The menu online is wonderful and always updated. The food is always fresh and reminds me of lunches at my Grandma's. The ladies here are super sweet and friendly and so is the gentleman at the register.

This restereuant is at the top of my favorite places to eat. I have such praise for the AWESOME FOOD, SERVICE, JUST THE SWEET OLD FASHIONED CHARM OF THE PLACE..TAKES ME BACK TO THE WAY MY LIFE WAS WAY BACK WHEN. HOME COOKED MEALS , They offer a great variety.. I can never pass up those one of a kind burgers. Real meat, they are large.. very tasty,as is everything else. It's family owned.The nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.
If you haven't been there yet.? It's more than worth it. They also have the best cracklin.

Theriot's, my goodness! What a plate lunch! What a tradition! What a wonderful meal! I haven't had bad food yet. I doubt I ever will. Thank you for taking care of your customers. I love this place.

Excellent food at a good price. Our office staff gets lunches to go and the order is always correct. If you fax in the order (another perk), they even write the names on the go-boxes.

Great food but get there early because they do a lot of the good stuff rather quickly

Good home cooking. Plenty of food for the money spent. Parking could be a problem, if there would be a large number of Costomer's at the same time. Food seasoned very well.

Best food in New iberia

Whenever I go to my Dr. In New Iberia I always go to Theriots. Good food. Nice and clean dine in available. Reasonable prices. Well filled plate lunches.

The food here is consistently great. I have never had a bad experience with anything prepared here.
