Wow! First day this season and I’m completely impressed. Every slide is open. Staff everywhere. Fresh paint on most areas. Food is good. Especially the chicken tenders! ❤! I’ve been coming yearly since Covid and this is the best year yet! Great job, Blue Bayou!

Great water park, lots to do, fun for all ages. I went opening day this year, credit card machine was down but they got us through! Only recommendation is that they put some cover over the eye bolts sticking out of the ground in the first sled slide area. Food lines could use some assistance.

We Love our weekly trip to Blue Bayou!!! They are very accommodating and allow us to bring in fruit and veggies for us to have healthy snacks too! They have plenty of places to have lunch at and they staff are very friendly. I do wish that they had more bathrooms at the front of the park but that’s ok. My kid loves the rides and even said that he enjoys them almost as much as Disney rides;) the park is Very clean. The water is clean.

Great place paid $44 dollars before 3pm and was able to go for the free the next day. Just ask the gate people about this. Have the lemonade it was great. Little dated rides, the two parks for one was great... roller coasters and water rides for two days.

Our boys had a blast! They always do in any water park we visit. Food is a bit expensive. The entrance price is high. They raised it to $49.99 plus tax, and their hours are now 11-6pm. No more $5 off with a coke can, no more coupons, no more deals! And the biggest NO MORE IS THERE IS NO MORE DIXIE LANDIN!!!! More money for less time and less to do?? The only MORE I saw was that everything COST MORE!!! I understand everything has gone up lately, but these prices are crazy. This year, season passes are $129.99 per person. Again, more money for less time, and did I mention NO DIXIE LANDIN! This year, we will opt out of purchasing season passes because $129.99 plus tax is just outrageous for a family of 4. The only thing that didn't cost more was the $5 parking. Season passes for Gulf Island is only $64.99 plus tax per person. The daily rate is $44.99 plus tax, but the water slides cater more to younger children, which is why my kids prefer Blue Bayou. However, we are buying season passes for Gulf Island instead of Blue Bayou this year. Unfortunately, we won't be back to BB until next year. We hope by then their prices are more competitive and more affordable for 4 people. See ya next year, BB.

The site offer a variety of different water slide, most are nice , but some need Aesthetic maintenance, More than enough Rental locker, Food choices are sadly, over price and tiny compared to the $ , Overall a nice place to Go , But NOT enough to repeat the experience.

Lots of fun. It was a very clean park as well. We went on a Thursday and we never had to stand in line long enough that it felt annoying.

All of the slides were open at 11am on a Friday, the lines were non existent, and all the staff was very friendly and polite. We are very happy with our season pass purchase!

I brought my Stepdaughter and three granddaughters and had a blast … Yes there were only 3 slides open and the kiddie slides. We would have liked to go in the wave pool but we understand the situation with being understaffed. It takes a lot of employees to run a water park and the fact that they are even open should be appreciated. They tell you at the gate what the situation is and it’s up to you to stay or go home. Thank you blue bayou we had a blast.

Was awesome while it lasted. Lightning storm cut our trip short. But management gave everyone tickets for full admission to use another day. Most of the slide were closed but managers went down on the price to reflect that. Everyone there that we met were friendly and helpful. We will be going again when they are able to open more slides. Thanks for the fun guys.

It is so fun and the workers there are so nice, as well as the people. This lady was paying for something and came up short $8, and he told her the whole meal was on the house. The water park is the best attraction ever. You should go.

Love blue bayou. Been going since I was like 6. It's a yearly thing now for me and my family. Just called and they were closed due to staff shortage. Just a suggestion here, I'm not sure what they are paying but everything must be raised with inflation. Bring the price up to $40 per 48 inch customer. $35 under 48 inches. Pay $12 or more. Screw the "cool times" pricing if you get there at 3 and they close at 6 it's still full price. Just my opinion. I'd rather pay schlitterbahn prices and actually be able to go and know kids are being paid a decent amount beings my & my childs life is in their hands. The park owner I hope isn't being greedy pocketing too much and neglecting staff & the parks maintenance. They could always open another here in lafayette toake more money 😉 I'd hate to see them not reopen when it's my favorite place to go every summer! I was looking forward to season passes!

Went Last Wednesday with my sisters and a friend. It was amazing we all had a lot of fun. We went during a weekday because it was $20 from 3-6pm. It was more affordable for us. The $20 thing is On Monday- Thursday. Any other day would have been $40. Everything there is very fun however the lazy river has a problem. If you want to get back in you have to get back in line and return your donut tube and sometimes they don’t have any. Other than that it’s a perfect water park. I definitely will be back :))

My fiance and I took our 13 yr old & 3 yr old and had a great time!!! Rides for all age groups. We went on a Saturday and the lines were not to bad. Make sure to get your 2nd day free!!!! We did, so we went again Sunday and the lines were even shorter!! Clean water and fun rides! Made us adults feel like kids again! Not to expensive. Not a bad price for the food, water and yummy lemonade we got either!! Wish they didn't close so early tho! Saturday they closed at 6:00pm and the Dixie Landin side closed at 8:00pm. Sunday both sides closed at 6:00pm. We'll definitely be going again!
